WELCOME TO THE NINTH EDITION OF BSPL​
This is the signup thread for aspiring managers. From the signups, 6 managers will be chosen in this year's BSPL. Make sure you know the responsibilities of a manager before you sign up.
  • Managers are required to participate in the auction to draft their players during the week of July 29th (time will be determined later with all managers).
    • Up to two players may sign up to manage a team together.
  • Managers must select the lineup for the week, and send it to me before the week starts. Please be punctual about this.
  • Managers are responsible for their team's behavior. Make sure members of your team are abiding by the rules and remain active.
  • Managers are expected to facilitate substitutions when necessary.
  • Managers will be allowed to purchase themselves as players for their team, for a price of 10k + (number of wins in BSPL VIII * 1.5k).
    • However, it should be noted only one manager may self-purchase themselves.
The manager selection process is quite subjective but things such as prior and/or current involvement within the BSS community and previous and/or current managerial experience will be weighted.

What makes you a good choice: We were a pair last year and made playoffs. We both have played BSS before and have a good knowledge of the playerbase. We also have enough team tour experiences (along with my managerial/draft experience) so we can form an active, friendly team environment.
What is the best Ice Cream flavor: all but my assman I want Atago to sit on me might say otherwise

What Makes You A Good Choice:
I managed the first edition of BSS World Cup and BSS Premier League last year. I have extensive experience in managing tournaments and have a good track record. Herv is a beast in his own right. He won the World Cup of Pokemon in 2022, managed France in the BSS World Cup twice , Played BSSPL For The Past 2 Editions (Winning The One in 2022),made it to the BSS Open finals, semifinals in the ladder tour last year, and finals this year. We both have great knowledge about the tier and managing experience, and we can draft a great team and create a good environment.

What makes you a good choice: I have been a manager in many tournaments and I have enough experience to be able to win BSSPL this year and not lose in the final again

It's with a heavy heart that I must announce that I will not be managing this iteration of BSSPL.

I have fond memories of last years tournament. Having to solo-manage and lead my team. Having to build for multiple tiers week after week. Having to constantly ignite the flame in their hearts to persevere. Being triumphant with our backs against the wall. It was a heroic effort on our parts and a core memory of happiness. I hope each team can have just as much fun as I had.

But, let it be known - my heroic solo-managing performance may one day be imitated, but never replicated.

What Makes You A Good Choice:
I managed BSSPL (Got Finalist) and Irene also managed BSSPL last year, both with different partners. Irene is managing a lot of tours right now like SSPL, CAPPL, she also played in a lot of tours like SMPL, WCOR, and some more. For my part i managed some tours last year like PTPL, EPL, LJDA (also LJDA this year), UMPL, so we have a lot of experience managing and playing this tier.

What makes you a good choice: Already managed under this team name for BSSPL before, and have experience with managing for the BSS World Cup as well, even managed to win this year!

Team Managers: me and someone please help me :despair:
What makes you a good choice: I’m the goat I have about 3 years experience with competing in bss and have managed or comanaged teams for a lot of that time, including running team America for WCup II and assisting with US West for WCup I, I also helped NOVED manage the Rustboro Rocky Helmets last year.

No logo but here’s the art I want to base it off while I look for someone to make one
