What if people had weird brain thingies that gave them superpowers (random ones bc I love gambling) but also diahrea and once u put it on u couldn’t take it off and it’s unbreakable
 
A giant warehouse, repurposed as a nightclub with a difference. In this club, you can legally buy purified street drugs (padded cells for the more dangerous hallucinogenic drugs), every room has doctors on hand with the antidotes in case you have a bad reaction. Filming inside is strictly forbidden. For the more hardcore drugs (meth, heroin etc.) you have to sign a waver saying you understand how dangerous they are. I'd put it in one of those out of town retail parks (those have generally been struggling in my country with the rise of online shopping) and there'd be busses taking you to and from it.

Fighting game where you can fully customize your moveset and gameplay. I.E. armor weight determines movement/bulk, weapons determine your normals (A/B/C if you play normal fighting games or 1/2/3/4 if you're a tekken player or just A if you're a smash player) and then you get a couple of slots for special moves to put pretty much whatever you want (so slot in combo extension pieces/zoning tools/setups to start combos/recovery if its a platform fighter)

I'd play the fuck out of this honestly even if the concept is obviously gonna be a bitch and a half to balance

I'd argue that this is pretty close to already existing if you're willing to handle a drop in total move count and a greater focus on projectiles. Custom Robo has five fully independent slots: base form (determines bulk, hitbox, one attack, and movement type), three different weapons (including some pure utility options), and a modifier to movement. I think of ARMS as fairly similar with being able to fully swap out attacks, though the practical customization there is limited by the dominance of straightforward gloves.
 
A story set in a pastiche of a famous dystopia novel (1984, Hunger Games, The Giver etc.) but it takes place after the regime has fallen and follows the new government as they struggle to democratize, undo the dystopia's twisted rules and hold its chief architects accountable
