* With several options to boost its stats, Miraidon can become an unstoppable force if given the opportunity!
* **Electro Drift**: Electro Drift's consistent power works well for both Agility and Calm Mind sets.
* **Parabolic Charge and Calm Mind**: Calm Mind is a great boosting option for Miraidon, but those with slower spreads in particular will often take sizable damage while trying to set up. Parabolic Charge's healing works well for offsetting this, and the Calm Mind boosts help make up for its lower Base Power.
* **Dragon Pulse versus Draco Meteor**: Dragon Pulse may be weaker, but it doesn't compromise Miraidon's offense in the long term. Draco Meteor's high burst damage can be worth it in lieu of the Special Attack drop, since this Miraidon often tries to sweep late-game, but it can otherwise be problematic if Miraidon has to face multiple targets.
* **Agility**: With the appropriate Speed investment, Agility will let Miraidon outrun the most common Choice Scarf users in the metagame!
Tera Types
========
* **Tera Dependency - High**: Due to the one-time nature of Electric Seed, Terastallization is almost mandatory so that Miraidon can overcome its checks.
* **Water**: Tera Water is Miraidon's best hope of taking out the troublesome Iron Treads. Its also a strong defensive typing, though notably, it does make the Miraidon mirror matchup much trickier if the opponent still has their own Terastallization available.
* **Ice**: Tera Blast Ice provides the best offensive coverage with Electric-type STAB moves if Miraidon is trying to fit both Calm Mind and Agility into the same set. While Tera Ice is not as strong defensively, the Ice-type resistance is still good against Chien-Pao.
EV Spreads
========
* With the Defense boost from Electric Seed, all of the spreads shown below let Miraidon survive the 2HKO from Tera Normal Choice Band Dragonite's Extreme Speed.
* **156 HP / 252 SpA / 100 Spe with Modest**: The given Speed investment lets Miraidon outrun up to Timid Chi-Yu; after an Agility, Miraidon outruns all the way up to Choice Scarf Calyrex-S! After maximizing offensive power, the rest is put into HP.
* **236 HP / 252 SpA / 20 Spe with Modest**: It's recommended that this bulkier spread is used with Calm Mind and Parabolic Charge. Just enough Speed is maintained to outrun Jolly Landorus-T.
* **132 HP / 252 SpA / 124 Spe with Timid**: This spread is meant as a faster variation for Calm Mind setups, as the Speed investment will outrun other base 135 Speed Pokemon that have neutral Speed natures, such as Koraidon and Chien-Pao.
