Pecharunt's insanely high Defense, Ghost typing, and wide movepool make it a an excellent defensive pivot and support Pokemon for offensive teams. Malignant Chain is a powerful STAB move that, more importantly, can spread status, which Pecharunt can take advantage of with Hex. Shadow Ball is an alternative option for a Ghost-type STAB move that is more consistent than Hex and can deal more damage to Pokemon immune to poison like Gholdengo and Galarian Slowking, at the cost of losing the bonus damage with Malignant Chain. Parting Shot keeps up momentum for the team and is a great way to safely pivot on setup sweepers like Kyurem and Iron Valiant, among others, by cutting down their attacking stats. Heavy-Duty Boots is a solid item choice to block residual damage from entry hazards that Pecharunt would have otherwise been susceptible to as it pivots in and out, but Air Balloon is a good alternative to mitigate Pecharunt's Ground weakness and give its team another Pokemon immune to Ground, which is especially helpful for taking on Great Tusk. Tera Ghost can boost the power of Hex to secure an OHKO on statused targets like Dragapult and removes Pecharunt's Ground weakness while keeping its ability to block Rapid Spin, which is very helpful against Great Tusk and Iron Treads. Tera Dark completely changes all of Pecharunt's weaknesses, including giving it a Psychic- immunity, giving it the opportunity to heal or get off a surprising Malignant Chain in front of foes like Deoxys-S. Pecharunt can benefit greatly from two distinct EV spreads, with one maximizing Speed and the other Defense. A Timid nature with 252 Speed EVs ensure that Pecharunt is fast enough to outspeed Great Tusk and Gholdengo, whereas just 28 Speed EVs let it outspeed Jolly Kingambit, and putting the rest of the EVs in Defense and the Bold nature allow it to take more hits from the likes of Great Tusk and Ogerpon-W.

The support provided by Pecharunt's ability to spread status and pivot to gain momentum makes it an excellent teammate for offensive teams. Pecharunt forms solid cores with Dark-type Pokemon, such as Kingambit, Hisuian Samurott, Roaring Moon, and even Darkrai; these Dark-type spam teams are extremely weak to Zamazenta, which Pecharunt can completely wall, and Iron Valiant, which Pecharunt can switch in on and threaten with Malignant Chain. On the other hand, these exact same Dark-types are threats to Pecharunt itself; having Zamazenta and Iron Valiant as teammates can help deal with them. Pecharunt's Ghost typing allows it to block Rapid Spin from opposing Great Tusk and Iron Treads, providing support for teammates like Hisuian Samurott to spread their entry hazards and keep them up throughout the game. Bulky Ground-types like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Ting-Lu also synergize well with Pecharunt, taking advantage of its ability to block Rapid Spin to spread entry hazards of their own, and they help deal with Iron Moth, which is otherwise able to set up on Pecharunt quite easily. Pecharunt can also remove Toxic Spikes from the field, clearing the path for setup sweepers without Heavy-Duty Boots, such as Booster Energy Iron Valiant and Leftovers Zamazenta. Pecharunt struggles against some of the special attackers in the tier that can outspeed and prevent it from making any progress, such as Darkrai and Choice Scarf Gholdengo. Having powerful teammates like Iron Valiant and Kingambit can provide much needed offensive support while also taking advantage of Pecharunt's Parting Shot to switch in on foes and set up safely. Landorus-T and Iron Treads can threaten Pecharunt significantly with their Ground-type attacks, and Gliscor can use Swords Dance to outpace the damage Pecharunt could do with Hex. Running Air Balloon, having a Ground-immune teammate like Landorus-T, or pivoting to a teammate like Kyurem or Ogerpon-W, can cover for this weakness and allow it to turn the matchup around in it favor. Pecharunt is also almost completely walled by Kingambit; Zamazenta and Great Tusk are great teammates to check Kingambit, and they can both be brought in safely with Parting Shot.

