We are KyuBACK gamers! SV OU is saved!

Hello OU discussion group. I was upset after seeing my baby, Gouging Fire, banned & now you want to get rid of my favorite pokemon, Kyurem? Thats sad. I will try my very best to explain why Kyurem is balanced & healthy.

1 - Kyurem has a bad typing; it is weak to rock, fighting, steel, dragon & fairy. Being weak to stealth rocks & being weak to three of the strongest offensive typing (Fighting, fairy & dragon) makes it difficult to use & decreases it longevity.

2- While Kyurem has a base stat of 130 attack & 130 special attack, this also means the developers decided not to invest in its defense & special defense. Having a middling base stat of 90 defense & 90 special defense makes it susceptible to being OHKOed by close combat from Great Tusk, Outrage Roaring Moon, Draco Meteor Raging Bolt, Make It Rain Gholdengo & more.

3- While Kyurem has a surprisingly high base stat of 125 HP, this is nothing compared to Blissey’s & Eviolite Chansey’s disgusting 500 & 255 HP respectively. Both Blissey & Chansey are unviable in OU. Therefore, Kyurem should not be a problem in OU. If OU can handle Chansey & Blissey, then surely they can handle Kyurem.

4- If we ban Kyurem, Gliscor will be in 100% of the teams. Gliscor is more annoying & problematic than Kyurem. Ask yourself, would you rather have OU infested with Kyurem in 20% of the teams or infested with Gliscor in 100% of the teams.

5- Lastly, Kyurem is a dragon type. Dragons are cool.

Thank you for reading & hopefully now you see why Kyurem must not be banned!
Glad I was able to influence the voters & Finch himself.

And ZapKingLu will never return again!
It was never at risk of being an issue. How many times does it have to be repeated.

If it somehow ends up suspected a third time, you know what to do then...
That's extremely unlikely to just about not happening. As far as I know, it's unheard of to do three suspects on the same subject, as at that point you're just trying to brute force the result you want until it happens.

Wow. That's crazy. Gen 9 is so scuffed. Regardless of what you think of the decision, for it to happen this way isn't great. We have a mon that had a close decision twice. Now we find out cheaters were involved in the latest decision? That sucks. It's good they were caught. But it sucks that this was a thing or that it played out this way. Like, I had already moved on by now.

As for my personal opinion, I was glad it was gone. The first time, I was very neutral about Kyurem. But as it began to abuse more sets, and DD sets started to be more or more than just pure physical, I felt it was too much for the builder and scouting in game.

Kyurem being gone already seemed like a much better metagame to me. With it returning, that completely changes a lot of the new cool things we were able to do with it gone. I'm kinda not happy about all the stuff I have to scrap now.

It has happened though... SS OU aegislash got suspected twice, didn't get banned, got suspected again then banned

If something remains controversial it will be revisited in how ever long from now but we shall see what will happen next.

Pathetic behaviour by whoever thought rigging a suspect vote was justifiable in any way, shape, or form, and for all those who cooperated with said person. To think that this occurred throughout multiple suspects as well. It would have been terrible if it had meaningfully impacted the result of several suspect tests.

I didn't appreciate Kyurem's presence in OU, but I'm glad that this shameless fraud has been exposed and the result overturned. I just hope nothing of the sort will happen again ; I rly dunno which systems could be put in place to make that kind of tampering incredibly difficult to pull off.

Well, a number of top players were saying during the Kyurem suspect it was Kingambit and Gliscor who were broken, so maybe you guys who hate Kingambit might finally get that second Kingambit suspect you've been hoping for since the issue of threat saturation is still here, and Kyurem won't be on the table again for months.

I wonder, is this the first time it happened? Or the first time something like this got caught?

Seams easy enough to do, just be good and have good friends, or better yet, alts.

I really hope this is the only time someone tried something like this, but why on this suspect? Why kyurem? Imagine if he, or other people have been doing this for other suspect tests, i wonder i they would roll back older band if this happened to be the case.

Or maybe im looking way too deep into this.
