1v1 Urshifu-Rapid-Strike (Choice band) [QC 2/2] [GP 1/1]

[SET]
Choice Band (Urshifu-Rapid-Strike) @ Choice Band
Ability: Unseen Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- Iron Head
- Poison Jab / Thunder Punch

[SET COMMENTS]
* Surging Strikes deals with Landorus-T, Skeledirge, and Volcarona.
* Close Combat targets Assault Vest Urshifu-S, non-Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, non-Choice Scarf Kyurem, and Registeel.
* Iron Head is for non-Life Orb Alolan Ninetales, since Urshifu-R can get past Encore + Disable variants by ignoring Protect.
* Poison Jab is for Whimsicott and non-bulky Primarina.
* Thunder Punch 2HKOes opposing Urshifu-R without having to drop Urshifu-R's Defense with Close Combat.
* Against Ursaluna and Ursaluna-B, Surging Strikes is the best option, since both can carry Chople Berry.
* Since Urshifu-R struggles against Psychic- and Fairy-type Pokemon like Metagross, Iron Crown, and Iron Valiant, Pokemon such as Meowscarada, Volcanion, and Volcarona make for good teammates.

, Ursaluna and Ursaluna-B. (you mention these later so not much of a point to include them here.)
Assault Vest Urshifu (be specific of what Urshifu forme it is. in proper Smogon grammar, Urshifu Single Strike is referred to as Urshifu-S.)
* Poison Jab is for Whimsicott and it is good against Custap pokemon such as Custap Primarina and Custap sylveon because Poison Jab has a chance for poisoning. (this is a weird point in general, Poison Jab generally does indeed help against Whimsicott and non-bulky Primarina but, i shouldn't be the one to tell this, Custap Berry Primarina is bulked to live a Poison Jab from both Urshifu formes, also Sylveon is generally a weird mention since 1) Surging Strikes does more damage than Poison Jab and 2) while the poison effect is good if they Endure, it's still a bit shaky since Sylveon can still bulk your attacks. and also, 252+ Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Poison Jab vs. 80 HP / 200 Def Sylveon: 314-370 (89.4 - 105.4%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO.)
* Thunder Punch is for manaphy. (Manaphy can always be faster and 2HKO you with Alluring Voice or Energy Ball, this isn't a good mention, what Thunder Punch is actually useful for (i can't believe i had to ask qc chat this) is the Urshifu-R mirror, where you don't want to risk the Defense drop from Close Combat putting you in OHKO range so you can carry Thunder Punch.)
* Against Chople Berry Hisuian-Goodra, using Surging Strikes and hoping for Draco Meteor miss is the best answer for dealing with it. (you already say you don't beat Chople Berry Hisuian Goodra, so i think saying like you have to pray for the Draco Meteor miss is kinda weird, what you can mention instead is that you can play the mindgame with Close Combat, Counter and Surging Strikes, which is something a bit more interesting in my opinion.)
i'd like to take another look before stamping.

since both Ursaluna and Ursaluna-B usually use Chople Berry. (replace "usually use" with "can carry" since it's not that common for them to carry Chople Berry.)

* Close Combat is for non-Chople berry Hisuian-Goodra,
I wouldn't recommend using Goodra as an example here, since both Chople and Custap can be problematic for this set and you have enough examples.

* Iron Head is for non-Life Orb Alolan Ninetales.
This isn't necessary, but you can add a short note here about how Urshifu can get past Encore Disable since it ignores Protect due to its ability.

* Surging Strikes is for deals with (vary your verb usage for future analyses) Landorus-T, Skeledirge, (AC, serial comma is required) and Volcarona.
* Close Combat is for targets Assault Vest Urshifu-S, non-Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, non-Choice Scarf Kyurem, (AC) and Registeel.
* Iron Head is for non-Life Orb Alolan Ninetales, (AC) since Urshifu-R can get past Encore + Disable (plus sign, move combination) variants because of its ability Unseen Fist which ignores protect (dex info) by ignoring Protect.
* Poison Jab is for Whimsicott and non-bulky Primarina.
* Thunder Punch is for Urshifu-R mirror mus which allows your Urshifu-R to two hit KOs the opponent's 2HKOes opposing Urshifu-R without having the risk of to drop Urshifu-R's Defense drop from with Close Combat.
* Against Ursaluna and Ursaluna-B, Surging Strikes is the best option, (AC) to click since both Ursaluna and Ursaluna-B can carry Chople Berry.
* Since Urshifu-Rapid-Strike struggles against Psychic- and Fairy-type Pokemon like Metagross, Iron Crown, (AC) and Iron Valiant, Pokemon such as Meowscarada, Volcanion, (AC) and Volcarona make a for good teammates.