Pecharunt's insanely high Defense stat, useful typing, and varied movepool make it a an excellent defensive pivot and support Pokemon for balanced teams. Malignant Chain is a powerful STAB move that, more importantly, has an incredibly high chance to badly poison and confuse, which Pecharunt can take advantage of with the bonus damage against statused opponents from Hex. Shadow Ball is an alternative option for a Ghost-type STAB move that is more consistent than Hex, at the cost of losing the status combo allows pecharunt to not be sat on by gking and bulky gholdengo, outdamaging regen and recover. Parting Shot is not only a great pivoting move to keep up momentum for your team, but also a great way to slow down setup sweepers add examples and other threats by cutting down their attacking stats. Heavy-Duty Boots is a solid item choice to block residual damage from entry hazards that would have otherwise worn Pecharunt down as it pivots in and out, but Air Balloon is a good alternative to mitigate Pecharunt's Ground- weakness and give your team an extra Earthquake immunity. Ghost-type Tera can boost the power of Hex to secure a KO, while Dark-type completely changes all of Pecharunt's weaknesses, including giving it a Psychic- immunity. Mono ghost is notably the ideal type for a spinblocker, add more details for both teras. Pecharunt can benefit greatly from two distinct EV spreads, one maximizing Speed and the other Defense. Making Pecharunt Timid with 252 Speed EVs ensures that it's fast enough to outspeed Great Tusk and Gholdengo, whereas making it Bold and giving it just 28 Speed EVs to outspeed Jolly Kingambit, putting the rest in Defense, allows it to take more hits from the likes of Kingambit and Great Tusk.

The support provided by Pecharunt's ability to spread status and pivot to gain momentum makes it an excellent teammate for balance teams. Pecharunt forms solid cores with other defensive Pokemon with pivoting moves, such as Corviknight and Alomamola. Together, these three can pivot between each other with Parting Shot, U-turn, and Flip Turn respectively and cover for each others weaknesses, such as Corviknight evading Headlong Rushes and Earth Powers, and Assault Vest Alomamola tanking Shadow Balls and Dark Pulses. Pecharunt's Ghost-typing allows it to block Rapid Spin from opposing Great Tusk and Iron Treads, providing support for teammates like Ribombee and Hisuian Samurott to spread their entry hazards and keep them up throughout the game. Pecharunt is also helpful as a Poison-type that can remove Toxic Spikes from the field, clearing the path for sweeper teammates without Heavy-Duty Boots, such as Booster Energy Iron Valiant and Leftovers Zamazenta. Pecharunt struggles against some of the Special Attackers in the tier that can outspeed Pecharunt and prevent it from making any progress, such as Darkrai and Choice Scarf Gholdengo. The aforementioned Assault Vest Alomamola can help take some of these hits, but having powerful teammates like Iron Valiant and Kingambit can provide much needed offensive support, taking advantage of Pecharunt's Parting Shot to switch in and threaten the opponent safely. Landorus-Therian and Iron Treads can also threaten Pecharunt significantly with Earth Power, and Gliscor can use Swords Dance to outpace the damage Pecharunt could do with Hex. Running Air Balloon or Corviknight for a Ground- immunity can cover for this, but having the ability to pivot to a teammate like Kyurem can allow you to turn the matchup around in your favor.

teammates section in general needs a rework but i don't feel like doing it and don't need to (perks of amchecking), but this is missing major partners like gambit, tusk, lando, ting, and others while some of the partners listed aren't really used alongside pecharunt, add those four and I'll let qc handle the rest.

Thank you for your work! Unfortunately I think that the set name might have been a little misleading - we've discussed this in QC and will change it to simply "Pivot", as, while this is a defensive piece, it does not really fit on teams as a purely defensive Pokemon right now and it's most commonly seen as a pivot on offensive teams. While usage stats are far from everything, I'd recommend checking out the following pages for more of an insight into what kind of partners Pecharunt typically finds itself used with.

Ladder usage stats, November
SCL usage stats - go to line 1379

Again, usage stats are far from everything and you definitely don't need to list everything included here, especially for SCL where there is a much smaller sample size. This should just give an indication as to what to include as partners in Paragraph 2 and what types of teams are worth mentioning for Pecharunt.

