FEDS VS SMUGGLERS - GAME OVER, FED VICTORY

hal's posting exactly as he does as scum ("I'm so easy with whatever lets work together" while breadcrumbing what he actually wants to happen -> revealing his agenda and pushing it harder when people don't just do what he wants), while a fairy is more ardently using her "I don't make reads early on" even where it's not applicable, the extremes she goes to to use that mentality are higher when she's scum
I'm not sure about af but I do think in principle refusing to vote/scum hunt early >vote me to end the phase early is scummy. I can buy this.

With hal its weird because I'm getting the same feeling that you're getting but I also think his proposal to vote more active players for a possible ic is town siding behaviour vs scum siding, because if hal is scum why would he try to clear more active players? There's no way to eliminate them which makes the game harder for the feds.

I’m OK with this.

I actually thought I’ve made myself fairly easy to find this game by openly advocating for my vote day 1 (like what kind of fed play is that) but I did anticipate that kind of mindless paranoia after last game this would happen. Same thing happened after cool weapons as well. I think it’s pretty understandable

One of the reasons I wanted cel voted last cycle was because his game is super wrong so I don’t want him receiving and therefore passing goods

none of what you said made any sense, and the last time i asked you what you wanted to talk about you ignored me

what do you want to talk about
Cool sorry I’m gonna use voice dictation so if there any typos, sorry about that I think the first point that I made is quite clear if I was fed, then volunteering to be voted on day. One is kind of a crazy play a Fed flip hurts fed much more than a smuggler. Flip hurts town. I assume that the thing that you want to mention is that you said that we should’ve been fed hunting from day one while I think there’s some value to that I don’t really like it because it’s actually quite unlikely to hit fed on your first flip and I think that is useful to have someone to listen to mechanically. the second thing that you might think does not make sense is why I wanted celeger voted. I think this is very clear too! He’s a strong mechanical player and I think there’s negative value to him getting the goods early. So he’s a great conftown candidate. I also think he havs as much if not more scum equity as Bluedoom. If we’re basically randomly guessing anyway.

What in here doesn’t make sense I think it’s all quite clear

How much scum equity did you think marth had based on his one post saying hello

you're putting a lot of value onto your half-hearted request to get voted/claiming fed, which you know well enough doesn't actually matter all that much. it was always going to be safe to say/do literally whatever that early into the game, there was 0 chance of you getting voted there. claiming that it's somehow a crazy play to do something with functionally 0 danger isn't a thing.

what does "he's a strong mechanical player and I think there's negative value to him getting the goods early" - is this bc he thinks you and i are feds therefore... wont send it to us or smth? this is some wild retelling of events when celever got voted bc half the game decided fsr he was likely fed. ig you're saying that you didn't fight against it bc now we have a good player IC'd (newsflash this was always going to happen unless we flipped fed, nobody was going to vote an unskilled player) but then somehow that's said in the same breath as "btw celever's been making garbage reads" like, what

why is Realiti towncoring me
Don’t like this
I agree that I need to post something more substantative but it’s finals week

1. No I think it matters. Day one vote is based on very little. So if I volunteer I genuinely expect to go up that day. But there was little interest and more TRs on me than expected. I get voted on a lot of day 1s. I know a lot of ppl want it out of their system
2. Yes because his reads r wtong
3. I think mechanically good and good reads in the moment are two easily separable parts of a skillset don’t you?

ill grant you that you're welcome to believe 1, you're either just misrepresenting how you actually think or you're actually just not understanding how it'd actually work
Like you said hard to have reads in this game. In a random vote on the stronger players where I not only bring in this baggage of paranoia from the last game, but also volunteer, I expect people to take the offer.
