Gengar
dpmfa094.png

Life orb
252 sp.atk // 252 speed // 6 hp
Timid // levitate
Shadow ball
Hypnosis
Thunder bolt
Focus blast

gengar is a very solid lead for the team, i know it's the standard set but it works very well and hypnosis almost always forces a switch.

Immunities:
fight
normal
ground

Heatran
dpmfa485.png

Choice scarf
252 sp.atk // 252 speed // 6 hp
Modest // Flash fire
Fire blast
Earth power
HP {grass}
Dragon pulse

heatran is such a solid pokemon, coming in off a fire attack will only make him even harder for the opposing team to take down. his only downside is speed which choice scarf solves.

Immunities:
Fire
poison

Gyarados
dpmfa130.png

Leftovers
212 HP // 180 def // 16 atk // 100 speed
Adamant // intimidate
Dragon dance
Taunt
Earthquake
Waterfall

gyardos is one of the pivitol members of the team, he stops alot of big offensive threats and support pokemon, another standard but it works.

Immunity:
Ground

Garchomp
dpmfa445.png

Choice scarf
252 atk // 32 sp. def // 226 speed
Adamant // sand stream
Outrage
Earthquake
Stone edge
Fire blast

i needed a very fast hard hitting poke in here as my physical sweeper and garchomp is one of the most obvious choices, and he is my second pokemon to make good use of choice scarf

Immunities:
Electric

Blissey
dpffa242.png

Leftovers
148HP // 252 def // 108 sp.atk
Bold // Natural cure
Thunder bolt
Ice beam
Softboiled
Calm mind

you know exactly what this is for, the evs allow it to take special hits from heavy hitting choice-spec'd pokemon better. She is also my cleric

Immunties:
Ghost

Bronzong
dpmfa437.png

Leftovers
252 hp // 152 atk // 8 def // 96 sp.def
Relaxed // levitate
Gyro ball
Earthquake
Stealth rock
Explosion

after adding garchomp to the mix i had not only a glaring ice weakness but a massive CB mamo weak and bronzong is deffinately the best to counter him as it's the only pokemon (other than surskit) to resist mamo's STABs actually all his standard attacks, and hit back with a SE gyro ball.

Immunities:
Ground
Poison

so the basic idea of the team is to use all of their immunities with carefull prediction to, most of the time, switch in for free, which makes everything all the easier to do any strategy, im deffinatly considering lucario as i dont have any physical fighting attacks on the team so i'll see how it plays out on the team with and without him.

Scarfing Heatran doesn't really serve much purpose, because odds are the switch in will be something that can use Ground attacks and doesn't mind fire too much (Garchomp, for example). Better to blowout with Fire Blast, which can 2HKO Blissey with a burn and Stealth Rocks.

It seems a damn shame to have a team with no one setting up SR, its really very handy against a great deal of Pokemon. Bronzong would be the best potential user, if you can work it into his build. Maybe drop Rest and Sleep Talk for SR and Explosion.

I'd consider the alternative attack options for Gyarados, Ice Fang doesn't seem like it'd be hitting very many things, while Waterfall benefits greatly from being stronger, having STAB, 100% accuracy and a chance to flinch. Stone Edge is also a nice option, and hits hard. Does your team really need a Cleric? Calm Mind on Blissey is a nice option, as is Thunder wave for support.

And I wouldn't say that you really have a glaring Ice weakness or CBMamo weak. Gyarados is a pretty good counter, for one thing, especially with Intimidate, EQ immunity and Ice Shard neutrality. Waterfall would also hit him super effective.

thanks for the first post especially one with good advice. SR is deffinatley going on zong with that, but id did have a mamo weak before as i had gliscor and chomp at one time so zong seemed like a logical choice being the only OU pokemon to resist both ground/ice and hit SE, ice fang really hasnt been doing much so i'll replace it with waterfall . i'll test CM bliss and see if it works or not, thanks again for the advice.

cant gengar just hit gyara with thunderbolt? he is faster in all cases unless after a DD, and i hardly see gyaravire anymore, but i'll try celebi on shoddy first.

Bulky Gyara is slower than Gengar even after a DD. Other variants might outspeed you though, but Scarfchomp should help with Stone Edge.
