ello!
so I'm pretty new to gen 9 UU but I love the format and have had a lot of fun with balance and stall so I thought I might as well ask for feedback on the team I've had the most fun using so far. any feedback would be much appreciated!
Slowbro @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Psychic Noise
- Slack Off
having a resistance to fire and fighting, both of which are very scary types for this team to deal with makes Slowbro a good fit on this team. adding regenerator into the mix gives crazy longevity and psychic noise can cook a lot of defensive walls.
._. (Blissey) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Seismic Toss
- Heal Bell
- Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled
Blissey will never not be good. there is nothing quite like the dopamine of switching in on a special wall breaker, taking like 8% damage, then crippling them with thunder wave. the reputation of bliss far proceeds me and I doubt anyone will be confused as to why they are on my team
LIVE WOCHIEN (Wo-Chien) @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Ruination
- Leech Seed
- Protect
Wo-Chien fills a pretty funny niche on this team because it can switch in on like 40% of the metagame and leech seed protect stall until they switch. The ability tablets of ruin is surprisingly solid allowing Wo-Chien in some circumstances feel almost like physical blissey. That being said, while I do have a soft spot for Wo-Chien Its role might be filled better by sinestcha with its similar typing and ability to spin block.
Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 208 Def / 48 Spe
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Body Press
- Whirlwind
- Spikes
- Roost
best spikestacker in the tier imo. while I'm happy with this Skarm set I do think it would be nice to fit toxic in there somewhere but I doubt it would be better then whirlwind
EWGF (Clodsire) (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 248 HP / 176 Def / 84 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Recover
I like to think of Clodsire as the ultimate panic button when you accidentally let something have one to many swords dances. that being said I do sometimes think I could replace Clodsire but my attempts to do so have not worked out so far.
Mullen @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 156 HP / 252 SpD / 100 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
I dont hate excadrill but I don't seem to get much milage out of them but this less feels like the fault of excadrill and more that I don't know how to use them well.
so yeah feel free to give feedback as I definitely think this team could be improved, thanks for reading !! :3
