:scream-tail: Beaf Cultist, Nekrow, anaconja, chemicalmines
:brute-bonnet: Beaf Cultist, Beebos (sv), anaconja, Orangesodapop

Alright, voting has now ended, and it's time to announce the winners!

For Great Tusk and Scream Tail, we have me with Eleffigy and Icaruff!
:sv/great-tusk:
Name: Eleffigy
Original Pokemon: Great Tusk
Typing:
Psychic.png
Fighting.png

Abilities: Rough Skin | Zen Mode
Stats: 105 / 121 / 111 / 53 / 67 / 87 [544 BST]
Zen Mode Stats: 105 / 53 / 67 / 131 / 71 / 117 [544 BST]
New Moves: Ivory Slash, Aura Sphere, Calm Mind, Dazzling Gleam, Extrasensory, Focus Blast, Future Sight, Healing Wish, Magic Coat, Psychic
Ivory Slash: 80 BP Physical Psychic, 10 PP. Raises the user's crit rate by one stage after doing damage. (also is a Blade move)
Removed Moves: Dig, Earthquake, Headlong Rush, High Horsepower, Rapid Spin, Stomping Tantrum

Role: Even after its nerf, Archeops still looks pretty crazy. Nothing really switches into STABs + Knock Off comfortably, and I'm tired of how freely it pivots around. So, here's a counter. Eleffigy switches into everything Archeops can click pretty comfortably and punishes button mashing thanks to Rough Skin, while also providing pretty solid offensive pressure so as not to be a momentum sink. It's not a perfect answer though, as once its Leftovers get Knocked it has no other means of recovery, but it makes the guessing game of playing around Archeops a LOT easier. Zen Mode also exists and is funny.
Flavor: References ivory's spiritual significance in many ancient cultures, particularly as a source of luck. Also uhh mammoth or something.

:sv/scream-tail:
Name: Icaruff
Original Pokemon: Scream Tail
Typing:
Normal.png
Flying.png

Abilities: Thick Fat | Infiltrator
Stats: 115 / 55 / 99 / 75 / 85 / 111 [540 BST]
New Moves: Soul Wind, Acrobatics, Aerial Ace, Air Slash, Defog, Giga Drain, Heat Wave, Leech Life, Roost, Tailwind
Soul Wind: 90 BP Special Flying, 10 PP. Deals double damage to Ghost types. (also is a Wind move)
Removed Moves: Amnesia, Expanding Force, Imprison, Misty Explosion, Misty Terrain, Psybeam, Psychic, Psychic Terrain, Psyshock, Stored Power, Trick Room

Role: Ghosts are everywhere in the current meta, which makes defensive Normals actually pretty strong. Cardantis is effective, but it's also a Ghost, which is pretty cringe. Icaruff is made specifically to answer Tauros-Ancestor, who lacks consistent defensive counterplay, but also to check Ghosts in general thanks to its Normal typing and great bulk.
Flavor: Based on Icaronycteris, an ancient bat, but it's fat now.

And for Brute Bonnet, we have Beebos with Ungabunguss!
:brute-bonnet: Ungabunguss (formerly Brute Bonnet)
Type:
Dark.png

Abilities: Overcoat, Neutralizing Gas
Stats: 107 | 117 | 99 | 83 | 81 | 53 [BST= 540]
Added Moves: Beat Up, False Surrender, High Horsepower, Knock Off, Leech Seed, Obstruct, Thunder Punch, Toxic
Removed Moves: Energy Ball, Grassy Terrain, Ingrain, Leaf Storm, Magical Leaf, Seed Bomb
Description: ngas gaming. bulky attacker that can shut down ability-reliant attackers such as tauros/conk-ancient and tyrantrum or deal with all those annoying ghost mons in the meta. A defensive mon that ignores poison touch from moscourge/venopleura is also nice. No SDance sucks but I decided against it since this mon still has access to spore.
Flavor: There is like zero flavor to this guy I just wanted to give brute bonnet the name it deserves. unga bunga

Obviously I'm pretty happy with these winners, but I wanna hear what y'all think! I'll give you about 12 hours to post first impressions, and then submissions for Slate 11 will open. Look forward to it!

