NOC Secret Hitler Mafia - Game Thread [FASCISTS WIN]

unfortunately by nature of an early vote and the ability to fly under the radar i suspect that the fascists/anarchist are likely either not encouraging real conversation or are just trying to fly under the radar

I do think there are people here (myself, AP, blazade and you) who are capable of/willing to powerwolf and play more aggressively, but until any of you show your fangs I think there’s a pretty high chance we do have scum in the inactives

idk. maybe im reading the setup wrong but in what feels like a scum-sided setup i feel like scum benefits from a sleepy thread and avoiding too much game progress especially on d1

Are we not gonna let des put the policies out before voting someone? We still don't technically know what's going to happen.

Are we really meant to take a 3/10 shot and make it easier for anarchists to win if we miss? I'm not opposed but it's also not entirely clear to me.

I would personally policy someone inactive cause I really have nothing to go on.

also my understanding is that the vote would only take effect in the 24 hours following Des’s policy enactment, though we can start voting at any time during the “day” phase.
What I'm not sure about is if the hammer's activity extends to this phase, because I don't want anyone to get a majority before the policy is released and have the hammer take effect.

I mean I’d rather not give scum a free nk, plus our odds are actually rather good if you factor in PRs being able to conf themselves.

And yes by policy I mean vote, a policy vote is one where you're targeting behavior rather than people. Obviously that can change if someone says something that I find significant but if everyone is uninformed I find that extremely unlikely

Apologies, should have mentioned this earlier. You can hammer a chancellor vote as well, so des is now chancellor.

I think elimination votes are gonna be a stretch to justify, but I’ll start throwing shit at the wall until it sticks. Evie so far has looked like they’re just trying to be agreeable and not stick out, my totally static elimination vote lands here.

Vote: Evie
I do agree I am kind of channeling Jalmont energy myself right now. CMIIW :pimp: but isnt there no night kill?

If that is true then I sort of agree on no lynch maybe. My only hangup is I really really dont want to let the cult leader recruit someone, but it is a longshot to guess who that is. I might actually be more worried about the Anarchists overall since they can play townie and lay low all game potentially.

AngryPidgeon hi ap any thoughts
Ya Im afraid of the Anarchists, haha. I need to look over the setup document one more time and do some actual analysis.

I believe Anarchists are capped at 1 recruit max. Fascists dont get a kill. So if we dont vote anybody out, I think the primary wincon for all teams would be via legislation? Legislation victory is a bit of a slog and my instinct was that the game would not end that way. However, if we can actually stall the lynch vote and just focus legislation, that might be a path to victory?

Did you see the legislation choices by the way?
