If I’m forced to make my irrelevant vote go somewhere that actually influences the game, I will Vote Aura Guardian but it’s a rough decision between these two and I think they’re just paired

1) aimed kp with ck that CAN be recharged
2) kp that scum has more control over than town does

Do I fault JALMONT for how they've played today? If he's town he subbed into a hella voteable slot that realistically should've died on D2 if not for the two roleblocker debacle and knows hitting 4 in a row votewise isn't likely.
But also if he's mafia trying to do anything he can to wiggle out of the vote and get all claims on the table also makes sense, because going 4/1 in votes without roles is hella difficult so presumably mafia would want to stop a mechanical lock here at any cost. Regardless of alignment I think the behaviour makes sense.
In the end idk. DBD is a slot that was pretty much never townread by anyone but is still alive on D4 claiming the same ability as two other guys, one of which is flipped town. The scum!AG and town!JALMONT angle doesn't really make sense either, because town!JALMONT's vig getting stolen by scum!AG is hella swingy. In a world where one of them is town it is probably AG, which means JALMONT between the 2 of them is always the vote.
Consider my vote on JALMONT but I don't want to L-1 him early.

I think a lot of the post makes sense from the perspective of "town jalmont is a in a desperate position and feels like he has to save the game". But at this point in the game a lot of traditional earlygame "scumtells" are NAI because town getting voted out probably means they lose too. If you're town it definitely looks worse too but I can't have confidence there tbh sorry.
so are you going to play the game by mech or??? because I feel like this is the stuff that causes smogtown’s losing spirals, just not taking previous days into account
well ig its not previous days wrt jalmont but i think if we’re going to try mech alone we will lose because we already know the mechanics of this game are quite stupid
To be clear I think DBD was scummy, just that w/o knowing alignments I don't think I can say JALMONT's stuff makes it any worse.