:great-tusk: satisfied that one of the fighting/psychic subs has passed. Curious about how both forms will work and how they'll interact with the meta, specially with the big meanies of the meta. Got my fingers crossed.

:scream-tail: hello Boomburst (probably not that big of a problem since 75 SpA and most of the meta is immune, but this will probably be better demonstrated when these become available). Once again an answer to the Ghost problem, but this time it isn't a Ghost type, hooray!

:brute-bonnet: Welcome back ungabunguss. We've reached The Great Filter, (when a meta recieves Neutralizing Gas) that will separate type-2 mons to type-3 mons (this makes more sense when you're a astrobiology nerd). While yes, it will shut down some mons, most of the meta isn't as reliable on its abilities. I'm not so worried about it rn, but this will probably be one of those things to keep at the back of your pen when subbing. Also a dark type, hooray!

SLATE 11 - Ancient Amphibians (Swampert, Bellibolt, Salazzle)
:sv/swampert: :swsh/bellibolt: :swsh/salazzle:

Once again, we present you with an Ancient Form slate! The goal for this slate will be to create ancient versions of the mons listed above, which will follow the same rules as regional variants. The rules for submission are as follows:
  • You can sub 1 to 3 of the Pokémon chosen in this slate (reworks on existing Pre-Evolutions can also be made if you want)
  • Make sure to compare your submission to what already exists to help gauge its power and ensure you're not outclassing anything. There has been plenty of playtesting of the current meta, so I highly recommend reading through the assorted metagame discussion posts and getting feedback on your submission in the Discord.
  • Custom Elements are allowed, as long as they are different from already existing abilities/moves and are relatively simple to code (no custom field effects - we're learning from last gen lol. Also, if you think it's codable but our coder disagrees, then you'd better be prepared to code it yourself if it wins.)
  • Since this is an Ancient Form slate, make sure your submissions have the same BST as the original Pokémon.
  • To clarify, any Pokémon not currently in Generation 9 will instead use its Generation 8 movepool minus dexited moves (aka moves that are unusable in SV).

Name: Swampert-Ancient
Original Pokémon: Swampert
Typing: Water/Psychic
Abilities: Torrent, Psychic Surge
Stats: 95/95/90/75/65/115

New Moves: Psychic, Psycho Cut, Zen Headbutt, Psychic Fangs, Confusion, Psyshock, Future Sight, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Recover, Teleport, Trick Room, Wave Crash, Wish, Healing Wish
Removed Moves: All Ground Moves, Muddy Water, Stealth Rock, Bulk Up

Role: Offensive Pivot, Cleric, Support, Psyterrain Setter, can setup with bulk up, good offensive check to a lot of mons like archeops and the plethora of fightings in the tier, and can generally soften up physical attackers with very fast pivoting moves, decent bulk alongside recovery give it a lot of tools to work with, as well as a wide physical movepool with strong STABs
Edit: Swapped Intimidate out for Psychic Surge, which allows it further firepower on its psychic fangs, and gives it a great support factor for a team, alongside immunity to priority that would otherwise one-shot it like sucker punches and first impressions.
Edit II, Veto Edition: Shaved off 10 attack, relocated bulk to be more susceptible to special hits, removed bulk up to dispatch offensive presence. Atp it’s checked well by Lapras, Gourgeist, Cardantis, Aerodactyl, Elifiggy, Tyrantrum, Ungabunguss, or really just most physical walls, can’t setup, and there’s a good amount of the terrain in the tier to just override the psychic terrain that made this thing so threatening in the first place. Felt like the speed tier was crucial to maintaining positive matchups against a lot of the tier’s fightings, and not just being fodder to the Yizolt Machine every time it pops out of the pokeball, so I took alternative means to nerf it to fit the vision more. Beaf try to call this shit still broken I dare you.
Flavor: Axolotls evolved from salamanders whom maintained juvenile features through a process called Neoteny. So now we imagine, what would a swampert that didn't do that look like. It can be inferred that swampert of the past went through this process to preserve more mudskipper characteristics, becoming better adapted to swampy environments as they are today, so let's ditch the ground typing. This pokemon also has heavy ties to the Slowpoke line, possessing a more purplish hue, but a far more agile body type, some significant elements of Mega Swampert will also be present.

