Gastrodon makes for a great Electric-immune teammate for Water teams thanks to its great utility options, special bulk, and defensive typing, which allows for Gastrodon to take on Choice Specs Zapdos. Clear Smog allows Gastrodon to negate setup attempts from sweepers such as Dragonite, Kommo-o, and Tapu Fini, while Ice Beam provides coverage against Dragon-types such as Dragonite and Hydreigon. Earthquake deals with Steel-types such as Hisuian Goodra and Gholdengo, whereas Toxic can be run to put switch-ins like Mantine and Rotom-W on a timer. Sticky Hold prevents Gastrodon from obtaining an unwanted Choice item from Hisuian Zoroark and Blacephalon by Trick. Toxapex forms a great defensive core with Gastrodon, as it is able to handle Grass-types such as Tapu Bulu, Ogerpon-W, and Meowscarada and stack hazards with Toxic Spikes. Empoleon makes for another great defensive partner, as not only can it set up Stealth Rock, but it also walls and takes on the likes of Kyurem and Alolan Ninetales. Ogerpon-W appreciates Gastrodon taking on Poison-types such as Sneasler and Alolan Muk, and in return, it aids in the Water mirror matchup, taking on the likes of Urshifu-R and Mega Swampert. Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Greninja and Choice Band Urshifu-R appreciate Gastrodon placing Spikes and inflicting poison on foes so that they can more easily wallbreak against foes like Alolan Muk and Porygon2, respectively.

- We can change the examples of toxic targets, neither of them would ever want to hard switch against a gastrodon due to a potential scald burn. You can add like Mantine and like Mega Charizard Y.
- You can also mention how Empoleon and Pelipper providing pivoting for Gastrodon. Furthermore, mention Peli having hazard removal if Gastro is not running HDB.
- ADD a "Choice Band" infront of Urshifu-R where you said: "Wallbreakers like Choice Specs Greninja and Urshifu-R..."

Gastrodon makes for a great addition for Water teams thanks to its great utility options, physical special bulk, and defensive typing, including a crucial immunity to Electric (this is the main reason why. Its meant to protect you from Choice Specs Zapdos, or at least live a hit from Thundurus-T or Alolan Raichu). Clear Smog allows Gastrodon to negate set up attempts from sweepers it walls such as Dragonite and Tapu Fini (or even Kommo-o or Z-Victini) Roaring Moon, while Ice Beam provides coverage against Dragon- and Flying-types such as Mantine (? What? Dragonite and breaking Hydreigon's sub is oki tho) and Mega Charizard Y (Will have Solarbeam). With Toxic, Gastrodon puts switch-ins like Meowscarada and Ogerpon-C (? Wouldnt just hitting Meow with the Ice beam just be better though....Mantine is a valid target here though, as well as Rotom-W)on a timer, while Earthquake deals with Steel-types such as Hisuian Goodra and Gholdengo. (mention sticky hold somewhere)Toxapex forms a great defensive core with Gastrodon, as it is able to handle Grass-types such as Tapu Bulu and Meowscarada and stack hazards with Toxic Spikes. Empoleon makes for another great defensive partner, as not only can it set up Stealth Rock, but it also walls and takes on the likes of Kyurem and Alolan Ninetales, while Pelipper eases the Ground matchup thanks to its immunity, removes entry hazards with Defog when Gastrodon doesn't use Heavy-Duty Boots, and deals with Grass-types. (Peli is for rain, and rain doesnt like a momentum sink. Remove all pelipper mentions) Additionally, both Empoleon and Pelipper can pivot Gastrodon in. In return, Pelipper appreciates Gastrodon providing an Electric immunity. When using Pelipper, Barraskewda can be used as a late-game cleaner that appreciates Gastrodon's Spikes and status spreading to more easily clean through frail threats such as Iron Valiant and Sneasler. Ogerpon-W appreciates Gastrodon taking on Poison-types such as Sneasler and Alolan Muk, and in return, it aids in the Water mirror matchup, taking on the likes of Urshifu-R and Mega Swampert. Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Greninja and Choice Band Urshifu-R appreciate Gastrodon placing Spikes and inflicting poison on foes so that they can wallbreak against the likes of Slowbro and Porygon2, respectively, more easily.

There seems to be a misunderstanding, as the set seems like the one Ground would use instead of water, can you implement these changes first then I'll recheck it? Thank you captain :blobnom:
