* Dragon Darts is specifically used to break Substitute from Pokemon like Espathra.
* Phantom Force covers Ghost-type Pokemon like Spectrier, Pecharunt, Annihilape, and non-physically defensive Skeledirge.
* U-turn deals with physically defensive Hoopa-U.
* Dragapult's ability Clear Body allows it to ignore stat changes from Landorus-T and Pecharunt.
* Dragapult's Ghost typing allows it to safely attack without having to worry about getting hit by Counter from Defensive Ogerpon-W.

* Phantom Force covers Ghost-type pPokemon like Spectrier, Pecharunt, Annihilape, and non-Physically Defensive Skeledirge.
* U-turn deals with Physically Defensive Hoopa-U.
