This post contains an undisclosed ad for Stake, a gambling platform. Promoting gambling sites probably goes against Smogon's Terms of Service somehow but I'm too lazy to check for the sake of this joke.

Not just a tera blast suspect, but lots of things could drop from ubers as a result of this.

Everyone who pitches in gets to decide as a collective what may happen to my understanding.

I'd be curious about the analytics here. Two suspects? That's a million reaction score. Is there even that much total reaction score lol?
How many active OU forum users are there, what is their average reaction score amount? I truly don't think the math is there.
We may, somehow, get a single suspect with a lot of community work, but I would be surprised.

Here, from the Likeshop thread :

An OU suspect test of your choice - 500,000 likes (quantity available: the 1)
Can be pooled among as many users as needed to hit 500k. Suspect must be within reasonable tiering practices — i.e: no complex bans — and on something topically relevant in the metagame. Must be approved by Finchinator and Ruft, we can provide a list of reasonable options if necessary. Will be launched at the conclusion of the badgeshop, or one week after an ongoing suspect ends, if applicable

And here's what Finchinator said about how the target for the suspect will be decided :

They don’t need to be together. It’s a collective like total. Then, people who contribute will decide.

In other words, it is as you said. There'll prolly be a pool of options pre-selected by the contributors themselves and then it should be a relative majority vote among the pool of contributors (1 vote per participant, I'd imagine).

The 500,000 likes tally is gonna be hard to attain but, depending on participation and how many people would be willing to start/keep posting on Smogon (in a semi-constructive manner obv) to earn the likes they need, it is doable. At least I wanna believe it is possible to reach

I think there should be a thread with all the proposals and the supporters + likes each currently has.

That being said, I oppose Tera Blast Suspect, but oppose even more Palafin retest, so for now supporting the first campaign, but very open to something better, as long as it has actual chance to succeed.

If you want my SERIOUS opinions though honestly?i dont think anyones getting suspected, this is not a “ohhh its just so unrealistic” cuz it probably IS a possibility.. It would just take a Lot of botting in these next 11 days, the community actually deciding on something and to even GET something banned?Actual suspects too

I would love to see ANY change though to be fair, while i still do have fun with this tier at times right now i would love a bit of change

ok so can we clarify: are all the likes for "ou suspect test" being pooled together regardless of what suspect people are aiming for and we figure out what the suspect is later, or is each of them a separate pool? because i'm a little confused
