IVs: 20 Atk
Timid Nature
- Tachyon Cutter
- Volt Switch
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
[SET COMMENTS]
Iron Crown provides Steel teams breathing room against Fighting matchups, threatening intimidating foes such as Okidogi, Great Tusk, and Urshifu-R. Tachyon Cutter takes out threats like Focus Sash Breloom and Mimikyu, which normally don't get OHKOed. Volt Switch makes Iron Crown a fast and offensive pivot, allowing it to pivot out of foes such as Gholdengo and Alolan Muk, which otherwise threaten a ton of damage. Volt Switch can also heavily dent Flying and Water teams, damaging foes like Pelipper and Skarmory. Psychic allows Iron Crown to handle Fighting-type Pokemon like Urshifu-R, Iron Hands, and Great Tusk. Focus Blast breaks through Ursaluna, Hisuian Goodra, Empoleon, and Heatran, which are hard to deal with for Steel teams.
Corviknight and Skarmory provide Iron Crown with a keen immunity to Ground-type moves. Corviknight removes entry hazards and offers a slow pivot through U-turn, whereas Skarmory sets hazards and phazes setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Sneasler and Dragon Dance Dragonite. Archaludon handles physical attackers such as Gouging Fire and Ogerpon-H and exerts pressure on Dark-type foes such as Meowscarada and Bisharp, which threaten Iron Crown. Archaludon also spreads Thunder Wave to slow down fast foes like Tornadus-T and Greninja and sets Stealth Rock. Heatran provides an immunity to Fire-type moves from Ninetales and Volcarona while also setting Stealth Rock. Gholdengo, due to Good as Gold, prevents foes such as Blissey and Sableye from slowing down Iron Crown through Thunder Wave and also provides a Fighting immunity. Hisuian Goodra, thanks to its sheer special bulk, provides a safe switch-in against strong special attacks from threats like Greninja and Moltres. Iron Treads removes hazards and threatens Ground-types Pokemon such as Garchomp, Landorus-I, and Gliscor. With the help of priority in Sucker Punch, Bisharp shoves off Ghost-types such as Flutter Mane and Dragapult. In return, Iron Crown deals with Toxapex, Okidogi, and Great Tusk.
