Welcome to Minior Circuit I: Battle Factory! Showcase your mastery of different Smogon tiers in this Single Elimination best-of-3 series (best-of-5 in Quarterfinals onward) tournament featuring competitive sets inspired by official singles Smogon formats. This is the second tournament in our first ever Minior Circuit, featuring some of the more niche but still popular randomised metas on offer!
The winner of this Battle Factory tournament will receive the Room Prize Winner rank for a month, be inducted into the Randbats Hall of Fame, and be awarded points for the Minior Circuit (standings spreadsheet pending), with the winner of the Playoff Round for the circuit earning their choice of a PS! username colour change or username reset, and Room Prize Winner rank for a year!
How does this tour work?
1. Contact your opponent on their Smogon Wall and decide on a time to battle.
2. Battle each other in the format "Battle Factory" (found under the "Randomized Metas" dropdown menu).
3. The first player to 2 wins (3 for Quarterfinals onward) advances to the next round.
How does the "Battle factory" format work?
In Battle Factory you roll an official singles Smogon format at the beginning of the game. Both teams will be made only of viable Pokémon within that format. The set generation is also different, where sets are fully pre-made, complete with EV Spreads and Natures, and one is chosen at random. The command for sets is /battlefactory [Pokémon], [Format]. The percentage in the set command is how likely that set is to be chosen.
Please note:
1. All scheduling attempts MUST be done publicly on Smogon Walls. No other proof of communication will count for act calls regarding scheduling attempts.
2. If participate in any of the future tours in the Circuit after changing your Smogon name, LET US KNOW in your future signup post.
3. You MUST post replays of your wins. Any battles without replays will need to be replayed.
