I know you had an actual keyboard but this just makes me imagine an iPad kid just tapping the surface of the keys to type.Do you have any idea how painful it is to need to actually press the key down all the way to type a letter?

I'm a lazy fuck so yeahIt's true what they say: Good times create weak men.
I do NOT have weak fingers. It's just that i'm used to being able to actuate a key without pressing it down all the way. With most membrane keyboards it's fine because they bottom out no matter what but some genius at the dell design team decided to cut costs by making the distance between the end of the bump and the actual switch about 15 fucking miles.hey check out this guys weak fingers lol. everyone look
That's pokemon unite for u. I hate it but it's extremely addicting. How the fuck do some people say that they really hate a game and then tell you they played it for 50+ hours?
Like if I don't enjoy a game, I play it for 2 hours tops and then I just lay it to the side. The fact that some people genuinenly put in dozens to hundreds of hours into games they dislike is so fucking insane to me
It's like how there are some of the most repetitive, boring ass shooters that have a community that plays it for hundreds to thousands of hours on average. How the fuck do you enjoy destiny 2 for 1500 hours. What is wrong with you
Honestly some games just get worse the more you play them. Celeste's base game is a 50+ hour experience to 100% excluding golden berries, and the golden berries are one of the worst experiences i've had. The c-sides are trivial and the a-sides are piss easy but also massively time consuming. The b-sides are fine since they make you actually learn the level instead of bruteforcing them. I have i think about 140 or so hours in the game and about 80 of those hours are mods. How the fuck do some people say that they really hate a game and then tell you they played it for 50+ hours?

to be fair you can really only hate a game after you've pumped enough hours into itHow the fuck do some people say that they really hate a game and then tell you they played it for 50+ hours?

The same thing is true for pretty much anything. Like I hated mushoku tensei before i watched it, I told myself "People say the worldbuilding and story is amazing, so just try and ignore the fact that rudeus is a freak" and now that i've watched the show I can feel completely justified in saying that rudeus single-handedly ruins the show, and surrounding him with people worse than him isn't the same thing as giving him a redemption arc.to be fair you can really only hate a game after you've pumped enough hours into it
my favorite game of all time is Sonic Battle for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance family of systems. its combat is ambitious but misses the mark, the method for collecting moves to learn is atrocious, and they lowkey butchered Amy's character along with several continuity errors (to the point where it is the sole semi-canonical title in the Sonic Timeline TM). and yet, when i did the mental math and asked myself what my favorite game was, the math didn't lie. it's got fuckin soul, i spent dozens of hours playing and replaying it as a kid, and it has some really good memories in my brainHow the fuck do some people say that they really hate a game and then tell you they played it for 50+ hours?

"Unfortunate" doesn't begin to describe my series, this game rewards blind luck and nothing else, I am beyond convinced at this point. After getting completely tooled by scheduling with my opponent changing times on me last minute and refusing to provide confirmation prior to the day of the match as to play times, losing this way somehow felt even worse than I had thought possible. My preparation was superior, my play was superior, and I lost, so I don't see a reason to continue engaging in an activity where what is within my control is overwhelmingly outweighed by what is not.How the fuck do some people say that they really hate a game and then tell you they played it for 50+ hours?

Sometimes, you really enjoy a game at first, but you gradually start to dislike it as your playtime creeps higher. Sometimes, you keep hearing that a game is really good or gets really good after you overcome some hurdles, so you stick with it for a while despite not liking it. Sometimes, you dislike a game immediately, but you beat it anyway to make sure that your opinion about it is taken seriously. There are many such cases in all of these categories. How the fuck do some people say that they really hate a game and then tell you they played it for 50+ hours?

Everyone's a genius in a bull market. Switch games get eight-figure sales numbers just for bordering on passable.>Somehow still managed to sell 13 million copies despite all of the above
yes. out of the four options for social studies at my school, half was entirely about America.man I should probably not make obscure European references in a forum mostly inhabited by Americans huh

>Abruptly dropped Year 5 of the Switch for $40 despite being the sequel to a free pack-in title
>Somehow had less content than said pack-in title at launch
>Can't even properly cash in on nostalgia due to dropping Miis, the most iconic visual element of its predecessors
>Post-launch support experiences inexplicable delays not seen by basically any other major Nintendo game with content updates
>Somehow still managed to sell 13 million copies despite all of the above
What an utter enigma of a game
It's three really excellent song fragments jammed together in a way that works just well enough for the excellence of all three to come through. Also, Freddie Mercury sells the whole thing masterfully. Why does Bohemian Rhapsody go so hard?
It is by no definition a good song. It has borderline nonsensical lyrics, an out of nowhere electric guitar solo, and constantly changes pacing. It should be a bad song. And yet everyone, me included, loves it. This has to be black magic.
this was not a joke btw, my mother-in-law is playing the new basketball mode in the other room this very second. she's on the online ladder for golf and bowling, she takes this VERY seriously. maybe for some of y'all the online mode held this game back, but for others it is HIGHLY serious>is an easy-to-learn sports game, which is playable by literally every demographic including my mother-in-law, right now
>is on the Switch
the game wasn't all it could've been, but these two were really all it needed
