Random MixCario set, keep or trash to one's dismay

A toy set I decided to play around, with a bit kick'in here and there.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Trait/Ability: Steadfast
Nature: Rash
EV Spread: 6 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
- Close Combat
- HP Elec/Ice/Fire/Grass
- Dragon Pulse
- Vacuum Wave/Extreme Speed

With Life Orb itself, CC doesn't require any EV's to guarantee OHK on max HP/Def Blissey.
However, since it's a mixed set, I suggested HP Elec for Gyarados, whom tends to switch and thinking they can get free DD's. You could also choose HP Ice over Dragon Pulse, but both will success a OHK on Salamence if you can predict a switch in and Extreme Speed'ed it afterward, which is a KO either way.

For Vacuum wave, it might not do any significant dmg on Gyarados, so I added Extreme Speed instead. You could choose any filler for the last part, although I recommended priority attack for finishing touch.

Also, DON'T even bother using this set on other Lucario, it's slower than the most standard used Lucario out there, and Vacuum wave doesn't OHK the 6 HP sets.

Dmg Table:
- Gyarados w/ 212 HP: HP Elec = 96.61- 113.80%
- Blissey w/max HP & Def: CC = 102.10-120.17%
- Salamence w/min HP: HP Ice = 134.04-157.83%/ Dragon Pulse = 85.84-100.90%
- Garchomp w/6 HP: Dragon Pulse = 82.96-97.77%
- Dragonite w/6 HP: Dragon Pulse = 80.25-94.44%
- Impish Rhyperior w/max HP & Def: CC = 56.45-66.36%/ HP Grass = 150.00-176.50% (Ok, maybe Metalkid's dmg calc must've been fucked)
- Impish Skarmory w/max HP & Def: HP Fire/Elec = 81.14-95.51%/ CC = 34.73-41.02%
- Forretress w/ max HP & Def: HP Fire = 172.32-202.82%
- Tangrowth w/max HP: HP Fire/Ice = 86.39-101.73%
-
Extreme Speed dmg table:
- Salamence w/min HP: 32.83-38.55%
- Gyarados w/212 HP & 180 Def: 23.18-27.08%
- Garchomp w/6 HP: 26.54-31.01%
- Dragonite w/6 HP: 29.32-34.26%

Sorry to ruin your parade, but there is already a Mix-Cario set, and your is only mixed because Close Combat is a gaureented move to kill Blissey. While the other has it moves 2/2.

I'm not sure if there was one on Smogon. Maybe it was on Libelldra, but both doesn't classify any besides Revesal/Salac Berry sets.

The reason it is not up is because the person who wrote the anaylis didn't add the MixCario set, as it was created yet.

Well, that adds to the reason to my posting then. It's just that I haven't seen one anywhere, so yeah.

This one may look like a watered-down version of MixApe, but it's guaranteed OHK on Bliss w/CC just makes it-somewhat-decent.

I was trying to say there is a MixCario set, but it was not included in the analysis as the set was created after it was writen.

And many things can 1hko Blissey (Gengar,Heatran,Azelf) without using the best Offensive stats.

Yes I'm going harsh a little because, I just don't like sets being made, and then someone else come by and edits it, not really adding much.

My intention was not to take the spot-light.
I was just wondering how this set would work out, and yeah, I do get your point.

EDIT: I guess this one's a fail, lol. Not as versatile as SD Priorities set.

This looks like a pretty good set, but I'd change some of the moves; Aura Sphere looks pretty good even if you already have a fighting move.

Maybe Close Combat/Aura Sphere/Dragon Pulse/Shadow Ball? Cresselia and Blissey are both pretty soundly beaten because of Close Combat and Shadow Ball respectively, and you're free to sweep.

Also, maroon, just please shut up. thanks

Wow. Looks just like's Phox's Mixcario set. Only better.

I understand why you would want to use this, but really Lucario doesn't work well with a mixed set because it does nearly the same thing from both sides. It has good physical and special STAB, Crunch/Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball, and a priority move in Extremespeed/Vacuum Wave. That being said, Close Combat is only important on Blissey, and he is potentially 2hko'd by Specsluke Aura Sphere. An even better question is why Blissey would stand in Lucario's way after seeing life orb damage.

Hidden power Ice OHKO's all the dragons and Gliscor, your main counter, so that is your best choice. Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse really should be a part of the set though because without it Dusknoir and Cresselia will endlessly wall you. Dragon Pulse unfortunately falls just short of enough damage on the dragons for a OHKO with LO.

Transsexual Blissey. But I agree with most of what he says. I agree with what COalex said about Aura Sphere too. Aura Sphere does heavy damage to Forretress and Skarmory, and 1HKO's Rhyperior( Correct me if I'm wrong since I'm not sure). HP Elec only has 5 more base power than Aura Sphere on Skarmory. I'm not sure how much damage Dragon Pulse does on Gyara but hopefully with both Stealth Rock and SS support it should 1HKO. It's quite a nice set overall though.
EDIT: Did the calcs and even in a best case scenario like that you don't 1HKO:(.

I'd use HP Ice over Dragon Pulse, since it hits dragons much harder as well as flyers.

It does lose to Gyarados, but so do a lot of things.

Stone Edge over Dragon Pulse for Gyarados/Fliers... It will still deal pretty good damage. Also, since u don't need Dragon Pulse you should use HP ICE.
