not sure how to explain it but despite having genders in game chandelure exudes nonbinary energy unmatched by the overwhelming majority of the pokedex. significantly more than litwick and lampent who i view as female and male respectively. i will not justify my answers today.
saw the jimothy cool umamusume stream and randomly decided to rank the OU tier's gayness based solely off vibes.
9. Gen 3
Gen 3 is like the dudebro shonen anime of OU tiers. It's just a bunch of guys throwing hands. Just off the castlist alone it's like the heavy hitters were hand-picked by a 13 year old who just got a reddit account.
8. Gen 4
A lot of the same things from gen 3 apply here but rachi gets more of a limelight (unfortunately) so that's a free gaypoint to them
7. Gen 8
This tier is in a similar spot to gen 4 and is honestly interchangeable but glowking and the tapus are solid enough LGBTQ rep that i'll give them the edge here.
6. Gen 6
Not super knowledgeable on this tier but it doesn't give off het vibes like the past 3 so i'm slapping it here.
5. Gen 5
This whole tier just feels like a handful of polycules getting together at a bar once a month. I'd get into which members of each archetype seem like the designated driver (it's ttar, tentacruel, and sun doesn't have one) but that's a long-winded conversation and frankly could be its own thread.
4. Gen 1
The only tier where psychic is good. Everyone in that tier seems like tumblr user material but i'm calling out zam and starmie specifically for being one of those witchcraft tarot card lesbians and chansey kinda reminds me of my 10th grade physics teacher who was openly lesbian
3. Gen 2
Snorlax is on every team. This whole tier is full of bear-on-bear (is snorlax a bear?) fighting. It's like a niche fighting game tourament for something like UNI or Blazblue where everyone attending is kinda fruity but the two best players are a chubby gay dude and some white boy who only got into the genre because MBAACC is free and he has some friends there.
2. Gen 9
I will not be justifying this. Instead I will list tier staples and assume my point gets across:

Iron Valiant
Dragonite

1. Gen 7
Pretty clear shoo-in for the number 1 spot. Big shiny z-moves, mega evolutions, magearna, the tapus. Just a whole humdrum of gay pokemon fan favorites. It's like a gay bar condensed into a pokemon tier. They even have ferrothorn as the straight dude who goes in not knowing it's a gay bar then gets confused when men keep hitting on him.
