Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Type: Steel/Normal
Abilities: Overclock (When this Pokemon takes direct damage, raises its Spe by 1. Immunity to Paralysis.) / Heavy Metal // Volt Absorb
Stats: 80/70/80/70/80/120 (BST: 500)
Weight: 58.0 kg
Gender: 50-50
Design: Frog like mon with a speaker box for mech armor.
Description: Mechanoise has a signature ability that isn't very interesting for it. Its already one of the fastest in the format so a speed boosting ability isn't very interesting over something like Volt Absorb. However, it can use Skill Swap or Entrainment to give its ally the ability, allowing them a form of speed support on an ally that cares less about their ability. Its other good ability is Volt Absorb, which paired with its Normal-typing makes for a pretty solid Wizareetin check (gets nuked by Focus Blast, though). It can even use Entrainment to put Volt Switch on its ally for better Wizareetin answering. Aside from that, it has usable 80/80/80 bulk paired with 120 speed Snarl for support. A really crazy strat you can pull is Skill Swap/Entrainment Overclock on a Water-type followed by an uninvested Discharge to potentially spread para to enemies while activating your ally's Weakness Policy and Overclock for +2 offenses and +1 Speed.
Type: Bug / Poison
Ability: Corrosion / Merciless / Cruelty
Cruelty: When this Pokemon's on the field, it receives +1 Attack for every Pokemon that gets a status condition, or if one switches in that already has. Does not include itself.
Base Stats:
95 / 85 / 100 / 40 / 90 / 95
Useful moves
Physical: Megahorn, Leech Life, U-turn, Pin Missile, Mortal Spin, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Barb Barrage, Stomping Tantrum, Aqua Tail
Special: N/A
Status: Baneful Bunker, Toxic Spikes, Toxic Thread, Toxic, Poison Gas, Venom Drench
Egg Group: Bug
Weight: 0.6 kgs
Size: 0.1 m
Gender: Both
Competitive use: This thing's main job is to spread poison throughout the opponent's team, and you can either use Corrosion to affect Steels and Poisons, or you can use Cruelty to directly benefit off it. With Cruelty, you could even switch in your own Guts / Poison Heal users like Hariyama and Snorlax to give it an Attack boost.
Is it broken? Without Cruelty boosts it doesn't hit very hard, and its attacking movepool isn't exactly great - beyond its STABs which have poor coverage, it only gets Aqua Tail and Stomping Tantrum.
Type: Normal / Flying
Ability: Trace
Base stats: 51 / 69 / 71 / 69 / 71 / 70
Useful moves
Physical: Brave Bird, Double-Edge, Close Combat, U-turn, Steel Wing, Drill Run, Facade
Special: Hurricane, Hyper Voice, Air Cannon, Boomburst, Heat Wave
Status: Tailwind, Taunt, Roost, Sing, Helping Hand, After You, Skill Swap, Role Play, Copy Cry
Copy Cry: Status, Normal Type, 1 PP, 100% accuracy. 1 target. Copies the target's ability permanently, only losing it when it's put in a non-battle box. Doesn't work on abilities that Trace can't copy, as well as Wonder Guard. Cannot be Sketched.
Egg group: Flying
Weight: 2.1 kgs
Size: 0.3 m
Gender: Both
Competitive use: Despite its bad base stats, the ability to have almost any ability means it can always have some kind of niche. Prankster gives it priority Tailwind, Taunt and After You. No Guard lets you throw around perfectly accurate Hurricanes and, more importantly, Sing. If you want damage, you could even give it Huge Power.
Is it broken? Those stats are just terrible, and with its bland Normal/Flying typing it doesn't bring anything to the table defensively. 100% accurate Sleep might sound broken, but it has the same Speed tier as Breloom, which also hits much harder and has better defensive typing. Offensive sets are also let down by that average speed, needing a Scarf or secondary Tailwind setter to do its thing. It can't even run Focus Sash, since both its STABs have recoil.
You mentioned abilities like Shadow Tag in the explanation, but are there any legal mons with that ability? Can you just copy abilities that aren't in this hypothetical game or are you limited only by Trace restrictions?

