[SET COMMENTS]
With Bulk Up, Great Tusk acts as a decent setup sweeper on Ground teams that also deters Iron Defense Zamazenta and Kingambit, which can be a bit difficult for Ground teams to handle. Body Press OHKOes Kingambit, Weavile, and Mamoswine after Stealth Rock while also taking advantage of its respectable Defense and Bulk Up to muscle through foes like Corviknight and Zamazenta. Knock Off provides coverage against Ghost-types like Gholdengo and Dragapult while removing key items such as Archaludon's Leftovers and Skarmory's Rocky Helmet. Rapid Spin not only removes entry hazards to support its teammates, but with the speed boost, Great Tusk is able to outspeed normally faster foes like Gouging Fire. 44 Speed EVs allow Great Tusk to outspeed and threaten Modest Magnezone and Jolly Kingambit.
Clodsire is a crucial teammate for Great Tusk, since it sets up entry hazards to wear down incoming foes, is a Water-immune team mate, and fares well against the likes of Flutter Mane, Walking Wake, and Primarina which Great Tusk hates. In return, Clodsire appreciates Great Tusk beating Ground-types that threaten it such as Excadrill and Iron Treads. Ting-Lu is another teammate that can set up entry hazards; and in addition, it phazes out setup sweepers such as Volcarona and Hydreigon with Whirlwind and fares well in the Psychic and Dragon matchups, notably switching in against Latios and Choice Specs Dragapult. Mamoswine and Landorus appreciate Great Tusk removing hazards, which would otherwise wear them down easily. In turn, Mamoswine aids in the Flying and Dragon matchups, taking on the likes of Enamorus, Dragonite, Hisuian Goodra, and Dragapult, while Landorus's coverage hits a myriad of foes like Hatterene, Archaludon, and IronPress Zamazenta. Late-game sweepers such as Swords Dance Garchomp appreciate Great Tusk beating foes like Kingambit so it can sweep more easily. Mixed Garchomp is also an option, as it lures and heavily damages Skarmory and Archaludon which give Great Tusk trouble. Sand teams benefit from Great Tusk's ability to keep Zamazenta and Kingambit at bay, in return, Sand Rush Excadrill swiftly deals with Flutter Mane, Choice Scarf Meowscarada, and Greninja for Great Tusk.
