  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

SV: Whitespaniard vs Masskeau - masskeau prep is good as i witnessed first-hand last week, so i want him to win this week too (45/55)
SV: Chaitanya vs Floss - the battle of the washed (this is a joke pls dont bully me later) (55/45)
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs Bouff - france power is strong with this one (60/40)
SV: Fraolain vs feen - frol is x-0, and bro has no intention of stopping (60/40)
SS: maki vs schwipper - schwipper can play well under pressure as we witnessed last week, maki fresh off the bench who knows what he'll do (49/51)
SM: QWILY vs Toadow - toadow has been performing way better compared to his opponent, esp boasting the best record in melos rn (30/70)
ORAS: Mada vs Cielau - idk oras slot for melos is guaranteed 0-x lol no matter how good the player is (60/40)
BW: North vs Gelbel3c - favoring the bw cup winner here, with poff fever and madara scouts definitely outprepping gelbel's creativity (55/45)

SV: style.css vs Scarfire - they have the same record, but i do believe style is thriving in krows and might load a comfortable mu here (55/45)
SV: TTK vs Leafium Z - the leaf magic is slowly fading away, and ttk beat him in reg season i dont see how poffs should be any different. definitely a rematch worth watching (55/45)
SV: Mimilucha vs FadedCharm - fadedcharm tour grind is sharpening their skills consistently, and it'll show in this match whereas their opponent is fresh off the bench and their win last week was the virtue of a good matchup so who knows (40/60)
SV: Tarre25 vs Sificon - sificon has a 2-4 record which entails that a win for them is the need of the hour, esp since its poffs (40/60)
SS: 3d vs ikiarihS - 3d has been awfully consistent in this tier and reigns on top of the krows list *insert crasher wake screenshot* (60/40)
SM: Gondra vs DugZa - similarly dugza has the best record on the team and i dont see why poffs would put a dent on it (45/55)
ORAS: fade vs Dj Breloominati♬ - fade has performed super well, with one of his 2 Ls being against spitfire and i've always bolded spitfire in my predicts but i feel this game will be a turnabout (55/45)
BW: Sabella vs sasha - if sasha wins this game it'll be legendary for her team but sabella has been just too good in this tour (60/40)

Semis predictions lets see how many I get right:

Hearthome Honchkrows (4) vs (4) Zero Isle Zoroarks

SV: style.css vs Scarfire . Both players had a solid run with a 4-3 score in MPL, however, the latter seems to have slightly better understanding of this tier and has also won more difficult matchups throughout the tournament, so I believe he has better chances. On the other hand, style.css and his crew have shown their ability to prep for games better, being able to more accurately predict what his opponents are about to bring. Looking forward to a close game regardless, expecting style.css to have a better matchup which may come in handy for him but scarfire will be able to turn the tables if he is motivated enough. (49/51)

SV: TTK vs Leafium Z Leaf has better chances, not only he's more established in this tier but also has a better record. Of course TTK can still upset and maybe get a better matchup, the honchkrows seem very motivated to do whatever it takes to support their teammates. (47/53)

SV: Mimilucha vs FadedCharm I don't know both that much but FadedCharm got a win so he's motivated. He's also a mono mainer so he should know this tier a little better (again i may be wrong because i have never seen mimilucha play), but I know honchkrows are making sure Mimilucha can perform well. (48/52)

SV: Tarre25 vs Sificon Tarre25 is very motivated and plays solid, Sificon had some inconsistent runs and has several improvements to make if he wants to grab that win, based on the games i have watched from both of them. (57/43)

SS: 3d vs ikiarihS Both great players, 3d has been overall more consistent so I think he has better chances. (53/47)

SM: Gondra vs DugZa Semis highlight game, Dugza is definitely one of SM Monotype's biggest names so he has a lot of knowledge he can put up to use. On the other hand I do believe Gondra has more consistent playing abilities which he will use to his favor, while still being able to get help from his teammates to be prepared for most things Dugza can bring. Should be a super close game though and I am really looking forward to it (51/49).

ORAS: fade vs Dj Breloominati♬ Dj Breloominati is in my honest opinion the best ORAS monotype player in the pool for a while, had so many consistent runs throughout many different tournaments (incluiding this MPL, 3-2). He has also proven the ability to cook spicy builds and not just reuse standard builds, which is the main reason why I am rooting for him here and even has top playing abilities to pair up with that. However, fade is no joke either, and has definitely proven to be the 2nd best if anything with the strongest ORAS record in this MPL (4-1). fade also has access to one of the best ORAS supporters this community knows of so this game is also obviously looking very spicy. (48/52)

BW: Sabella vs sasha Sabella is super established in BW, so he's the preferred winner here. However this might motivate sasha to beat one of BWs biggest names and has nothing to lose here either so i'm expecting them to perform well. (54/46).

Ggs to the Krows, hoping to see bestie Isza take home a win this MPL. Your managerial run has been pretty great to see firsthand and I always love seeing my friends win

To the Zoroarks, this loss stings as MPL is one of the very few tours I want to win but thank you for trusting me in playoffs and I'm sorry for not delivering. Mainly just writing this to give my thanks to plunder and Scarfire. Both for picking me up and I know my words don't mean much but Plunder has been an insanely consistent manager for such a long time and Scarfire for winning two mono tours back to back and then going on to manage another one into playoffs while workhorsing the fuck out of 4 slots alone I know first hand how much work it is and it can get really tiring but you really can't be doing all of it unless you truly love the game and your dedication was really admirable. We didn't put the work in needed to win this tour honestly and that's where we fell short. There's always next season! Gl to the rest of the competitors