Good point. I’ll edit it to be abilities on Pokemon in this mod, so it can’t have Shadow Tag as of yet, as no Shadow Tag mons are here. It can have Arena Trap though (Tapinch)
Gonna throw my hand in for two (potential) migrants from a future Generation X, if my region ever gets voted for.
Name: Operfowl (Sichuan Opera + Performer + Fowl) Typing: Normal Ability: Showtime Base Stats: 65 / 75 / 95 / 75 / 95 / 60 (465) Notable Moves: Dual Wingbeat, Aerial Ace, Acrobatics, Pluck, Brave Bird, Sky Attack, Air Slash, Hurricane, Defog, Feather Dance, Mirror Move, Roost, Tailwind, Feint, Fake Out, Rapid Spin, Facade, Body Slam, Take Down, Double-Edge, Giga Impact, Endeavor, Uproar, Hyper Beam, Attract, Helping Hand, Mean Look, Protect, Scary Face, Sleep Talk, Snore, Whirlwind, Shadow Sneak, Night Shade, Hex, Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray, Foul Play, Psycho Cut, Zen Headbutt, Psychic Noise, Esper Wing, Rest, Temper Flare, Heat Wave, Ice Spinner, Icy Wind, Blizzard, U-Turn, Quiver Dance, Upper Hand, Victory Dance Height + Weight: 1.6 m + 36.8 kg
Egg Group: Fairy, Flying Flavour/Design: Based on Bian Lian, an ancient Chinese performing art that involves the rapid changing of face masks, and a bird.
Flavour Text: Whenever an attack is used in battle, the Pokémon will immediately copy and use that attack itself if it has yet to act. Ability Effect: If the Pokemon has yet to execute its move for that turn, whenever another Pokémon successfully uses a damaging move, a Pokémon with the Ability Showtime will immediately use that move as well. Using a move through Showtime is a separate action to using the move originally selected. Showtime will not activate for a move copied by another Pokémon through Showtime or Dancer, but it will activate on an instructed move.
Showtime will not activate if the Pokemon or its Trainer has already used its selected move that turn. Showtime will not activate if all of the move's targets are protected by a protection move or are in semi-invulnerable turn of a move, would miss due to the user's accuracy or the target's evasion, or immune by virtue of their type and/or Ability. If the Pokémon with Showtime is confused, it may hurt itself instead of copying the move. If the Pokémon has flinched, this also applies to moves it subsequently tries to copy with Showtime. A Pokémon with Showtime that is locked into a consecutively executed move (such as Outrage or Rollout) or any move by Encore or a held Choice item will still try to copy the move, but will fail unless it is locked into that same move.
Moves used via Showtime are not considered the move used most recently (such as for the purpose of Instruct, Mimic or Mirror Move), but damage dealt by them is considered for the purpose of Counter, Mirror Coat, Metal Burst, and Comeuppance.
If an ally uses a single-target move on an opponent, then the copied move will always target the same opponent when copied by Showtime unless it fulfils one of the above criteria that would otherwise cause Showtime to not activate; otherwise, a copied single-target move will always target a random eligible opponent.
