This tournament will be made up of four teams (subject to change depending on the number of signups), and each team will have six main players and at least two substitutes. Players will be purchased in a draft with the 70,000 points assigned to each team to spend. Managers can buy themselves for 13,500 points, and must let one of the tournament hosts (Electra102 and/or Test Rex) know before the draft. The price of a player will be dependent on the auction, with players starting at 3,000 points and the minimum bet being 500 points.
The tiers played will be USUM PH, USUM PH, ORAS PH, ORAS PH, DPPt PH, and the Wild Card. The Wild Card is a format that is randomly selected each week, and can be one of the following: GSC PH, ADV PH, BW PH, SwSh PH, BDSP PH, and SV PH.
All games will be played on the Smogtours server, and challenge codes will be provided for formats that are not challengeable. Best-of-three will be enforced for each format, although a different odd number of matches can be done if both players agree to it.
Teams will earn points depending on how well their players do each week. Each team will earn two points for every complete set of matches a player wins. Any ties will not be considered complete games, and will be replayed. After each team has played every other team twice, the finals will begin. The team with the most points will face the team with the second-most in the finals. Whichever team wins the finals wins the tournament.
In the case of a tie in the finals, three best-of-threes will be played- one of ORAS is required, and each team will be allowed to choose a format (that was either played earlier as a wild card or is gen7/gen4) to play. If both teams choose the same format, USUM will become the third format. If USUM is chosen by both teams, DPPt will become the third format.
Replays will be required. Please send replays to the tournament-games channel in the Pure Hackmons Discord server, as well as the dedicated Forums thread for that week.
Activity calls can be started when a player is 15 minutes late to a match, and can be started by pinging the entire opposing team in the PHPL Discord server (please explain who is missing in your ping). If a manager is not responding, any sub that is not playing that week can independently take the battle themselves. Otherwise, the substitution decision will be up to the opposing team’s manager. After 30 minutes has passed after an activity call has been made, and no substitute has been found, the win will be given to whoever made the activity call.
The tournament will take up to seven weeks to complete for your team. Please try to stay active in your team's Discord server throughout that period.
Some reminders of rules-
- Tourbanned players are not allowed to participate. A team that knowingly drafts a banned player under an alt will be severely punished
- Any players that are caught having signed up under an alt to lower their price will also be punished
- If a drafted player is ejected from the tournament, the team they were on will be allowed to choose an undrafted player at no cost
- Trades are not allowed
- There are no retains

Why you should be chosen as a manager-Signups for teams will close on January 25th, at 2:00pm GMT-8. The manager choices will be announced that weekend. Player signups will close January 31th at 14:00 GMT -5, 2025.