:dragapult: :sv/bellibolt: :raging bolt:
Name: Bellibolt-Ancient
Original Pokémon: Bellibolt

Abilities: Gooey, Hydration, Game Hunter

New Moves: Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Twister, Outrage, Glare, Shock Repeater, Calm Mind, Glare, Reflect, Sludge Bomb, Gunk Shot, Sludge Wave, Weather Ball, Surf
Removed Moves: Chilling Water, Muddy Water, Slack Off

Game Hunter: After an attack, holder gains 1/8 of the damage in HP granted to other pokemon. (Shell Bell, but Ability) (Not Sig either this can be spread)

Shock Repeater:
65 BP, Electric, Special, +1 Priority
Glaive Rush effect
Description: The user quickly re-triggers an electric blast for a quick burst of damage. This leaves the user vulnerable until it can properly recharge.

Role: Bulky Pivot and Breaker. Priority move is a bit of a gamble but is an extremely strong burst damage option, as its a bulky tank, so if it doesn't kill or force a switch, your tank will be taking huge damage. Regardless its a complete fatass, packaged with passive healing while it attacks, good priority, strong pivoting.
Edit: Prankster is removed because prankster glare i forgot i did that. Electro shot has been yoinked for beebos reason, instead being swapped with Weather Ball, Surf, and Hydration, to still be a weather abuser if rain is ever added, but not one that is broko cuz of electro shot. Game Hunter serves as a method of longevity to let it just keep making progress while staying healthy, overall just a strong fatass breaker.
Flavor: Common Ancestor of Dragapult. Yeah turns out, Diplocaulus, the thing dragapult is based off, is a very primitive sorta frog, so now we making Froggapult. Continuing with the electricity theme of Bellibolt, the very triangular head is fashioned to look like a kite, echoing the beginnings of harnessed electricity of humans (the ben franklin kite story), and functions like a railgun almost. Besides a slightly more aggressive body shape, its still a goofy lookin froggo. Goofy little kite railgun frog, you love to see it.

Removed Moves: All Rock moves except Rock Tomb, Bulk Up, Bulldoze, Dig, Earth Power, Outrage, Stomping Tantrum
Description: Straightforward mixed bulky mon. Performs best against Swishivish and can check Alticombat's Acrobatics shenanigans. Is also... fine against Yizolt - pert doesn't take bolt beaks with much gusto, but a single speed drop from Gooey can really hamper zolt's offensive potential. In the advent we do get a rain setter in the mod, pert can serve as a nice defensive partner to Servachne, resisting all the types that mon is weak to. Also Meganium has been down bad for a while so here is some food for it.
Flavor: In prehistoric times, the Swampert line had an affinity for electricity before moving to more swampy and terrestrial habitats.

Description: Meta needs more bugs so I'm turning a frog into a bug. Special-oriented bulky mon (I looooove bulky pure bugs) with bug fire lash, holy cow! Not bad into stuff like unga, crobat, eleffigy, and the gourgs - belli doesn't particularly excel against a whole lot, but its increased coverage means that it can make a decent impact against anything not carrying a SE move.
Flavor: The large dynamo in modern-day Bellibolts' stomach were once many sacs that it kept developing Tadbulbs inside. In a pinch, it could fire some of its offspring out against aggressors. Inspired by surinam toads (trypophobes click at your own risk!)

New Moves: Absorb, Cotton Guard, Frenzy Plant, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Grass Pledge, Grassy Glide, Ingrain, Leaf Storm, Magical Leaf, Power Whip, Seed Bomb, Solar Beam, Stun Spore, Synthesis
Removed Moves: Rock Smash, Hammer Arm, Bulldoze, Dig, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, Outrage, Sand Tomb, Smack Down, High Horsepower, Hard Press.