Name: Lothiducki (Lovey-dovey + loathe + duck) Typing: Water/Flying Ability: Limerence* Base Stats: 88 / 110 / 69 / 70 / 69 / 79 (485) Movepool:
- Lvl up: Quash, Attract, Water Gun, Curse, Fairy Wind, Dual Wingbeat, Draining Kiss, Chilling Water, Pluck, Substitute, Scald, Alluring Voice, Muddy Water, Brave Bird, Destiny Bond
- Egg: Ally Switch, Aqua Cutter, Beat Up, Feather Dance, Foul Play, Tickle,
- TMs: Hone Claws, Toxic, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Hidden Power, Rain Dance, Taunt, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Venoshock, Protect, Roost, Frustration, Return, Double Team, Swift, Sludge Bomb, Aerial Ace, Facade, Rest, Thief, Fling, Steel Wing, Play Rough, Nasty Plot, Acrobatics, Fly, Sleep Talk, Snore, U-Turn, Surf, Snarl, Dark Pulse, Waterfall; Air Slash, Assurance, Defog, Giga Drain, Gunk Shot, Hurricane, Hydro Pump, Hyper Voice, Icy Wind, Imprison, Knock Off, Leech Seed, Pain Split, Phantom Force, Snatch, Tailwind, Water Pulse;* Flip Turn, Air Cutter, Sucker Punch, Lash Out, Fake Tears, Flatter, Memento, Torment, Hex, Spite, Twister, Sludge Wave, Mud-Slap, Feint, Fury Attack, Last Resort, Uproar, Captivate, Whirlwind Height + Weight: 1.2 m + 11.2 kg Flavour/Design: Based on mandarin ducks, who are associated with everlasting love in Asian countries, and come in a pair like Tandemaus & Maushold. Much like Bombirdier, though, this pair of Pokemon play with that image by focusing on dysfunctional romance instead, and their gimmick is mostly just hax. They have a gender difference, with the 'male' being much more colourful and flamboyant while the 'female' is in turn monochrome and secretive. As the two are always a pair, though, this forme difference mostly accounts for who in the pair is the love martyr that's covered in weeds and cowers in battle beside its abusive partner.
- Lothiducki's stats also partially involve a bit of number play. 88, as we know from Pecharunt & its Retainers, is considered lucky, but can also mean terrible or dangerous. Just gonna skip past its defense stats. Its BST 485 can be read in Chinese as potentially very unlucky: 4 can be interpreted as death, 8 can be interpreted as 'all for nothing', and 5 as whimpering or crying.
Ability Effect: If a Pokémon with this Ability uses a move that does not target the user, there is a 20% chance the target will either become infatuated (if it is of the opposite gender) or confused (if it is of the same gender or is genderless). Limerance's chances also apply independently for each hit of a multistrike move. If this Ability triggers when using the move Knock Off on a target with a Mental Herb or a Persim Berry, the item will be consumed to cure the condition instead of being removed by Knock Off's effect. Being infatuated this way does not trigger an opponent's Destiny Knot.
Trivia: As defined on Wikipedia, limerence refers to being madly in love or intensely infatuated when reciprocation of the feeling is uncertain.
Now that I have some time, here are my thoughts on some of the subs I've seen so far.
- Urchill. The tools it has makes it a little bit different from Tatsugiri, which is nice. That said, I don't know how I feel about Beartic being affected by Commander. Dondozo is balanced by its low Spe and tame Atk stats, giving players enough options to deal with it. Beartic, on the other hand, is much less bulky and has a worse defensive typing but it makes up for it with good Spe (for Commander) and great Atk stat. It literally outspeeds every non Choice Scarf Pokémon and can resort to Icicle Crash and Earthquake to hit really hard. This greatly limits counterplay. I would personally prefer a different receiver of the stat boosts.
- Agilder and Mechanoise have much more BST than what is allowed for the current slate, which is 500 BST. Afterimage is a little bit unintuitive in what it tries to do. I'm not sure if it makes sense for the opponent to be able to hit the user twice considering you are attacking an afterimage, and there are also issues with spread moves which, in theory, will also target the target's ally. I think just making the user hit twice at 50% power (and not affecting spread moves and multi-strike moves) and receiving half damage might be enough.
- Mockatoo is too weak for the gimmick to work since it has unoptimized stats. Moreover, even if it had well distributed stats, you waste a turn to get an ability. I doubt acquiring an ability will make that "waiting turn" worth it. It would be a different story if the user was sth like Slaking (with a mediocre or hindering ability) and if the move actually did damage but just have the effect being limited once or sth.
