Tournament CAPCL IV - Commencement Thread

These manager pair selections have got to be a joke. At first, I thought that its better to stay silent and let it pass, but on reconsidering it, I think it sets a dangerous precedent for the future. From what I understand, there are two primary qualities that the host looks for in any manager that has signed up.
Competence and experience in said tiers
Team chemistry /Ability to lead a team
One can argue about the weightage of said qualities, but everyone agrees that these are what every manager should have at the bare minimum. If you sign up to manage, it means that you back yourself in both these departments. Its then the host's job to use their best judgement to pick the best out of the bunch, for the overall health and success of the tournament. That does not seem to be the case here.
One look at the manager pairs, and anyone that has been keeping up with CAP in recent times will tell you that something is off.

0 - Kookoo Quesos
Can tell Management experience will be the equivalent of me getting crucified in the middle of a Dennys Parking lot while Zcarlett holds the cross.
1 - Crocanaw Dundee
By far the strongest pair of managers around. It combines serious, consistent building thanks to Dex alongside true psychopath shit thanks to Steam Buns. Both have good experience managing so they most likely form a terrific team.
2 - Prometeo Primeapes
Spammernoob´s debut as a manager and he does it by taking Binpin´s squad from under his nose. Even though this is him starting out I have faith that Spammer can be a terrific manager, especially with how he is willing to test and build for his team. Even if he can he has support from Fluore, another consitently good player who has more experience with managing.
3 - Chicago White Shox
I recently tasted the abomination that is Chicago style Pizza and im beyond convinced that Chicago resisdents must be completely insane. This manager pair is quite the opposite. Its just two dudes with a good history in the CAP community who are just here to do a good job, completely chill team likely to do their best.
4 - Shoenice Skwovets
Might be insane for me to rank the previous CAPCL winner this low, especially since I literally supported this team last time and Concept and Fragments are pals of mine / very good managers, but I can feel something wrong with this team. Call it bad Yuyu, bad luck, Curse of Ra or whatever but something tells me that even if these two try their best something terrible is likely to befall them. I wish it isn´t however, these two deserve a back-to-back dub.
5 - Slopped Up Crucicibelles
They mercilessly killed Binpin´s team last CAPCL when it was at the brink of tasting victory and he has spent millenia training. Now, while he was goofying around, they took his home, his titles, his discord server and his team. How will he react? Is the CAP community ready for his wrath? Oh and Strap is there to do the actual managing I guess.

Chicago White Shox - 6
shsp has [played mons for over a decade and only today learned you can search for mul;tiple queries on the showdown teambuilder. he'd been raw googling this beforehand and even did so in front of multiple smogon users while in a discord call, to which i immediately berated him and left.
given this development i expect the quality of their teams to increase by 150%, so i'm actually bumping their rank to 6+ since they still have earthflax on the lineup.
rest of the teams are about equal give or take.

Mold power rankings based on vibes, NOT manager material since I'm not knowledgeable on the latter. If not for the tough competition some of the lower-ranked teams may have been ranked higher.
6 - Shoenice Skwovets
A Skwovet wearing Timbs is . . . mildly moldy ? And Fragments interacts with incredibly moldy users every once in a while, but besides those this team's relatively clean. Concept + Fragments is a motivated duo and they've shown their faces in a number of other tournaments, and while that typa spirit's respectable it doesn't get you far on a mold PR.

I'll take my regular ass pizza ty. Looks like for the most part it's just a lit ahh manager pair looking to have a fun time ? While that kinda atmosphere brings tears to my eye it, unfortunately, does not give mold points. Earthflax's pfp is pretty moldy but that's not enough to challenge the moldiest of the bunch.
4 - Kookoo Quesos
This team's mostly non-moldy but one thing caught my eye: user queso (the_cheesen_one on discord) is a reg in Fluore's moldy ahh server. I'm sure this was unintended but that's enough to gap the above teams. Also, Hoothoot's a lil moldy.
e: apparently that's a different cheese, still counts due to the confusion caused

This one's interesting. Looking at the manager pair you'd initially expect a non-moldy atmosphere, but a couple things stand out. WTF is Beak Blast Necturna, that sounds like some BH shit which automatically makes it moldy. And secondly, Croconaw kinda looks like BOWSER (iykyk). These factors combine to gap the above teams' moldiness but fail to match the below's attributes.

Jokes aside, a moldy ahh Primeape mascot, willingly stealing BinShits' main franchise, and Fluore's server having a JAIL channel (mainly for housing BinPin) contribute to near-unparalleled molding levels. What may be overlooked even by frequent molders is Spammernoob's Smogon pfp, which brings to mind BinPin logs concerning Black Mirror ep. 1, further increasing mold dosage. Week 4 finna be the moldiest team tour week oat
