Thank you so much to everyone who took part in this cycle. The number of ladder battles in March actually doubled compared to February, and your participation in the CLC played a key role in this performance! #MakeLadderGreatAgain

CORE LADDERING CHALLENGE – CYCLE 9

THE MINIMALIST CHALLENGE

1744022328999.png

Hello everyone! In this new cycle, the only constraint is that your team is limited to a maximum of three different types.

Random examples:
:dragonair::granbull::perrserker: Dragon/Fairy/Steel
:crawdaunt::cacturne::ludicolo: Water/Dark/Grass
:falinks::medicham::hypno: Fighting/Psychic
:komala::dudunsparce::persian: Normal (you're the goat if you do that)
etc etc.

Just to be clear, you can use multiple teams, as long as you never use more than 3 types in each team.

ELO caps are back to normal:
Code:
Bronze: 1300
Silver: 1400
Gold: 1500
Platinum: 1600

Prefix: 1vCLC9

The full challenge rules can be found on the first post of the thread, but as a reminder:
  1. Post the replay that shows you reach the ELO cap you're claiming.
  2. You don't need to register in the thread anymore. Just pick a name with prefix 1vCLC9 and play!
  3. If you are found using unauthorised mons, forfeit the battle and fix your team, otherwise your results will be ignored.
  4. ELO requirements above.

The cycle ends on Monday 21 April 2025, at 10am GMT.

Because there is only one core, the winner is the player reaching the highest ELO (at any moment, not necessarily at the end of the cycle), so please make sure you save the replay!

CORE LADDERING CHALLENGE – CYCLE 10

THE MONOCOLOUR CHALLENGE

1745310671143.png

Hello everyone! For this new cycle, I am recycling an idea from last year's Monocolour Tour.
Your three Pokémon must share the same colour. The colours are decided by what the Pokédex says – you can find a Pokémon’s color by using the /dt command on PS, or by looking at this page (but double-check on PS anyway).

(You don't have to stick with one colour, you can have multiple teams of different monocolour each.)

ELO requirements:
Code:
Bronze: 1300
Silver: 1400
Gold: 1500
Platinum: 1600

Prefix: 1vCLC10

The full challenge rules can be found on the first post of the thread, but as a reminder:
  1. Post the replay that shows you reach the ELO cap you're claiming.
  2. You don't need to register in the thread anymore. Just pick a name with prefix 1vCLC10 and play!
  3. If you are found using unauthorised mons, forfeit the battle and fix your team, otherwise your results will be ignored.
  4. ELO requirements above.

The cycle ends on Monday 6 May 2025, at 10am GMT.

Because there is only one core, the winner is the player reaching the highest ELO (at any moment, not necessarily at the end of the cycle), so please make sure you save the replay with your record.