Role: Bulky Physical Wall
Flavor: A long-extinct breed of Swampert that was closely related to river reeds, rather than muddy riverbeds.

Edit: I have been informed this is entirely too similar to, and arguably weaker than Cradily. I disagree, but I also have barely touched the meta.
Changes: -10 Atk, -5 SpA, +15 SpD, +Cotton Guard, +Storm Surge, No longer loses Mud Shot. This enables the possiblity of IronPress shenanigans, which can be combined with Amnesia. I was going to give it Acid armor instead of cotton guard, but Cotton Guard is more thematically on point.
Edit 2, Electric Boogaloo: -Storm Surge, because that's apparently a signature. +High Horsepower, +Poison Jab, + Giga Impact, +Focus Punch, giving these back since it's becoming a physical attacker again. +Grassy Glide, because why the hell not. Swapped a bunch of it's stats around, including it's offenses +30 Atk, -20 SpA, +5 Def, -15 SpD. I wanna lean more into the physical walling and attacking capabilities of the concept, and a little less into the special side both offensively and defensively after seeing Cradily in action. Also buffed GuardPress, though there is that weakness on the special side that remains an issue unless also running amnesia, which causes severe 4mss.

While Cradily remains as another Water/Grass option, hopefully Swampert-Ancient will be an alternative with it's own use cases due to the draining effect of leech seed to put opposing physical attackers on a timer, alongside it's strong ground coverage in earthquake. It has both Speed and Physical bulk as an advantage over Cradily, but with comparatively lacking offensive presence despite good coverage inherited from it's modern day counterpart alongside much more inconsistent recovery, it enables different options for the team builder while hopefully not outclassing it's fellow Water/Grass. (Also, this thing does not do great into most of the ghosts, poisons, dragons, and grasses without bringing the appropriate coverage, which it should already be struggling to afford.)

Alright so since sub period was supposed to be over but it ain't, ima do a sub review! Mind you this is all just my own thoughts, so take it how you wish. Ratings are based on how I personally feel about the mon, and my overall opinion on how the sub would impact the metagame. It is subjective and based on the aforementioned description.

:salazzle: :weavile: def add more filler moves, and it has an interesting dynamic where it does directly beat every mon faster than it. At first I was slightly underwhelmed but then I re-looked over the tier and this thing absolutely shreds. I don't believe it's broken but it could very well end up in that direction and have to lose plot

:bellibolt: :gastrodon: Yeah this thing is insane. Stupid levels of fat, good defensive typing, status, pivoting, hazards, I don't see a reason why you wouldn't use this thing and with how water heavy the tier is, the mon would become defensively overcentralizing I feel. Imo possibly remove WAbsorb, Flip Turn, or Lower bulk, or some combo of those things.

:salazzle::cobalion: I like it, unique and interesting mon with a really strong speed tier, unique typing and role, could end up being a lil underwhelming as it doesn't have much bulk or power, but aside from that its a very cool mon and I like it
4/10
9/10

:salazzle::charizard-mega-x: Do not the ability. Its fun flavor, but with a mon that can so easily burn things this is just irritating to play against. Aside from that, its a damn good DD sweeper, just gotta get it an opportunity to setup, then flare blitz, knock off, and (dragon stab??? this thing should probably learn outrage btw) should clear most things not named bastiodon once a team is weakened
:swampert::kabutops: just no. we already have a water/poison special attacking knocking regen pivot with hazard removal, please do not just directly put that thing out of a job for no reason, and even if we didn't this thing would be far too bulky for the tier. My advice is to look at the builder before you sub
6/10
-1/10 (Veto Likely)

:swampert::ninetales-alola: And here's another sub where the ability utterly ruins the sub for me. do NOT give this thing infinite hail and veil, on what is already a really good hail setter for the love of all things holy. The tier's fighting types can't even exploit this easily as the hail boost lets it tank any CC in the tier, and it ohkos all the best fightings right back. Maybe it'd be fine if it was just normal snow warning, even then it'd be a stretch this thing is nuts as a weather setter.

