SV DOU Looking for help making sure my team is good.

So recently I started playing ladder and I made a team of pokemon that I enjoy. There have been a couple of iterations but I generally stuck to pokemon that I like. However, I feel like I want to do better and so I'm looking for advice. What should I change around? What should I keep? I'm willing to change a couple pokemon to make my team better. (This is for doubles btw)

Sandy Shocks @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Earth Power
- Volt Switch
In any good team you need a hazard setter, and this is mine. Not only that but this is my only dedicated special attacker and with earth power and Tera Ground I'll likely hit anything that's neutral pretty dang hard. I also have Volt Switch for great transferring and Protect because it's generally great.

Lucario @ Assault Vest
Ability: Inner Focus
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Close Combat
- Meteor Mash
- Poison Jab
This is my answer to fairy types as I have a serious weakness to them. I decided on poison jab for some coverage. Extreme Speed for a guaranteed finish on anything I get low. Close combat and Meteor Mash for strong STAB moves

Hawlucha @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Mold Breaker
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Detect
- Defog
- High Jump Kick
- Brave Bird
This is my pokemon for getting rid of hazards, so I brought defog. High Jump Kick and Brave Bird for STAB. Detect to stop fake out. Tera steel to resist most super effective moves.

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Trick Room
- Protect
- Recover
- Tri Attack
Trick room is here just to stop Trick room teams. Made them as bulky as possible so they can just live through anything. Recover to keep them up and tri attack to give good special attack and for the chance of an effect

Chien-Pao @ Choice Band
Ability: Sword of Ruin
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Spinner
- Crunch
- Psychic Fangs
- Brick Break
Chien-Pao is here just to kill anything it comes into contact with. Ice Spinner and Crunch for great STAB. Brick Break Tera fighting to remove screens and kill almost anything that doesn't on the other side. Psychic Fangs for fighting types.

Flygon @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Tailwind
- Protect
- Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
Flygon is my Speed control. With Tailwind my team will likely move before anything else. Dragon Claw and Earthquake are great for STAB. Safety Goggles to stop spore and protect just being generally great.

Hello per the rules you should add three line descriptions for each pokemon you have in your team. I suggest using pokepaste as well for better visibility. Lastly, Chien Pao is banned in gen 9 overused.

How do I use pokepaste? I can't seem to figure it out. Also do double battles fit under the section I put it in? Because I couldn't find a section specifically dedicated to SV OU Doubles

Doubles Ou belongs under the section SV Other Teams. For Pokepaste you just click upload to Pokepaste in the teambuilder, there is a button for it, and then copypaste the link from the Pokepaste into your RMT.
