Tournament RUPL XII - Commencement Thread

These manager pair selections have got to be a joke. At first, I thought that its better to stay silent and let it pass, but on reconsidering it, I think it sets a dangerous precedent for the future. From what I understand, there are two primary qualities that the host looks for in any manager that has signed up.
Competence and experience in said tiers
Team chemistry /Ability to lead a team
One can argue about the weightage of said qualities, but everyone agrees that these are what every manager should have at the bare minimum. If you sign up to manage, it means that you back yourself in both these departments. Its then the host's job to use their best judgement to pick the best out of the bunch, for the overall health and success of the tournament. That does not seem to be the case here.
One look at the manager pairs, and anyone that has been keeping up with RU in recent times will tell you that something is off.

hey i wanted to express my desire to play ssru, ideally start. the last time i really got to play this tier in rupl, i was like 14. i have gotten better since then, which i think is reflected in my tour results over the past year in ru circuit. i'll do whatever role the team needs me to do, whether that be support other slots or start somewhere else, but i cannot guarantee same enthusiasm that i would have for starting ss. i hope this does not come across as pretentious and have a good day
Hello everyone, this season i want play SV/BO3 at most, than is SS, SM, BW, if team not necessery DON'T make me play ORAS RU because this tier is really boring.
Last year some Chinese player get success in RUWC/other tour, i think now 4 SV can give them many player chance so i hope more captain get them.(if being teammates with me is really good, i hope i can being teammates with one-three of them)
691 Although he not touched too much RU but he is decent in SS/SV, have understand to help teammates build/rematch and can win many tour, last year's SCL Champion don't explain too much.
lza At most time he is low-key player but when matches coming, he will does well, being one of drafted in SPL's player in China, his gamesence don't speak too much, last year's RUWC he does really well, won alpha rabbit, charmflash, hurtadoo, hacker, tycarter and noname, all opp are rough but he get big success, he also was last year's Chinese RU Invitational's second runner-up, i really hope draft me's captain also draft him, i can promise he can did well again.
hi.naming is hard RULT 2024's runner up, he might struggled in RUBD but RUGL/RUWC's record can prove himself, he is a really good clicker, if give good build he will does well.
wangyu I don't know did he signup but in RUGL he is most underrated player, in SM get 5-2, although RUWC get 3-4's record not too good but he saved team on tiebreak and get close win with cleiau.
Nashrock My good partner when i doing captain and also is good player.
Dusk i also not sure he sign up but he is best BW player in China and so active, he will give soild BW support.
sadly Soul king0 need college entrance examination this year so he mostly don't signup, but they are good Chinese player, but there have so much decent Chinese player can get. Many excellent players just lack an opportunity, and I hope the captains can give them a chance. They will definitely not disappoint you. Thank you very much to everyone who has read this paragraph.
