alternative smogoff rules thread

The stupidest thing about freshman year of college was that my friends on my floor all hung out in the same dorm room all the time (affectionately referred to as Club 720) and in the room there was a written list of rules for hanging out there. Number 4 was left blank because it was “the unwritten rule.” Which is something that was very important to us at the time but now that it’s 9 years later none of us can remember what “the unwritten rule” was.

My point is that Smogoff’s shadow posting cabal needs to think up a rule for posting in the forum, announce that they’ve made the rule in this thread, but never actually write it down anywhere. That way we I mean uh, they, can ban people as they please because they’re still going by “the rules,” it just happens to be the unwritten one.

This rule already exists. It's called the moderator discretion rule.
