Welcome to the third iteration of ZU Olympiad, this time featuring two current gen slots! The hosts for this tour will be AC7 and FlamPoke.
Manager signups are now open!
The slots played will be 2x SV ZU - 1x SS ZU - 1x SM ZU - 1x ORAS ZU - 1x BW ZU - 1x DPP ZU - 1x ADV ZU - 1x GSC ZU - 1x RBY ZU

After a good deal of discussion, the tier leaders ultimately decided that:
- Co-managers will be allowed and both managers and co-managers may self-buy and play.
- There will be no retains.

Regarding manager pricing:
- Managers and co-managers will cost a flat 15k

Past experiences: I served as assistant manager for the ZUPL V iteration of the Fiery Flamencos and managed alongside LustfulLice for the first iteration of USW’s ZUWC team. OBB has managed several different ZU team tournaments, including leading his Shiiny Shiinotics to a victory in the latest iteration of ZUPL. Both of us also bring tons of experience in several different generations of ZU.

Past experiences: First time managing, but I have a generally strong amount of knowledge across all ZU tiers (backed up by my recent ZU Classic performances) and I was part of the previous ZUOL winning team. Jawabarat/Dan has had previous managing experience in BDSPPL and NDFL. We will look to be active throughout the tour and we're confident in our ability to create a fun and competitive environment!

Zpice is a zu expert, I am a master motivator qotw setter and world class at arguing with tour hosts

I got the bibs semis in bdsppl, ndfl was not pretty but I learnt what not to do
I also went 2-2 with team uk reaching semis of zuwc

Past experiences: i've been an active member of the ZU community for many years and i have a lot of experience in various ZU gens, having played in various editions of ZUPL and ZUOL, and i have individual results such as winning the latest SS ZU cup and getting to finals in the latest ZU swiss. i have also managed team Italy for the latest iteration of ZUWC. Lyra is more of a newcomer in ZU, but they have plenty of managing experience between RUGL, RUWC and RUBD. they also have a custom role in the ZU discord server.

Team name / desired team name: Malicious Manectrics
Co-manager: TomatoZause
Past experiences: I played and helped build sv teams for the cramlington cramorants in zupl in which my team made playoffs and I promptly choked in my playoffs debut. I am a massive sweaty try-hard who spends way too much time on discord which lends itself well to annoying my players about scheduling. Zause and I both qualified for zu circuit and we both have experience playing all of zu’s oldgens.

Zause is skibidi at all zu tiers and has absolutely no shame in stealing entire builders from previous zu team cords so his sigma support will help lesser experienced teambuilders in all tiers. His impressive showing in SS last ZUPL with a 5-2 record demonstrates his ability to play yet another zu meta at a high level. He also managed the Manetrics to a playoffs appearance despite an 0hio-3 record. Seriously though, after teaming with Zause in RUBD, I can attest firsthand he’s extremely motivated to prep in team tours and I’m sure others who’ve teamed with him in zu tours would say the same.

Co-manager: estra
Past experiences: Estra managed Brazil in ZUWC and got 1st seed in pools and made semis, and managed in PTPL and NUCL. Estra also has loads of ZU experience with ZUPL and cg tours like Swiss and Ladder Tour, and is super easy to talk to and preps well. I've managed ZUPL a few times and been in most ZU team tours. Between the two of us, Estra and I can cover most slots.

Past experiences: Fish Anemometer and I were managers in previous ZUPL (ZeroUsed Premier League) tournaments. A handful of our highlights in the preceding year include: a victory of ZeroUsed Olympiad, ZeroUsed World Cup finalist, gold in ZU Open, and supported SM ZU (2-5 record) for the Sacred Sakuras. Thus, I be of the opinion that we could construct a team with a positive competitive atmosphere to play in this year's tournament.
