Choice Specs Gardevoir is a niche wallbreaker on Psychic teams. With Moonblast, it can OHKO Dark-types such as Mandibuzz and Sableye, as well as shutting down Dragon-type threats such as Latios, Kyurem, and Raging Bolt. Psyshock beats specially defensive walls such as Blissey and Articuno. Focus Blast provides coverage against Steel-type foes, letting Gardevoir OHKO Archaludon and Heatran. Thunderbolt lets it handle Flying- and Water-types like Skarmory, Pelipper, and Alomomola. Trick can be used as a niche pick to neutralize threats such as Gouging Fire, Dragonite, and Alolan Muk. Vacuum Wave lets Gardevoir finish off fast weakened foes like Choice Scarf Weavile and Excadrill in sand; with a Modest nature, Gardevoir can OHKO Kingambit after Stealth Rock. Timid Gardevoir can outspeed threats such as Adamant Dragonite and Timid Heatran. Trace lets it shut down Pokemon that rely on their ability such as Kingambit, Cinderace, and Greninja.

Gardevoir requires Stealth Rock in order to OHKO many Pokemon; for this purpose, Jirachi and Metagross can easily set Stealth Rock, as well as covering most of each other’s weaknesses. Gardevoir also faces problems with Ghost-type Pokemon; for this, Hoopa-U and Indeedee are the best partners for it, as Hoopa-U takes neutral damage from Ghost-type attacks and can reliably take care of Flutter Mane and Gholdengo. Indeedee is immune to Ghost and sets Psychic Terrain for the team, which boosts the power of Gardevoir's Psychic-type moves and protects it from priority moves from Pokemon like Scizor and Kingambit. Gardevoir also forms a wallbreaking core with Choice Scarf Iron Boulder, allowing Gardevoir to handle foes like Archaludon and Skarmory, while Iron Boulder deals with foes like Gouging Fire, Hisuian Goodra, and Choice Specs Flutter Mane. Deoxys-S is an incredible partner for Gardevoir, as it can set Spikes to boost Gardevoir's wallbreaking potential and use Teleport to grant it safe entry. Latios and Latias form a wallbreaking core with Gardevoir, with Latias providing additional aid through Healing Wish, which allows Gardevoir to battle at full potential once again. Espathra is a late-game sweeper that complements Gardevoir role as a wallbreaker.

hi, since you're new to analyses I'd like to share some key points regarding spacing while writing an analysis.

1) first and foremost, you always put spaces before and after your slash (/). so for example: "Focus Blast / Thunderbolt / Trick".
2) secondly, you always put a space after a period. so like this: "The given set uses basic EVs. The Trace ability lets it shut down Pokemon."
3) there is no space before a comma, but one space after it. so like this: "It is able to shut down foes like Garchomp, Kyurem, and Zamazenta."
4) while i'm qcing i will be following these spacing rules ^ so i'm mentioning these changes beforehand since there's a space needed in almost every sentence.
5) these are just spaces which is why im implementing them, but any other grammatical changes in the content comes under the responsibility of the gp team.

the next few points are standard procedure while implementing QC/GP. I'm not sure if you know this already but I'll still put it here to make it easy.
4) once an analysis has been QC'd, you want to click "Reply" to my message,
5) click the Gear icon to go into "BB Mode".
1719031383762.png

6) Then you copy-paste my entire message and go to your analysis and paste it,
7) then you click the Gear icon to revert back to normal mode, and you start backspacing whatever is red in color
8) implement whatever is in green color (usually instructions) and keep the blue as it is.
9) once that's done, select all and click the first button in the top bar to Clear Formatting.

10) and then you're done!