2/10 (Veto Likely)

:swampert::lanturn: Yeah no real complaints, it definetly does as advertised and is a fairly straight forward defensive piece. Very basic mon, and its another fat defensive water, which the tier has no shortage of, but it does a diff thing than the others so its aight. You pass the vibe check.
:bellibolt: :vespiquen: gross little freak that does as advertised. like the prior mon it is a very straight forward defensive mon but it makes use of an interesting typing to do so, and yeah we do lack in bugs. Boom, EP, Slack, and a status move of choice is as straightforward as it gets for a mon like this, I could see infestation sets working though. Cool mon.
7/10
8/10

:swampert::cradily: I know you already tried to change this to not directly compete with cradily, but it directly competes with cradily, I'd try to change it more to be more unique, you could change out the water typing, or just like do something to make it not have the same defensive profile as Cradily. You could lean more into the cottonpress thing you got going and make it a fighting type, you could make it grass/poison and lean into the residual damage niche, literally anything and it'd be a fine mon.

Sharing my own sub review because I have a lot of thoughts on y'alls mons, also I don't want to sleep. Maybe this is better to discuss in the discord rather than posting a second review in the thread but whatever. If there's anything major I don't mention it's because I agree with what Jrdyop said about the sub in their post.
:salazzle: Not sure about adding a third intimidater to the meta (technically fourth but I think Tyrantrum would generally prefer strong jaw), especially a fast one that competes a lot with Aerodactyl. No issues with the sub besides that, it really do be special Weavile.
:bellibolt: Kinda forgor what this sub was like before the Jrdyop review, but right now it's p good. From the sounds of it, this belli was initially more of a bulky pivot, which we already had Ground-type options for that via Armaldo and Brawlutra, so changing it to be more of a special wall definitely helps the mon establish its own identity.
:salazzle: Quite good sub. Surprisingly the meta doesn't have as many Steels as one would expect, and the only one I've heard have a competitive impact was Goldoco, so having a new Steel mon to play around with would be cool. Also the more Yizolt checks the better - just don't look at who subbed that mon okay? <3
:salazzle: There are some things in Pokemon that are inherently uncompetitive, and infatutation is one of those. Between the Jrdyop sub review and now Hot-Blooded was changed to burn infatuated targets instead of the other way around, which certainly makes it less irritating to face, but doesn't really fix those issues with infatuation. Even without the problematic custom abil, this sub has a lot of overlap with other mons in the meta. We already have not one, but two Fire/Dragon mons (Skeledirge and Dracomizer). At the very least this Salazzle is a fast and frail attacker unlike those two mons, but there are like, hundreds of type combos that aren't represented in Paleomons, okay? Use those, then sub a third Fire/Dragon! It's very similar to Heliolisk-Ancient too, being a fast physical fire with access to Fire Lash. If you don't change the typing at least make it a special mon to differentiate it from Heliolisk, Fire and Dragon are better offensive types on the special side anyways - do take Nasty Plot into account when moving stats around though. Lastly, uhh wtf is going on in the flavor section
:swampert: This sub is all around boring and bad. It's got an overlap issue like Salazzle but to an even more comical degree: not only do we already have a Water/Poison mon, we already have a Water/Poison Regenerator pivoting mon in Kabutops, one that is more interesting than this sub, which by the subber's own admission, mind you, was an idea from a different pet mod that was moved over to this mod with no regard for what is already present in the meta. Also I think the custom move was changed to no longer remove hazards? If so you're better off just removing it from the sub, literally an inferior option to Surf at the moment.
:swampert: Yeah uhh not sure if perma snow + veil in a meta with no other weather setters is a good idea. While do think this sub is salvageable, I don't have a very good idea on how. Like maybe you could replace its custom with Thick Fat and make it a defensive version of Mamoswine?
:swampert: Unsure about this guy because while I do see the vision and think it can function, it competes with a lot of mons at once: like osp's salazzle it's a fast intim mon to butt heads with aero, and we already have a decent selection of non-frail, offensive waters or psychics - kabutops, conk, eleffigy, etc. The sub isn't bad but I'm not particularly interested in it; will vote first place for it anyways since the other swampert subs are worse LMAO
:bellibolt: Should probably remove Electro Shot from this guy. Not because I think it would be particularly overpowered - STAB electro shot would indeed hit like a truck but this mon isn't as much of a beefcake as Archaludon - but because its existence would disincentivize people from adding rain to the meta, and thus Servachne from ever cooking. Probably would be healthier for council to rework serv, but I say better safe than sorry since belli can function without electro shot. I do have a few other minor issues with this sub: Prankster Glare is a little eyebrow-raising and I don't really get the point of Game Hunter in this mon's kit. Shock Repeater I really like though, pet modders should experiment more with the glaive rush drawback.
:salazzle: Wrote this off at first bc it would be yet another fairy mon, but putting that bias aside (thanks gourg gang), this sub isn't half bad: The fairy type is actually pretty important so that it doesn't get completely fucked over by unga and it's otherwise a good specs mon.
:swampert: Wow whoever made these subs must be very cool and attractive
:bellibolt: You should vote for these guys
:swampert: VERY funny that the similarities between this mon and Cradily were pointed out and the initial response was to make it even more like crad by giving its sig and more Spdef. Anyways, changing this mon to be more offensive with CottonPress is a good direction, but it's going to be a hard sell just by virtue of there already being a Water/Grass mon. Custom abil is fine, I thought it would be problematic but only now do I realize that it's a more conditional Vaporemons seed sower (I LOVE VAPEMONS)