- Operfowl. It's great to see a sub from someone new here. It perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the gimmick slate while also being really powerful at it. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be broken since you have free damage which can be quickly accumulated during a turn, up to three times (ally + 2 opposing Pokémon) if the conditions are met. I could easily see Operfowl click Protect and have an ally boosts the former's stats with Coaching. However, I think we would have to see this Pokémon in action first to see if it's really overpowered, but it might not hurt to think about potential nerfs. That said, am I right to assume that the copied move chooses a random target if it's single target? Or does it attack the Pokémon from whom it has copied the move?
Type: Electric / Water Abilities: Thundercloud / Damp | Forewarn Thundercloud: Using a Water-type move summons Electric Terrain, and using an Electric-type move summons rain; both field effect applies before damage calculation. Stats: 70 HP / 92 ATK / 68 DEF / 95 SpA / 70 SpD / 105 SPE (BST: 500)
Notable Moves: Rising Voltage, Thunder, Hurricane, Thunderbolt, Hydro Pump, Wave Crash, Volt Tackle, Zing Zap, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Aqua Jet, Supercell Slam, Air Slash, Liquidation / Waterfall, Volt Switch, Flip Turn, Thunder Wave, Life Dew, Protect, Recalibration, East Sea Wave (+ Surf as all Pokémon that learn Surf also learn this move in this Pet Mod), Ice Beam, Ice Punch, Focus Punch, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Knock Off, Yawn, Simple Beam, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind
Weight: 72.2 kg Gender: 50-50 Design: Unlike regular Golduck, Xelian Golduck retain it’s yellow feathers / skin it used to have as a Psyduck, and the spikes of it’s head and claws are shaped like thunderbolts.
Description: It’s gimmick revolve using one of it’s STAB to summon a field condition with the move of the other type. It may seems counterproductive, but it allows Xelian Golduck to work as a support, offensive pivot or a setup sweeper. Thunder in particular can work for it’s Special Attack oriented sets due to already benefitting Rain.
(Originally Xelian Luxray with same type, but I realized the BST limit is 500, so I sadly have to replace it with Xelian Golduck)

Hmmm, considering a frozen urchin can't fit well in the mouths of any of the other Ice and Water-types we have here, I might consider replacing him soon with someone who has a REAL gimmick.....

I was under the impression it works like Smeargle, where it sticks around after each match, meaning it can basically have any ability. The custom move only exists for the reason Sketch does.

You mean in theory you could choose an ability in the teamuilder depending on what is in the metagame? In that case, that would be a different story. I was under the impression you copy an ability of a target and that ability remains throughout the game.

Copy Cry works like Sketch, you use in on a Pokemon then you have that ability until you put Mockatoo back in the box. In the games I would have it copy the Pokemon’s cry

In an ideal world, Showtime operates much like Dancer: the copied move attacks the same target if it was from an ally, and a random target if it was from an opponent. That said, I'm also open to it being always a random target choice much like Metronome, or perhaps smart targeting like Dragon Darts.
On an unrelated note, been seeing this Pet Mod operate for awhile. When Gen Ten starts and those of us at the Generation X Pet Mod (might need a slight rebrand) start the fifth chapter in turn, might take a few cues.
*Update: Nerfed Operfowl by swiping away its Fairy-type associations and some of its attacking stats and bulk, along with tweaking Showtime, so it should be more manageable. If only I can just find a proper Chinese bird...
Ok everyone, it's voting time! We're not going to have another slate after this for a few weeks, since I'm going to be focusing on the Draft Tournament. That will start once the winners of this slate have been implemented. You may vote for 2 Pokemon. They can both be submitted by the same user, but as always, you may not vote for your own Pokemon. The 3 Pokemon with the most votes will go through.

Description: 1) Concept
- Frosmoth-Ma'adowr and its other counterpart basically look the same, even where colour is concerned, making it generally very difficult to distinguish it from its base form. Usually, Frosmoth-Ma'adowr lives in warmer regions, unlike its original form, and it evolves at day.
- The Normal type plays with the different colours and motifs on a moth's wings.
- Fwiw, Frosmoth-Ma'adowr looses almost any Ice-type move, except for moves like Icy Wind.
