Can we... Are we being fr here. So drain punch does something called healing palafin for 6.6% minum waterfall does 12 cap. I uhm. How is this actually a point?

This is the weaker, 100 base SpA form. Sure, you won't bring it in directly, but by god does this fucker know Rest and hit Hard uninvested. It will force Gholdengo out, it will Defog, and it will Stall. I love Giratina, it's my second fave of the series behind Bisharp, but by god is it Ubers. If you wanna be a dick, it can run Sleep Talk so you can just rest back whatevers been lost, though that does mean you only run Shadow Ball since I wouldn't not run defog on one of the few mons capable of doing so while forcing the Golden Cheese Stick out.

I've been away for a long time because of work. Now that im playing again the people on the OU ladder just seem... angry. There's been so many games where people are losing their minds, seething, throwing every non ban-able curse word at me, even when in most cases, theyre winning? what the hell is going on. And why the hell are people calling me lil-bro im 24. yeah misses and crits can be frustrating but its rng thats just how the game works if you dont like it, play something else. I've been reading some discussions about Palafin, and I’d like to share my thoughts on the current OU meta post-Gliscor suspect.
Some people find the current tier a bit repetitive and believe it hasn’t really solved the issue of threat centralization. However, I think the meta is still evolving. "New" Broken Pokémon are beginning to take over from the usual ones, and based on ladder and tournament trends, the meta seems to reward the ability to fish for matchups in the builder. Whether this is a positive or negative depends on your perspective.
I believe the next few months will be critical for shaping the direction of the meta. With SPL and OST on the horizon, we can expect an acceleration in meta development, as well as increased activity at the top of the ladder.
What I personally dislike about the current discussion (and the hype around Palafin) is that, even though there are ways to slow down its setup, it forces the use of already-centralizing Pokémon like Ogerpon, Bolt, and Kyurem etc to check it. While it can serve as a way to punish some Pokémon, it’s undeniable that Palafin is a significant threat you have to account for in teambuilding. I don’t see this as a particularly positive change for OU, especially considering we’ve banned Pokémon like Volcarona for much less. So my question is: do we really think that potentially Palafin is what we need to help SV shape into the right direction? I don't think so, but at least in the current moment of the meta. I'd like to see more detailed pro-Palafin arguments in case there is a significative support.

Solgaleo, while probably still overtuned for OU, would make for a much healthier suspect than unga boonga Palafin that shits on everything slower since it doesn't have the insane nuking ability Palafin does and can't do the Taunt Bulk up self-sustaining shit Palafin can do. The only thing a Palafin drop would do is contribute to the elimination of bulkier styles in SV OU, which is not a good thing.
As such, I will not contribute to the 500K total for an SV OU suspect as Palafin with Tera legal is an incredibly dumb mon. Without Tera, Palafin would be a fair mon, but with Tera, it is straight up a broken mon and one of the worst drops OU could get, and thus, I am adamant that this test must not happen as it could set back tiering action for months if not the entire generation if it is freed.

These are the most egregious ones imo, but I just want to point out one. Calyrex-Ice? You think Calyrex-Ice would be better for the meta than Palafin? Caly-I the top-tier Uber? He WILL Trick Room and sweep you

This would not be a real set as it's much weaker than Kyurem while not having Pult's advantage of very high speed, better coverage, U-Turn, and either Infiltrator for Substitute users or Clear Body for Webs.
Giratina-Altered would also be bad for the meta as Great Tusk isn't ever spinning with this fat pig around. It would centralize the meta even more around hazards and hazard control.

i haven't exactly been having fun with specs kyurem 1.0 but this wouldn't exactly be competition. it's more "slow fat specs dragapult", the damage output isn't exactly crazy
