Better New Evo: Electivire or Magmortar?

I've heard people talking about this. I actually used Electivire once, but don't care for Magmortar. If you like another, post it here.

Admittedly, the only ones worth mentioning from those are Weavile, Yanmega, Leafeon, Gliscor, Dusknoir, and Frosslass.
 
All of those except Probopass certainly have their uses...Glaceon barely cuts it(if at all) though.
 
Wait. Call me a noob if you want, but as I don't have a ds, I haven't played the actual dp game. I just play shoddy and I didn't know that gallade is an evo of a previously existing poke. Does it evolve from kirlia? Dunno, they look similar, but they are different pokes when it comes to battling.

I'm curious about it. Can anybody answer. Btw, I voted togekiss.
 
Out of the ones you posted, I'd have to say Mamoswine for his STAB's. IMO though there are other pokemon more deserving of evo's then the ones they actually did, however thats more personal taste them mechanics (would of loved a Kingler evolution *eyes sparkle*).
 
Magmortar suffers from a unwanted speed drop from magmar

same case with Honchrow these two would be so much more usable even if they only kept their former speed Elecivire doesn't mind the drop so much because is still quite fast at 95 base speed and it has motor drive

For best evos i must say Togekiss Mammoswine Weavile Magnezone and Lickilicky and tangrowth are fantastic pokemon compared to their previous forms from advance (although sneasel would had been boosted alot alone just from the special/physcial attack split)
 
I voted for Togekiss, P-Z, and Electivire for some reason. Porygon-Z can be a monster when equipped with Choice Scarf, and Plot version is viable too. Motor Drive is Electivire's saving grace, while Togekiss is just a beast on any level.

Either Gender Kirlia Lv.30 --> Gardevoir

You can still get Male Gardevoirs and Female Glalies, you know.

I hatched a Modest Male Ralts, So I made it Gardevoir, and Modest is a stupid nature for Gallade :/

I'd vote for Yanmega or Tangrowth if either were options

The best out of those is probably Porygon-Z, a real beast of a pokemon made even better with Download and Adaptability. Though honorable mention goes to Mamoswine and Togekiss.
 
Well, Togekiss and Mamo are probably the biggest improvements from their previous evolutions, but Magmortar is my personal favorite.
 
I made my vote considering how much better they all got. All of them , even piloswine, were great pokemon to use. Togetic came from a pokemon that sucked, into one of the greatest threats.
 
I voted for Togekiss becuase it makes for such an interesting gameplay strategy.

OTOH any new evolution that took previously UU pokes and bumped them to BL OU is worth a medal in my book.
 
I had to go with Mamoswine. Ice/Ground STAB coming off 130 attack is just amazing. I love it how Rhyperior and Electivire are currently in last and 5th place respectively considering how much hype was surrounding them in the early stages of D/P.

all the pokes besides kiss and mammo's preevos used to KIND of be seen even in uu. now kiss and mammo are top tier so :D
