Lifestyle What is your highlight of today?

me and bestie went out for ice cream after classes today :D the ice cream truck regrettably did not seem to have cookies n cream so i got chocolate with rainbow sprinkles and she got one of those two headed cones with one side chocolate the other vanilla
 
I got haxed
Again
And lost r1 of DS open
And managed to lose r1 in every open for Smogon Grand Slam
And haven't win a major tourney game in over a month
And have had more stress now than any other time in school
Oh........

This was supposed to be a highlight thread......
Oops
Then I listened to Eurovision songs and loved them
 
Today, I realized my waist size went down two more inches, and I gained three pounds (152 lbs to 155 lbs). This means I lost fat and gained weight through muscle, which is excellent because building muscle is a long-term goal of mine.

started a new project with the same guy and this mf is STILL just as unproductive somehow. I had finished up a solid 1/3rd of the project and he was on the other side of the table playing brawl stars. Can't be mad at him though, we've been friends for about 7 years.
 
-I got my chest x-ray cleared after a hemoptsis incident, which is alarming because I'm a smoker. While we don't know still what exactly went on, we know it isn't cancer. It's entirely possible i aspirated something.

-I served my childhood friend's ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, because he's acted like an unhinged dickhead, including drunkenly putting his hands on her when she rejected his advances (they haven't been together in a year). Let me tell you, knowing how he's behaved this past month, that felt good. It's also just a good feeling knowing I'm trusted to help make sure my friend's custody battle goes smoothly.

haha i work my butt off and outside the occassional nintendo switch sales/new game on xbox (Atm sand land - loving it) i dont spend much or try not to at least haha.... taxes were nice to me this year too so i finally said "ya know what? eff it, i NEED to play the FF7 remakes, Spiderman, Ghosts of Tsushima, and all the other great jrpgs on playstation" (since i'm a fiend for that sorta stuff - hence why my switch has 3 sd cards LOL) finally made the decision and pulled the trigger...

the dog & brother stuff was icing on the cake - pup is sleeping behind me now as i post this while playing Sand Land lol.

On second thought i'm never gonna switch back because this mouse makes terraria so much easier. Finally, I can use mod-specific mechanics like fargo's omnidirectional dash accessories or calamity's rage/adrenaline bar without reaching my keyboard hand out 15 fucking miles. I've bound buttons across the mouse to z, x, c, v, and b to make keybinds easy (i also use the buttons for celeste sometimes
 
Finally back home from a trip to California. One might think it’s a sad thing, but I’ve A) been without a proper computer for 10 days, and B) just suffered through the singular heat wave that forsaken place saw all summer to date. Just my luck that a wedding I’d be roped into flying out for would end up being 104 fahrenheit with a humidity of 8% lmao… glad it’s finally over

Didn’t have a highlight of the day, but was my highlight for the past week if anything