Description: 2) Competitive
- Frosmoth-Ma'adowr is the face of "Type Swapping" where the secondary Bug type offers defensive and offensive value to any other type. For instance, Fire, Electric, Ground, Rock, and Steel appreciate the Ground neutrality while Dark or Psychic may appreciate the fact that Bug hits opposing Dark Pokémon for super-effective damage.
- Currently, there's no viable Quiver Dance user in the format. So, Frosmoth-Ma'adowr can neatly fill this niche and fit on many teams since it also provides speed control in Tailwind and Icy Wind and has tools like Wide Guard to protect the team. Wide Guard is also valuable for any team trying to stack types since you basically nullify spread moves that might hurt your susceptible team otherwise. Dispersion, on the other hand, can make up for an ally not attacking. This could happen if the new ally was sent out during a turn, for instance.
- As a Scale Shift user, Frosmoth-Ma'adowr allows for skill expression since at any point in the game, you can change its primary type to gain defensive or offensive advantage. At the same time, Frosmoth-Ma'adowr is well balanced by its rather mediocre stats for the most part, such as Def and Spe. Moreover, Dispersion can be easily shut down by Wide Guard.
- Alternatively, you could rely on Fur Coat. When combined with Quiver Dance, they technically make Frosmoth-Ma'adowr resilient on both defensive sides.

Description: 1) Concept
- If you are familiar with TCG, you might recognize where Pikachu-Tag comes from. This Pokémon is incompatible with Eviolite and Light Ball and has its movepool based on both Pikachu and Zekrom. Here's the image: View attachment 746685
Description: 2) Competitive
- Pikachu-Tag's main gimmick is Tag Bolt to encourage teamwork. Moreover, it has tools like Nuzzle, Dragon Dance, and Scale Shot to activate this signature move more likely or to enable Electro Ball.
- Electric/Dragon comes with a useful resistance profile and will perfectly work with the common Fire/Water/Grass core while also being able to pressure such a core. With access to Fake Out, Breaking Swipe, Nuzzle or Feint, Pikachu-Tag can greatly support the team. Moreover, Stormbreaker is pretty much anti-metagame because it pressures the normally Electric-immune Swampert-Rift and forces the centralising Wizareetin-Gravelord to avoid clicking Electric moves. While there are Lightning Rod users in Zebstrika and Zebsonavolt, the former is underwhelming while the latter prefers Inflammation.
- While Pikachu-Tag's stats are rather mediocre, they should be enough for bulk investment and Assault Vest if you so desire. Furthermore, moves like Bolt Strike or Draco Meteor havee high BP and can make up for the rather modest offensive stats.
Name: Tarousel (Tarot + Carousel) Type: Stats: 85/32/108/65/110/45 (445) Abilities: Mirror Armor/Forewarn/Rotator
New Ability: Rotator: When Tarousel is sent out, all Pokémon on the battlefield will gain the Rotate Attack if they do not already know it, being added to their moveset. This includes the Tarousel itself. A Pokémon knowing Rotate will forget it if it switches out. Rotate is a 1 PP Ally Switch clone, except it is a Steel-type move. However, it will fail if there is not a Tarousel on the battlefield. This ability cannot be Traced, swapped, nulified, or removed. Weight: 142.3 lbs. Physical Moves: Sunsteel Strike, Foul Play, Knock Off, Lash Out, Flame Charge, Flare Blitz, Temper Flare, Phantom Force, Take Down, Facade, Giga Impact, Endeavor, Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Heavy Slam, Gyro Ball, Hard Press Special Moves: Wailing Wraith, Moongeist Beam, Passive Aggressive, Confusion, Synchronoise, Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Spin, Heat Wave, Flamethrower, Overheat, Burning Jealousy, Shadow Ball, Swift, Hyper Beam, Tera Blast, Psybeam, Psyshock, Psychic, Future Sight, Expanding Force, Psychic Noise, Steel Beam, Flash Cannon Status Moves: Ally Switch, Teleport, Safeguard, Taunt, Thunder Wave, Confuse Ray, Spite, Curse, Protect, Rest, Substitute, Sleep Talk, Psych Up, Reflect, Light Screen, Imprison, Trick, Trick Room, Psychic Terrain, Iron Defense Flavor: Tarousel is a living carousel that is said to have come from a fun fair owned by a fortune tellers that, with her enchanted tarot deck, could predict any future correctly. When she perished, her deck supposedly fused