Pecharunt's insanely high Defense stat, Ghost-typing, and varied movepool make it a an excellent defensive pivot and support Pokemon for balanced teams. (Pecharunt is more typically found on offensive teams) Malignant Chain is a powerful STAB move that, more importantly, has an incredibly high chance to badly poison and confuse, which Pecharunt can take advantage of with the bonus damage against statused opponents from Hex. Shadow Ball is an alternative option for a Ghost-type STAB move that is more consistent than Hex and can break through bulkier opponents deal more damage to Pokemon immune to its status effects like Gholdengo and Galarian Slowking, (It doesn't really break through Gking, and Hex is better in general for breaking non-immune bulky targets) at the cost of losing the status combo. Parting Shot is not only a great pivoting move to keep up momentum for your team, it's also a great way to slow down safely pivot on (It's only a single stage stat drop so it doesn't really deal with setup sweepers itself, just lets you come in, eat a hit, and safely switch in something else) setup sweepers like Darkrai and Iron Moth (Darkrai isn't really a great example as it does massive damage to Pecharunt so Pech can't exactly pivot on it to lower its stats, while Iron Moth is not a setup sweeper) among others by cutting down their attacking stats. Heavy-Duty Boots is a solid item choice to block residual damage from entry hazards that Pecharunt would have otherwise been susceptible to as it pivots in and out, but Air Balloon is a good alternative to mitigate Pecharunt's Ground-type weakness and give your team an extra Earthquake immunity. Ghost-type Tera Ghost can boost the power of Hex to secure a KO while keeping Pecharunt's ability to block Rapid Spin, while Dark-type Tera Dark completely changes all of Pecharunt's weaknesses, including giving it a Psychic- immunity, giving it the opportunity to recover or get off a surprising Malignant Chain. Pecharunt can benefit greatly from two distinct EV spreads, one maximizing Speed and the other Defense. Making Pecharunt Timid with 252 Speed EVs ensures that it's fast enough to outspeed Great Tusk and Gholdengo, whereas making it Bold and giving it just 28 Speed EVs to outspeed Jolly Kingambit, putting the rest in Defense, allowing it to take more hits from the likes of Kingambit and Great Tusk. (Kingambit completely walls Pecharunt and is immune to all of its status effects, Pecha can only really pivot out on it with Parting Shot. Another example like Ogerpon Wellspring could be good instead here)

The support provided by Pecharunt's ability to spread status and pivot to gain momentum makes it an excellent teammate for balance teams. (As mentioned before, Pecharunt is more of a bulky offense / offense Pokemon - Balance teams don't get as much out of the momentum it can generate and typically prefer other pivots like Slowking-G although they can still run Pecharunt. I've highlighted a bunch of things in this paragraph that are currently focused on a balance role for Pecharunt as in reality it isn't really used for this) Pecharunt forms solid cores with other defensive Pokemon with pivoting moves, such as Corviknight and Alomamola. Together, these three can pivot between each other with Parting Shot, U-turn, and Flip Turn and cover for each others weaknesses, such as Corviknight evading Headlong Rushes and Earth Powers, and Assault Vest Alomamola tanking Shadow Balls and Dark Pulses. Bulky Ground-types like Landorus-Therian, Great Tusk, and Ting-lu also synergize well with Pecharunt, taking advantage of its ability to block Rapid Spin and spread entry hazards of their own. Pecharunt's Ghost-typing allows it to block Rapid Spin from opposing Great Tusk and Iron Treads, providing support for teammates like Ribombee and Hisuian Samurott to spread their entry hazards and keep them up throughout the game. (This part is great! One thing I'd highlight is that Sticky Web teams will still usually prefer Ghold as a more reliable removal blocker with more offensive value that gets more out of the webs by itself, but bulky offensive entry hazard setters in general like Lando-T, Ting Lu, and Samurott-H love having a Pecharunt around) Pecharunt is also helpful as a Poison-type that can remove Toxic Spikes from the field, clearing the path for sweeper teammates without Heavy-Duty Boots, such as Booster Energy Iron Valiant and Leftovers Zamazenta. (No comment, this is also very very valuable - nice work!) Pecharunt struggles against some of the Special Attackers in the tier that can outspeed Pecharunt and prevent it from making any progress, such as Darkrai and Choice Scarf Gholdengo. The aforementioned Assault Vest Alomamola can help take some of these hits, but having powerful teammates like Iron Valiant and Kingambit can provide much needed offensive support, while also taking advantage of Pecharunt's Parting Shot to switch in on foes and threaten the opponent set up safely. (Just rephrasing this to make it clear this is a little separate to the previous sentence as Scarf Ghold is immune to Parting Shot) Landorus-Therian and Iron Treads can also threaten Pecharunt significantly with Earth Power their Ground-type attacks, (Just adding this as EQ still does a ton from either) and Gliscor can use Swords Dance to outpace the damage Pecharunt could do with Hex. Running Air Balloon or Corviknight for a Ground- immunity can cover for this, (Lando-T is a solid partner to cover for this) but having the ability to pivot to a teammate like Kyurem can allow you to turn the matchup around in your favor.

One important archetype that Pecharunt is great on is Dark-type spam, with Pokemon you already mentioned like Kingambit and Samurott-H but also a few other options like Roaring Moon and even Darkrai, as these teams struggle heavily vs Zamazenta who Pecharunt completely stonewalls while Pecha also deals with many Iron Valiant sets that they can also have a rough time against.

Other partners like Zamazenta, Great Tusk, and Iron Valiant are really good to check Kingambit as that Pokemon completely walls Pecha, though note that only the first two can be safely brought in via Parting Shot as Kingambit's pretty free to click Iron Head or whatever it wants into Pecharunt.

