This is great and honestly I’d love to work with you if the opportunity arises but obviously actions count too so will see how your general acts, but I appreciate your commitment not to work with turkey.

Austria that shares land obtained with 3 countries is not as strong as Russia that shares with 1.

i have to manage relations with england, germany, you, and turkey, and i was about to get ganged up on by 3 of them

Russia is more scary at this moment for me due to their positioning.
plans cancelled im pretty sure Rum-Gal-War is a better defensive line than an offensive one, so I hope italy, turkey, and Austria can settle things on their own.
DBD, I really want to move forward with you as an ally, so I want to know why you seem to be so interested in allying austria. Is it that you’re avoiding a stab from france?

Austria ally helps me not worry about any potential R-T conflict in the future as well as stop a juggernaut, so both R-T scenarios are equally covered

both of those feel weak when looking at the board state. I cannot break turkey, or gain any significant territory in turkey anytime in the near future, especially since they’ve gotten BLA. And while RT is a alliance that could make sense, if it existed id have ordered my general to straight up attack austria.
Obviously, if I move into a position that threatens you more (ex: taking austrian land for myself) feel free to ally with them, but right now, it’s them who are in a ridiculously good position in the game with Bud being extremely well defended, and them seeming to be friendly with Italy, which has a pretty good chance of leading to turkey falling via the Mediterranean if this diplomacy strategy book is right

HydrogenHydreigon I have no idea what my general plans w/ my fleets but perhaps we can work out a way for me to help in the seas up north?
Yea I think turkey basically has 2 options here:
Either Support or be Supported into Ser w/ Russia's help OR tap Gre and bounce the fleet. Unsure which is more valuable for them atp