itself with the carousel to form Tarousel, whose presence can be noted by the sounding of a creepy tune that sounds like a broken music box. It has a carousel seat for each tarot card, and if you ride on them, you will feel that tarot's fortune become a reality in front of your very eyes. Role: Tarousel is a rather unique wall that has the power to grant everyone a one-time Ally Switch that only works while it is out. Using this Ally Switch, you can have your Pokémon swap places with Tarousel to absorb a deadly blow, and although it's offenses aren't the best in the world, it can provide it's own support by setting up screens and Trick Room. Tarousel's defences are through the roof, and it's typing grants it four weaknesses, so Sun teams and Gravelord Wizareetin will excel at frying it: Compared to Bronzong, a similar wall with the same typing as Tarousel, Tarousel has slightly less defences (To be honest, though, Tarousel's stats are worse than Bronzong's in every way but it's HP and Speed, which are higher) but has a lot more utility. It also gets access to Moongeist Beam, one of the most powerful Special Ghost-type moves. However, you must remember that your enemies also get the free Ally Switches as well! Should Rotator not fit your tastes, it also has access to Mirror Armor, which can deflect stat reductions, and Forewarn, which can help scout out enemy moves. When playing against it, be careful when you Rotate: If your Pokémon use Rotate and Tarousel switches out, they will do nothing on that turn!

It's a very friendly Pokémon that spreads it's bubbles far and wide to help clean up dirty areas, but it is also a germophobe, refusing to leave an area until all of the dirt in an area is gone. The bubbles that make up it's wings can be shaped into any shape imaginable, and they can be used to cover an entire forest in soap bubbles that never go away. True to it's typing, it does not get along well with Araquanid. Role: A rather chaotic Pokémon with an unholy combination of Water Bubble and Quiver Dance, it may have low Special Attack, but once it sets up with Quiver Dance, it can use East Sea Wave to wipe out the competition, also supporting both Lullux's rain and it's Misty Surge ability that can protect it from status conditions. It also has an amazing typing, as well as Kecleon's Color Change ability as a gimmick. However, it's really vulnerable to Gravelord Wizareetin. Compared to Araquanid, the other Water Bubble user, Popillion has less defences in exchange for more HP and speed.
Name combines "Aviguti", a term referring to the inuit name for the Milky Way, which acts in part as a barrier between the living and the dead, and "Jackdaw", a type of corvid. Sort of mixing wells between Auroras and the Milky Way here, but I don't really have time to iron this out any more. Visually think of what might happen if the Witch-like elements of Murkrow were emphasized in an evolution vs the Mafia Grunt elements, with a color scheme of dark purple and extremely bright aurora patterns/colors.
Resonance
Ice, 70 BP, 100 Acc, 5 PP, Special, Spread, 0 priority(!)
Sound-Based
If the user took damage in the same turn before using this move then, after landing this attack, the user's side of the field is protected by Aurora Veil. This effect does not require Snow as a prerequisite.
This is definitely a design that aims to leverage a couple of especially powerful tools. Resonanceis an extremely powerful tool on a slow and bulky Pokemon, allowing a team to play positions to either bait attacks into Avigutaw to get Aurora Veil as crucial bulk for a portion of the battle or to make it a prickly target that can freely use disruptive tools like Will-O-Wisp, Icy Wind, Snarl, or Parting Shot. Resonance being an attack makes it unaffected by Taunt, Avigutaw being a Ghost type makes it immune to Fake Out, and the effect being tied to a spread move that can't be protected by one foe all come together to make it difficult to disrupt Resonance through passive means. On the other side of that coin, Last Respects is an infamously powerful attack in the right situations, here giving Avigutaw a tool to alleviate what could otherwise end up being a cripplingly passive playstyle while also letting it potentially run a more direct offense set despite it's low Attack. Together, these tools make for a pretty gimmicky kit that can force prickly positions.