The given set uses basic EVs so that Gardevoir has max Speed and Special Attack Investment. (fluff, you dont need to talk about EVs if theyre basic or max/max) The Trace Ability Trace lets it shut down pokemon thats rely on their ability such as weather teams (this is factually incorrect, if you Trace Drizzle or Drought then either you reset weather or nothing changes, so there is no benefit to your own team. Please change example to, Kingambit, Cinderace, or Greninja (tracing Supreme Overlord/Libero/Protean in the endgame is very good). Gardevoir with Choice Specs is a strong wallbreaker on Psychic-Type teams, threatening Dark-types walls such as Mandibuzz and Sableye with STAB boosted (anyone reading this analysis knows its STAB boosted, fluff) Moonblast which OHKOS’s them while outspeeding both (fluff, since theyre always gonna be slower than you). With Moonblast it is further able to shut down Dragon Type and Fighting-Type Sweepers and Set Up Pokemon setup sweepers such as Garchomp, Kyureum Kyurem, Zamazenta and Non Scarf Urshifu non-Choice Scarf Urshifu-R. STAB boosetd Psyshock gives coverage for Gardevoir’s Poison-Type weakness and also shuts down Poison Walls as It OHKO’s Amoonguss, and Toxapex after Stealth Rock damage. Psyshock also checks Specially Defensive Walls such as Blissey and 2 HKO’s it. Focus Blast gives protection to Gardevoir against it’s Steel Type foes, letting it OHKO Archaludon and Heatran. Focus Blast lets it OHKO Archaludon and Heatran before they can attack Gardevoir. Thunderbolt lets Gardevoir keep Flying Types walls and Water Type in check. Thunderbolt let’s it OHKO Skarmory, Corviknight (Corviknight is a 2HKO even after Stealth Rock) after Stealth Rock damage, Pelliper and Alolamola Pelipper, and Alomomola. Trick can be used as a Niche pick to neutralize Physical set up threats such as Gouging Fire , and Dragonite and Ogerpons (you cant Trick items onto Ogerpon-W and Ogerpon-H, and regular Ogerpon is irrelevant). Vacuum Wave lets Modest Gardevoir OHKO KingGambit Kingambit after Stealth Rock Damage. The priority lets Gardevoir finish off fast weakened enemies like Choice Scarf Weavile and Excadrill in sand.

Gardevoir fails against fast physical attackers, especially Steel-Types and Poison-Types such as Sneasler and Excadrill. So pokemon like Iron Crown and Metagross resist these hits and help switch in to Gardevoir (these are bad examples because 1) they take neutral damage from sneasler's close combat, and 2) they are weak to excadrill's earthquake. i would rephrase the sentence to say that they can switch into Sneasler's Dire Claw and Excadrill's Iron Head, since they dont resist all hits). In return Gardevoir covers their Dark-Types and Gound-Type weakness (how exactly does it do that? yes it covers dark type weaknesses but it doesnt cover ground per se. you could say "In return, Gardevoir handles foes like Sableye on Dark teams and Iron Moth on Fire teams, or any better examples). Gardevoir requires Stealth Rock in order to OHKO many pokemon for this purpose Jirachi is the best partner for Gardevoir , it can easily set up Stealth Rock and switch in and out to Gardevoir due to both resisting each other’s most weaknesses. Gardevoir also faces problems with Ghost-Types pokemon such as Flutter Mane and Gholdengo due to super-effective ghost type attacks which can OHKO it, for this Indeedee is the best partner for it as it’s immune to ghost type moves and also in return sets up Psychic Terrain for the team. In return Gardevoir provides Indeedee with a safe switch to it’s Weaknesses (no it does not. indeedee is weak to dark type attacks and garde takes neutral so its definitely not a safe switch). Gardevoir also pairs well with Iron Boulder as they form a wallbreaking core, allowing Gardevoir to handle foes like Archaludon and Skarmory, while Iron Boulder deals with foes like Gouging Fire and Hisuian Goodra. it is the Special Attacker of the team and Iron Boulder is the main Physical Attacker of the team. (mention hatterene, galarian slowking, espathra, deoxys-s, lati twins, and hoopa-u. keep the info brief)

