I spent entirely too long trying to review this theory because it seems like something Game Freak would do. But like, I just want to make sure, we all agree that this is complete garbage, right? Like this is clearly just confirmation bias and apophenia at work, right? It's pretty easy to draw an X or Y on top of any bipedal or quadrupedal creature and call it day. Those body types are usually symmetrical and already shaped like that. Outside of the spherical and serpentine critters on the roster, you can draw an X or Y on like the majority of the Pokedex. Unsurprisingly, all the serpentine Mega species pretty much miss the mark completely here (Gyarados, Steelix, and Rayquaza). Even some of the more anthropomorphic ones which should easily be able to match the X/Y shape either are posed in a way that makes the shape less prominent, or just miss the mark entirely (Ampharos, Beedrill, Camerupt, and Sableye). Not to mention that people can't even agree whether some of the Pokemon are supposed to be an X, Y, or both.

I'm sorry I'm bad at Smogoff but this theory was so mind-bogglingly bad yet presented with such confidence that I genuinely feel like I need the reassurance that this is all hot nonsense.

Somebody understands

Fostered a dog one time that reminded me of Zacian. Not because of the sword or the red and blue coloring or the random wing looking things. He definitely had the ability Intrepid Sword though (any time you would switch him into a new room he would get a +1 attack boost and get super aggressive). So much so that my parents played the role of Gamefreak and had to nerf him if you know what I mean :(
