[SET]
IronPress (Urshifu-Rapid-Strike) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unseen Fist
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Surging Strikes
- Taunt

[SET COMMENTS]
* The IronPress combination allows Urshifu-R to wall Pokemon it otherwise wouldn't be able to handle, like Metagross, while also dealing with common physical stalwarts like Ursaluna and Registeel.
* Surging Strikes hits Volcarona, Landorus-T, and Rhyperior.
* Taunt can be used to prevent foes like Registeel and non-Brave Bird Corviknight from setting up or using recovery moves.
* Sitrus Berry allows Urshifu-R to usually survive two Psychic Fangs from Choice Band Metagross after an Iron Defense boost so it can respond with two +2 Body Press in return.
* Urshifu-R can struggle with Grass- and Electric-type Pokemon like Ogerpon-W and Zapdos, and as a result, partners like Regidrago and Raging Bolt are recommended.
* Urshifu-R can struggle against special attackers like Spectrier and Porygon-Z due to its poor Special Defense, so Pokemon like Hisuian Goodra and Assault Vest Ursaluna can make for good partners.

while also dealing with common physical stallions like Great Tusk and Registeel.
I know this isn't necessarily my realm to critique, but stallion? Did you mean something like "Stalwart"? Idk why but its use here makes me uncomfortable lol

Only other thing is I would add another line about generally struggling with Special attackers, due to Urshifu's naturally low Spdef and this set having 0 spdef investment, stuff like Spectrier and Scarf PZ

QC 1/2 when implemented

am check, these are nitpicks so feel free to not implement them
while also dealing with common physical stalwarts like Great Tusk

in most great tusk matchups you want to be surging twice anyway, you technically risk 1 extra crit in most cases by going to ID (scarf has to CC for a 2hko of which you surging KO). custap can technically outplay you, but t1 headlong is v unfavorable for them, and even 1 hp custap reversal cannot kill you
edit I forgot custap is slower than u. this is the only mu where t1 id is most optimal

regardless ursaluna is probably better as a mention, cos cb giga impact can still roll you if you dont id t1 which is part of the advantage this ursh has over other sets

* Surging Strikes hits Skeledirge,

skeledirge is a potentially sus mu, you will want to taunt t1 so you dont get wisped, but then surging can put it into custap dirge range because you cant KO with these evs, which means it can torch song and blast burn you in blaze for a KO if you high roll surging past custap range (approx a 70% of happening). (also if the skele pilot goes god mode and torch songs your taunt youve lost, but that is not real)

* Urshifu-R can also struggle against special attackers like Spectrier and Porygon-Z due to its poor Special Defense, so Pokemon like Hisuian Goodra can also make for good partners.

if the reader slaps on urshifu-r/regidrago/hisuian goodra on a team, they're gonna get 3-0d by wp sylveon or some god azumarill or something. maybe add an assault vest pokemon here? (that doesn't lose to spect, only one thats coming to mind is av ursa)

this was well written tho so gj
