you know this feeling when you watch something and have no idea if its rage bait or genuine stupidity?

There's this coffee guy on YouTube and this guy does the dumbest mistakes possible. Like he tried goat milk in his coffee but he took evaporated goat milk and used a sugary, instant coffee as a base instead of just making a regular espresso as a base for a latte with regular goat milk. That's every single video of his. Simple premise that he fucks up somehow. And he has absolutely sophisticated gear, like thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars in barista tools that he misappropriates for dummy activities

Is he genuinely this stupid or is it engagement farming? I don't know. Maybe a mix of both

Absolutely fucks me up that there's a western comic book character called KGBeast and he's a god damn Batman villain

Literally how in the actual shit is the KGB supervillain with this design anything other than a Captain America nemesis

The funny thing is, that no matter how much damage he takes, as long as he's still breathing, he will come back (I believe he's called the cockroach of DC because of this). This has lead Batman and friends to do some BRUTAL things to him. Like, when KGBeast shot Nightwing in the head one time, Batman sought him out and during there fight shot his grappling hook point blank at his head, severing his spinal cord.

So yeah, uhh, I think he kinda fits into Batman's villain gallery.

aaauuuuggghhhh holy fuck i love mili so much. like their instrumentals are fine (and i can see why people don't like them) but their lyricism is so densely packed with symbolism it's unreal. i love when mili releases a new song and i'm at my second or third listen and the message in the lyrics click and i'm filled with existential dread for the next week. generational levels of peak. unironically better than crack

if you're willing to give it a shot i'd start with listening to "to kill a living book" in order just to see if you like it

it's so bizarre when you something you know well depicted by someone extremely accurately

I am watching Monster right now and it's absolutely insane how accurate every single aspect of it is to the setting

From the wrapping of Werther's Original to the store design of the Turkish rug seller. It's insane. Can't believe a Japanese person made that

Countless games have led to this… the first Scrabblepost of the year! (And first in almost a whole year oops I’ve really been slacking)

Anyway, in the past year I moved so I live on my own now, meaning I don’t get to play real life in person Scrabble as much I’d like to. That said I’m back on my online Scrabble grind recently and I’m def shaking off the rust but I’ve had some pretty good games recently. Here’s the first time in forever that I broke 450 (and only barely haha), now in GIF form! I’m purple:

I’m done with the Scrabble Go app, it was annoying and had ads and I felt like the competition was sort of all over the place. Definitely enjoying woogles.io much more: no ads, no waiting for real people, and you can play bots that are probably around your skill level. They even have a post-game analyzer that shows you the optimal moves you could’ve made, and you can export your games to GIF form as seen above. Shoutout Amaranth for showing me this site!

I play almost all of my games with BasicBot, the second-easiest bot that scores an average of 330 points a game. Overall I definitely have a winning record on BasicBot but I still get beat a good amount of the time. My goal for 2025 is to graduate onto BetterBot, which scores an average of 370 per game and is the mid-level bot that you can play against. I feel like right now I could beat BetterBot once in a blue moon, but certainly not with any kind of consistency. Need to up my word knowledge for sure and get better about seeing all my options on the board (especially with overlaps).

I bought the official Scrabble player’s dictionary for my in-person games and though it sounds kind of lame, studying the dictionary would definitely help. I just have too many video games in my backlog at the moment for that lol.

Anyway hope you enjoyed the Scrabblepost (especially you, Sijih). Here’s to many more games and not waiting almost a year before the next one!

Okay sure fine I will scrabblepost too

I also play the bots on woogles and as of a couple months ago I've graduated from beating up BetterBot using void challenge (where the site tells you if the word you're playing is invalid, doesn't let you play it, and lets you try something else instead) to getting absolutely pummeled by it using double challenge (if I play a word that is no good, it's challenged off and I lose the full turn). This REALLY tests your dictionary knowledge as you can't just go "uhhhh maybe this?" you have to KNOW your words. It's tough because I haven't really thoroughly studied but it's also more fun once you have a decent knowledge base to actually test it.

Attaching my best game since doing the switch here, but know this is a severe outlier