Thick Skull: This Pokemon's Head moves deal 1.2x damage and don't make contact.

Stats: 100 / 110 / 90 / 90 / 60 / 85 [535 BST]

New Moves: Calm Mind, Head Smash, Iron Head, Psychic, Psyshield Bash, Psyshock, Wave Crash, Zen Headbutt
Removed Moves: Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, High Horsepower, Mud Bomb, Mud Shot, Mud-Slap, Mud Sport, Sand Tomb
Head Charge, Head Smash, Headbutt, Headlong Rush, Iron Head, Psyshield Bash, Skull Bash, Zen Headbutt
Role: Physical Scarfer with good STABs in Wave Crash and Thick Skull-boosted Zen Headbutt, as well as a shockingly deep coverage movepool (Superpower for Lapras, Head Smash for Arctobyss, etc.). Mainly carried by being able to threaten out mons like Archeops, Crobat, and Alticombat, so expect it to be used as more of an anti-offense tool than a wallbreaker. That being said, Calm Mind sets aren't the worst idea either.
Flavor: Based on lobe-finned fish like the coelacanth, actual ancestors of the lungfish Swampert is based on. Lobe-finned fish are also bony fish, hence the custom ability.

New Moves: Bite, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Feint Attack, Magnet Rise, Magnetic Flux, Nasty Plot, Rapid Spin, Taunt, Torment
Removed Moves: N/A

Role: This mon fills a double role in the current meta, providing another Spinner that threatens Ghosts (and this one, unlike Carracosta, isn't afraid to tank a Wisp from Aerodactyl), as well as providing more defensive counterplay for Swishivish, being the first mon in the meta to resist both of its STABs. Not only that, but in this case Bellibolt is also fully immune to both Fishious Rend and Paralysis from Body Slam, making it the premier Swishivish switchin in the current meta.
Flavor: So I recently learned of an ancient frog genus known as "Beelzebufo". That name is insanely cool, so I wanted to incorporate the frog into one of these subs, and Bellibolt ended up being the best fit. Bellibolt-Twisted is an ancient form of Bellibolt that generated electricity by rotating its belly magnet rapidly, which it used to stun its prey before swallowing them whole. Bellibolt-Twisted were also known to release excess electricity by shocking other Pokemon, seemingly for no reason but to watch them suffer.

also 24 hour warning for submissions!