It is further able to shut down Dragon Type and Fighting-Type setup sweepers threats such as Garchomp Latios, Kyurem, Zamazenta and non-Choice Scarf Urshifu-R (I personally would remove the Fighting type as most of Psychic shuts them down anyway, Gard also loses to Zama since Heavy Slam has a massive chance to kill after rocks and Urshifu Surging Strikes kills even without rocks). Psyshock gives coverage for Gardevoir’s Poison-Type weakness and also shuts down Poison Walls as It OHKO’s Amoonguss, and Toxapex after Stealth Rock damage. (Similarly Psychic Checks Poison naturally, but most Poison teams would go AMuk on Gard, also Psyshock doesn't OKHO pex after rocks.) Psyshock also checks beats Specially Defensive Walls such as Blissey and Articuno 2 HKO’s it. Focus Blast gives protection to Gardevoir against Steel-Type foes, letting it OHKO Archaludon and Heatran. Thunderbolt let’s it handle Flying- and Water-types like OHKO Skarmory, Pelipper, and Alomomola. Trick can be used as a Niche pick to neutralize Physical set up threats such as Gouging Fire and Dragonite and Alolan Muk (Trick has more use than just screwing up setup sweepers, removing AMuk's black sludge and nuddering it makes the Poison MU just a flat win). Vacuum Wave lets Modest Gardevoir OHKO Kingambit after Stealth Rock Damage. The priority lets Gardevoir finish off fast weakened enemies like Choice Scarf Weavile and Excadrill in sand. Add why we would run Timid over Modest, note Gard hits 284 so you do outspeed Adamant Dragonite and Timid Heatran for a decent start.

(Sapphire already mentioned this, just catching this again, I would replace Sneasler and Excadrill with Scizor and Jirachi and change it to be, "notably against threats such as Scizor and Jirachi." I would also change Iron Crown to Jirachi and merge Jirachi and Metagross together since they're both Steel-types that can provide Stealth Rock. Then mention in the next Sentence that Jirachi can pivot Gardevoir in. Also remove Sableye and Moth, Sableye was already mentioned earlier and Specs Moth kills in sun with Fiery Dance and just outright with Overheat.) Gardevoir requires Stealth Rock in order to OHKO many pokemon for this purpose Jirachi is the best partner for Gardevoir , it can easily set up Stealth Rock and switch in and out to Gardevoir due to both resisting each other’s most weaknesses. (Gonna be honest, replace Indeedee with Hoopa-u for checking Ghost-types since Hoopa can deal with FM and Ghold much more reliably which Indeedee can struggle to do) Gardevoir also pairs well with Choice Scarf Iron Boulder as they form a wallbreaking core, allowing Gardevoir to handle foes like Archaludon and Skarmory, while Iron Boulder deals with foes like Gouging Fire and Hisuian Goodra along with Choice Specs Flutter Mane (removing Flutter Mane is big yay). It is further able to shut down Dragon Type threats such as Latios, Kyurem and Raging Bolt. Psyshock beats Specially Defensive Walls such as Blissey and Articuno. Focus Blast gives protection to Gardevoir against Steel-Type foes, letting it OHKO Archaludon and Heatran. Thunderbolt let’s it handle Flying- and Water-types like Skarmory, Pelipper, and Alomomola. Trick can be used as a Niche pick to neutralize threats such as Gouging Fire, Dragonite and Alolan Muk. Vacuum Wave lets Modest Gardevoir OHKO Kingambit after Stealth Rock Damage. The priority lets Gardevoir finish off fast weakened enemies like Choice Scarf Weavile and Excadrill in sand. Timid Gardvoir can be used to outspeeds threats such as Adamant Dragonite and Timid Heatran for a decent start.

Gardevoir requires Stealth Rock in order to OHKO many pokemon for this purpose Jirachi and Metagross are the best partners for Gardevoir , they can easily set up Stealth Rock and switch in and out to Gardevoir due to both resisting each other’s most weaknesses. Gardevoir also faces problems with Ghost-Types pokemon such as Flutter Mane and Gholdengo due to super-effective ghost type attacks which can OHKO it, for this Hoopa-U and Indeedee are the best partners for it as it’s takes Ghost-Types moves for neutral and can reliably take care of FlutterMane and Gholdengo. In return Gardevoir can switch into Hoopa-U to protect it from Super Effective Hits of Bug-Type and Fairy-Type as Gardevoir takes Bug-Type and Fairy-Type moves for neutral damage. Indeede is immune to ghost type moves and also in return sets up Psychic Terrain for the team which boosts power of Gardevoir's Psychic Moves and protects Gardevoir from Supper Effective Bullet Punch from pokemon like Scizor. Gardevoir also pairs well with Choice Scarf Iron Boulder as they form a wallbreaking core, allowing Gardevoir to handle foes like Archaludon and Skarmory, while Iron Boulder deals with foes like Gouging Fire and Hisuian Goodra along with Choice Specs Flutter Mane. Espathra is an incredible late-game sweeper that complements Gardevoir role as a wallbreaker.