Let me know when this is implemented! Sorry again for including so much here, I think the main thing is just that Pecharunt fits much more on bulkier offense teams than it does on balance - mentioning one or two balance partners is fine as it's an okay pick but its main role is on these offensive teams as a bulky pivot, spinblocker, and Za / Val check.

Pecharunt's insanely high Defense stat, Ghost-typing, and varied movepool make it a an excellent defensive pivot and support Pokemon for offensive teams. Malignant Chain is a powerful STAB move that, more importantly, has an incredibly high chance to badly poison and confuse, which Pecharunt can take advantage of with the bonus damage against statused opponents from Hex. Shadow Ball is an alternative option for a Ghost-type STAB move that is more consistent than Hex and can deal more damage to Pokemon immune to its status effects like Gholdengo and Galarian Slowking, at the cost of losing the status combo. Tera Ghost can boost the power of Hex to secure a KO (Are there any key targets that this Tera type secures a KO on?) while keeping Pecharunt's ability to block Rapid Spin, (One small thing you could tag on somewhere here is that Tera Ghost also removes your Ground weakness while keeping the spinblocking ability, which is really nice vs Tusk / Treads) while Tera Dark completely changes all of Pecharunt's weaknesses, including giving it a Psychic- immunity, giving it the opportunity to recover or get off a surprising Malignant Chain. Pecharunt can benefit greatly from two distinct EV spreads, one maximizing Speed and the other Defense. Making Pecharunt Timid with 252 Speed EVs ensures that it's fast enough to outspeed Great Tusk and Gholdengo, whereas making it Bold and giving it just 28 Speed EVs to outspeed Jolly Kingambit, putting the rest in Defense, allowing it to take more hits from the likes of Great Tusk and Ogerpon Wellspring.

The support provided by Pecharunt's ability to spread status and pivot to gain momentum makes it an excellent teammate for offensive teams. Pecharunt forms solid cores with other Dark-type Pokemon, such as Kingambit, Hisuian Samurott, Roaring Moon, and even Darkrai; these Dark spam teams are extremely weak to Zamazenta, who Pecharunt can completely wall, and to Iron Valiant who Pecharunt can switch in on and (It's not super safe but I do like emphasising you can go right into Pecha on Val and threaten it out) threaten with Malignant Chain. Bulky Ground-types like Landorus-Therian, Great Tusk, and Ting-lu also synergize well with Pecharunt, taking advantage of its ability to block Rapid Spin and spread entry hazards of their own. Pecharunt's Ghost-typing allows it to block Rapid Spin from opposing Great Tusk and Iron Treads, providing support for teammates like Ting-lu and Hisuian Samurott (Honestly I wouldn't mind keeping this as only listing Samu-H to kinda double up on the synergy you mention earlier with the Dark-spam point - not wrong at all to include Ting Lu though, so totally up to you!) to spread their entry hazards and keep them up throughout the game. Having powerful teammates like Iron Valiant and Kingambit can provide much needed offensive support, while also taking advantage of Pecharunt's Parting Shot to switch in on foes and set up safely. Landorus-Therian and Iron Treads can also threaten Pecharunt significantly with their Ground-type attacks, and Gliscor can use Swords Dance to outpace the damage Pecharunt could do with Hex. Running Air Balloon or Landorus-Therian for a Ground- immunity can cover for this, but having the ability to pivot to a teammate like Kyurem can allow you to turn the matchup around in your favor. Pecharunt is also almost completely countered walled (Again definitely not wrong, I just like swapping this word to flow into the counterplay you describe in the next sentence) by Kingambit; Zamazenta and Great Tusk are great teammates to check Kingambit, and they can both be brought in safely with Parting Shot.

Parting Shot is not only a great pivoting move to keep up momentum for your team, it's also a great way to safely pivot on setup sweepers like Kyurem and Iron Valiant among others by cutting down their attacking stats.

Question I have for this analysis

Tera Ghost can boost the power of Hex to secure a KO on statused targets like Dragapult, and removes Pecharunt's Ground-type weakness while keeping Pecharunt's ability to block Rapid Spin, which is very helpful against Great Tusk and Iron Treads.

Is Tera Ghost required to secure an OHKO on Dragapult?

Not if it's statused, but if it isn't after rocks then it could secure a OHKO

Running Air Balloon, having a Ground-immune teammate like Landorus-T, or pivoting to a teammate like Kyurem or Ogerpon-W, can cover for this weakness and allow it to turn the matchup around in it its favor. Pecharunt is also almost completely walled by Kingambit; Zamazenta and Great Tusk are great teammates to check Kingambit, and they can both be brought in safely with Parting Shot.