*This is aiming to be a variant of Honchkrow, which itself has 505 BST. I could change it to be 500 if we want to be sticklers, or wait to submit this another time but I hope you simply don't mind the small stretch of the rules.

BlueRay's Frosmoth should probably be turned into a Xelian form to match the regional starters instead, since Ma'adowr is their solomod and not part of VGC 20xx.
So I've been thinking more about the draft tournament we're going to have, and I have a preliminary ruleset. Please let me know what you think.
Double elimination until semi finals
Each player is given a starting budget of P$1000
The order of the players is randomized
Each player takes it in turns to nominate a Pokemon.
Once you've got a full team of 6, you may not nominate any more
If no one bids on it, the player who nominated it gets it for P$50
If a Pokemon has multiple forms legal in the format, you can choose which form to use
You cannot change the Pokemon between rounds, but you can change their movesets
Currently have a Google sheet of an example of what it'll look like here.
The original plan was to meet on Showdown in the room where VGC20XX is normally played, but on further reflection I think we might be better off heading for a Private Discord Room.
I was too busy and still am to write any detailed post. Suffice to say it can't hurt to establish some rules as to what happens if a bug occurs during a match. Even with all the testing Sugarbear and I do, there might still be some stuff we overlooked.
As for the votes, they go to Samtendo's Golduck and Genuine_Angus's Avigutraw.
I forgot to vote in this, I had my votes on Frosmoth-M and Golduck-X so I guess that works out. (Though Volt Tackle on Golduck-X is kind of a lot I think, Zing Zap / Supercell should be fine)
Abilities: Mirror Armor/Forewarn/Rotator
Rotator: When Tarousel is sent out, all Pokémon on the battlefield will gain the Rotate Attack if they do not already know it, being added to their moveset.
This is like... 60% of the way to being one of the coolest mon concepts I've seen in a while, and the main reason I wouldn't vote for it is because the actualization of the concept is just too weirdly concocted to function. Ally Switch itself is a decent move to give your team access to, but because it reliably costs an action to use, Rotator's actual impact on a match is relatively low, especially when Tarousel itself is woefully passive. I would love to see something along these lines resubmitted further down the line with a rework to Rotator that makes the turn economy issue a bit less impactful. There are lots of potential options for the specifics of this - one that comes to mind is forcing both teams to Ally Switch whenever Tarousel enters the field, but I'm more just wanting to come back to this at some point.

Showtime is very interesting, but with this statline and typing it isn't actually very effective. 75 / 75 offenses with a Normal typing is very weak, and with Showtime specifically locked to copying Damage Dealing moves, there aren't that many moves that are going to do amazing things when activated through the ability. Even in the relevant cases where Operfowl is playing into a foe whose strategy is supportive damage dealing moves like Struggle Bug or Icy Wind, or the foe is attacking with a type that they are themselves weak to, 65 / 95/ 95 bulk with 1 resistance is really unimpressive for being able to force those kinds of moves into being used - consider that Ghost types will often not even want to use a Ghost move while this is on the field. It also doesn't help that the utility attack of VGC, Fake Out, has an entirely positive interaction against this ability. Really, this just wants more stats and slightly more than a complete blank slate typing.
Lastly Lothiducki is a really cute concept but mechanically I am pretty much never going to gravitate towards a Confusion + Infatuation spreader in a purely competitive setting.

For this... you gotta outline more details. When it's happening and where it's being hosted at the very least. I can't commit to joining without a timeline. Could it be a distinct thread?
I also think it might be more productive to do a standard tiered draft board format rather than the style of draft from that Wolfe / Aaron invitational series I'm pretty sure this is coming from. Despite our low understanding of the format, I think we can pretty reliably pick out the vague top 30ish pokemon in this format, and I'd love to see a few weaker picks shine. If we do stick with the Invitational format, I do like the concept of sticking with the exact same open teamsheet across all games.
