* Assault Vest covers for Ursaluna-B's average Special Defense and allows it to reliably beat some special attacker like Galarian Moltres, Raging Bolt, and opposing Ursaluna-B.
* Blood Moon deals great neutral damage to many Pokemon such as Hoopa-U, Volcarona, Ogerpon-W, and Alolan Ninetales.
* Earth Power is used to deal with Fire-type Pokemon like Skeledirge and Iron Moth and Steel-type Pokemon like Iron Crown and Metagross.
* Vacuum Wave deals with Pokemon such as Liechi Berry Sneasler, Custap Berry Hisuian Goodra, and Custap Berry Hoopa-U.
* Smack Down defeats Corviknight by removing its Ground immunity; on the other hand, Counter can be used to deal with Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Assault Vest Urshifu-S, and Ursaluna, provided they do not have a boosting move.
* The EV spread allows Ursaluna-B to survive a Close Combat from Adamant Sneasler and +1 Draco Meteor from Booster Energy Raging Bolt.
* Despite having Assault Vest, Ursaluna-B still struggles against some special attackers like Volcanion ; Alolan Ninetales; and Water- and Fighting-type Pokemon like Urshifu-R, Primarina and, Iron Hands. Therefore, Pokemon like Sylveon, Zapdos, and Raging Bolt make great teammates.

* Vacuum Wave allows Ursaluna-B to move first and let it also beat Pokemon with Custap berry such as Sylveon, (Custap sylv can fake tears -> hyperbeam you for a KO, and blood moon + EP doesn't do enough.) Hisuian Goodra and Hoopa-u. Add Liechi Berry Sneasler as a mention.