This mon is way too strong right now. It outspeeds nearly the entire unboosted meta and NP/STABs/Freeze-Dry sets are entirely unwallable outside of Carracosta. I recommend lowering one of its offensive stats and probably also removing one of NP or FD.

I appreciate the idea, but this is too much. Either lower the bulk or remove Water Absorb.

Flavor: Disclaimer, I was saving this for a Chinese iteration of the Gen X Pet mod. Might as well modify some stuff and use it here.
- Riptide: Water | Special | 60BP | -% | 32PP | Base Power increases by 50% if entry hazards are on the field |
This completely overlaps with Kabutops and its signature move will never be run, so for both of those reasons it is vetoed. You can try changing it if you want, but I'm unsure how this sub could be salvaged.

This is too strong offensively, mainly because of its speed tier. Please lower its Speed by at least 15 points.
Also this isn't a veto, but can you please clarify what Game Hunter's effect is? Its current description is confusingly written.

This mon does too much at once. Either remove Recover or reshuffle its stats to make it more clearly a physical wall (honestly, I recommend doing the latter either way, because it sounds like most of the mons you want it to beat are physical and its physbulk is kinda low for that).

Name: Swampert-Ancient
Original Pokémon: Swampert
Typing: Water/Grass
Abilities: Torrent, Seedy Shell (Contact Moves set Leech Seed on the attacker, not signature if there's any desire to distribute this.)

New Moves: Absorb, Cotton Guard, Frenzy Plant, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Grass Pledge, Grassy Glide, Ingrain, Leaf Storm, Magical Leaf, Power Whip, Seed Bomb, Solar Beam, Stun Spore, Synthesis
Removed Moves: Rock Smash, Hammer Arm, Bulldoze, Dig, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, Outrage, Sand Tomb, Smack Down, High Horsepower, Hard Press.
This mon's bulk is too high and it's also far too similar to Cradily. Its ability doesn't make it stand out because Cradily also runs Leech Seed quite often, so you'll probably have to change its typing or stat spread completely if you really want to differentiate it.

You will have 24 hours to make any necessary changes, and then voting will open!

Alright, the veto phase is now over, and voting can begin. Dragonslayerz's Swampert remains vetoed and cannot be voted for. The voting rules are as follows:
  • Each Pokémon will be voted for separately.
  • There is no limit on the amount of submissions you can vote for. First Place will count for 3 points, Second Place for 2, and all others will count for 1 point. If you only vote for two submissions in a category, First Place will count for 2 points and Second Place will count for 1 point. If you only vote for one submission in a category, that vote will only count for 1 point.
  • Self-Votes may not be First Place and have a limit of 6 points total.
Swampert: First Place, Second Place, Third Place
Bellibolt: First Place, Second Place
Salazzle: First Place, Second Place, Third Place, Fourth Place, Fifth Place
Voting will last for 48 hours.

Voting is over! Here's our winners.

wow yall really hate swishivish huh. I'm gonna give y'all 24 hours to discuss winners, and then Slate 12 will begin.

oh shit also, we have a mini balance patch to announce!

:dracozolt:Yizolt
75 / 95 / 60 / 95 / 95 / 113 --> 75 / 95 / 60 / 85 / 95 / 113

Yizolt's Specs sets are ridiculously strong, pivoting around teams with ease and nuking checks with Flamethrower coverage. When you consider that physical sets also exist and were the main focus of the original sub, a Special Attack nerf is very justified.

:crobat:Crobat-Ancient
-Sludge Bomb, Venoshock

Crobat-Ancient is an extremely strong offensive pivot, outspeeding the entire tier and crushing walls with its perfect Dark/Ground/Poison coverage. Considering the litany of other positive traits Crobat possesses, council feels that opening up counterplay options like Gourgeist-Ancient and Yizolt would be beneficial for the meta. If you really still want to beat Fairies and Grasses, you can run Cross Poison, but it'll be a lot weaker coming off an uninvested base 70 Attack stat.
