Starting it out with the GOAT
:sv/pinsir-mega:
Pinsir-Mega @ Pinsirite
Ability: Aerilate
Happiness: 0
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Frustration
- Close Combat/Earthquake
- Quick Attack/Feint

Feint hits weavile and lopunny better at the cost of some damage. Goes through protect too i think.
Pinsir is a great breaker, and a very strong pokemon, but also very hard to build around. Excited to see what you all can cook with this guy. I feel like in this very fat meta, pinsir can truly shine. Good luck!

- Substitute

im making my own version with this but i NEED to see someone else make this so they can see the method to my madness. ghost typing + ground immunity lets you spinblock on tusk and treads all day without having to fear eq, wisp lets you cripple garchomp since you're faster, sub lets you annoy the shit out of mola and gliscor and split keeps you healthy. mystical fire is an option if you want to giga own pagos but i like hex a lot more

Click Thousand Arrows a billion times and win. Extreme Speed snipes faster stuff like Mega Lopunny or boosted Volcarona. Outrage is mostly filler but helps a bit vs defensive teams that lack Fairy-types. Glare and Toxic punish switches but Glare focuses more on punishing offensive mons like Ogerpon-W while Toxic punishes stuff like Slowbro. I have this team if you need a reference but it SUCKS.

SD Xard in theory can reprise its niche from SM OU and SS ND as a pick on Balances and Fats to break other balances and check/soft check a few important threats such as Kart, Yard, Volc, and Victini. My issue is that not only is balance hard to build, but fitting the stuff thats good with this set like removal/cleric support/wish isnt an easy task, I'd love for this set to be experimented with on Balanced/Fat. The spread lives offensive Torn Skystrike from full, outspeeds defensive Ghold, and lives Offensive Lando EQ from full. You can make your own spread if you want to! 252 252 works tho too

why not run sd scale shot?

Requesting Mega Camerupt, more specifically Nature Power Mega Camerupt with a grassy terrain setter and enough Speed EVs to Outspeed Min Speed Mola to bait in and KO it with Nature Power on Gterrain calling energy ball, boosted by sheer force and Terrain for a power around 150.

I actualy really enjoyed this team

:zygarde-10%: :choice-band: the featured mon

:sv/Charizard-mega-x: :sv/Gholdengo: :sv/Landorus-Therian: :sv/Toxapex: :sv/Ferrothorn: :sv/Terapagos-Terastal:

Roost Mega Charziard X is generally a nice early game breaker. I've always wanted to build this but never had the motivation to do lol.

Team description:

:charizard-mega-x: Charizard: Functions as the team's main breaker, taking advantage of passive teams to setup or just being a really nice setup mon during the early or late game.

:Gholdengo: Gholdengo: Supports the team with it's usual paraspam set. I've run Shuca Berry mainly to lure Great Tusk, Landorus-T and Garchomp with Make It Rain. MIR also helps vs Diancie.

:landorus-therian: Landorus-T: Speed control of the team. Helps with offensively pressuring Diancie, Garchomp, Heatran and Gholdengo.
Explosion is ran over Stone Edge to catch mons like Zamaezenta, M-Latios and Gliscor off-guard.

:toxapex: Toxapex: Toxapex helps with walling Charizard Y, M-Lopunny and Zamazenta. Fairly a standard set, but with Payapa berry to lure Tapu Lele, M-Medicham and M-Latios to get a toxic off.

:Ferrothorn: Ferrothorn: Ferrothorn and Toxapex pair up extremely well defensively. Ferrothorn is pretty diverse imo, and other moves should be ran on it. It runs Body Press here mainly for luring Kingambit while also having the added benefit of hitting Kyurem. Thunder Wave is ran as a secondary option, helping Charizard have an easier time against faster threats.

:terapagos-terastal: Terapagos: Finally, I added Terapagos for a secondary removal option and a Specially oriented breaker. Modest terapagos is cool since you get to 2HKO Ghold with Earth Power, as well as hit Heatran. Also, it's ability makes of great use to revenge kill when a Setup mon goes out of hand.

Threats:

:Latios-Mega: Latios: Latios always has good matchups into such teams with it's Lusture Purge + Mystical Fire set. The way you can probably play around it is with luring it with Toxapex, using Landorus in a mindful way, and using Terapagos if needed.

:Garchomp: Garchomp: Swords Dance Garchomp sets in particular, is a tough MU. You can play around it with Terapagos, Landorus and Gholdengo.

:Zapdos: Zapdos: Offensive Zapdos sets are really good into this since it always forces a switch into Landorus, Ferrothorn and Gholdengo. To beat it, you need to keep momentum up with making predicts often when needed.

:Heatran: Heatran: Last but not the least, Heatran with both it's offensive and defensiev sets always finds a way to break these teams. To comfortably beat it, you want to keep Toxapex healthy, and use Earth Power from Terapagos whenever it's in a range of a KO.

Hope you enjoy the team!

Hello everyone! Hope y'all are good! Well, I am asking for a team featuring my favorite Paradox-Pókemon: Iron Hands! I tried to built with it, but always fell short! Therefore I feel you guys could help me to create a team featuring Iron Hands, my bulky friend! So here's the set for Iron Hands:

Iron Hands @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Quark Drive
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 116 SpD / 140 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
- Thunder Punch
- Ice Punch

As always, feel free to take your time into building a team, there's no need to rush. If you guys are able to make a decent team with it, I'd be very grateful! Thank you for your time and I'll wish you the best of luck!

Zapdos-Galar @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Close Combat / Thunderous Kick
- Brave Bird
- Substitute / Taunt

Fighting type that doesn't fold into either Landorus-T or Alomomola? Good wallbreaker? Works well on hazard stack, screens HO and webs HO? I know it sucks versus Gholdengo and Zapdos but notice how it's just that...
I actually had fun using that team with the Galarian Zapdos set you provided here.
:sv/zapdos-galar: :sv/latios-mega: :sv/ferrothorn:
:sv/landorus-therian: :sv/tapu-lele: :sv/terapagos-terastal:

(Press any Pokemon for the paste)

TEAM MEMBERS AND REASON OF CHOICE

:zapdos-galar: : The teams main set up sweeper. With Defiant you can punish Defog and Intimidate users by gaining +2 in Attack in the most free way possible. Flyinium Z lets Galarian Zapdos deal enormous damage, clearing important threats in early-mid game. Taunt hinders any status, setup attempts, as well as hazard removal. Galarian Zapdos fares well versus set up sweepers such as Volcarona, Z-Dragonite (assuming we have rocks on the field), Ogerpon-Wellspring and other Pokemon such as Zamazenta and Urshifu-Rapid Strike.

:latios-mega: : Mega Latios is the main breaker. Brings a lot of needed damage to the table, while taking advantage of its part Dragon typing, which Zapdos and Ferrothorn appreciates. Does pretty well into Balance and Offensive structures. Typical Luster Purge+Mystical Fire and Aura Sphere/Ice Beam as the other coverage option, depending on what you want to check. Mega Latios canbe a huge asset to all stages of the game.

:ferrothorn: : Defensive Pokemon which enables hazard stacking, as well as being part Steel type. Ferrothorn and Mega Latios form a nice pair, in Ferrothorn's case, it can set hazards which help Latios to break easier, as well as switch in vs Fairy moves, which Latios doesn't like taking that hit. Leech Seed helps a lot with team's passive recovery while chipping away threats in early to mid-game. Knock Off over Gyro Ball is a valid option since you can remove important items, namely Leftovers for Pokemon who lack recovery, Heavy Duty Boots which makes your hazard stacking more potent, scouting for Z-Moves, etc.

:landorus-therian: : Another Pokemon with Defensive utility, with Taunt/Rocks to prevent setup and utility moves and setting hazards respectively. Intimidate is arguably the best ability, if not one of the best already, punishing Physical attackers, further forcing the opponent to use a set up move, or switch. Rocky Helmet is very nice for chipping pivot attempts and breaking Multiscale or Tera Shell. U-Turn to grant momentum and having another way to break Multiscale or Tera Shell.

:tapu-lele: : Speed Control which also breaks and has a Terrain in which denies priority moves. Neat Pokemon which, like Mega Latios, does well into Balance and Offense but it can also do a neat job into Stall, hitting Chansey/Blissey/Clodsire on their Physical Side. Also hits Mega Sableye.

:terapagos-terastal: : The spinner of the team. Tera Shell is broken, even though it is an one-time use, you can lure Pokemon such as Great Tusk/Urshifu/Zamazenta for Latios and Lele, spin safely and act as a decent wallbreaker. Changing the nature from Timid to Modest helps a lot with wallbreaking. Slotting Earth Power over Flamethrower or Ice Beam is a valid option if you wish to have a better match up versus Heatran.

MATCH UPS

:heatran: : If you preserve Galarian Zapdos and Landorus-T, this is a clear match up on your favor. Slotting Earth Power on Terapagos would make the match up even easier.

:latios-mega: : On these kind of structures Latios has a clear match up because of its wide coverage options. Lele does helps a lot with this match up and Landorus-T can do enough with U-Turn unless Latios has Ice Beam. Our Latios prays that the opposing one doesn't have Draco Meteor or Ice beam, while Terapagos has a medium-low chance to win vs non-Aura Sphere variants.

:raging-bolt: : Lele and Lando should check Bolt, Ferrothorn resists all of its STAB's and can use Leech Seed to chip it away. Hazards also limit Raging Bolt unless it is some Pivot set with Heavy Duty Boots, which again both Lele and Lando check. For Mega Latios, in order to win vs it, you must have set all 3 spikes layers, set rocks beforehand and before it switches in, it must be at exactly 80% HP in order for Luster Purge to have a 100% chance to KO. Very specific scenario for sure, though it can be achieved in a specific number of games by preserving your hazards.

:Kingambit: : Galarian Zapdos is the only Pokemon which can directly threat Kingambit both offensively and defensively. Tapu Lele can offensively threaten it and can deny its Sucker Punch via Terrain support, but if you miss a Focus Blast you are done for, Knock Off at Zero Supreme Overlord stacks almost always OHKO's. Overall though it isn't a bad match up, but you have to still play careful around it.

:kyurem: : Annoying match up, but winnable for sure. Sub-Roost sets are a bit annoying because the EV spread lets Kyurem to always live a Moonblast from non-specs Lele at Full HP instead of making it a low roll.

:garchomp: : Lele and Ice Beam Terapagos/Mega Latios can win. Fairly easy match up, though it is a bit annoying that a +0 Galarian Zapdos has a low roll to OHKO it with Flyinium Z.

:charizard-mega-x: and :charizard-mega-y: : Both match ups are fairly difficult. Both are very good wallbreakers and both can threaten the team in a different amount of ways. Still, not unwinnable but you have to play very carefully. Hazards are very important since you need to chip both mega forms for Lele, Latios and Galarian Zapdos to break through them. Landorus-T also does well vs Mega Charizard X, while Terapagos does enough damage to both of them for the other members to break through.

:ogerpon-wellspring: : Annoying match up. Zapdos and Latios can both win if they avoid Crits. Latios in particular has to win the speed tie too. Lele gets OHKO'd by Power Whip. Ferrothorn will do great on non-Superpower Variants. Landorus straight up dies. Terapagos loses too, but has a chance to win if hazards are up.

:zamazenta: : Latios and Galarian Zapdos wins and Tapu Lele wins vs non-Heavy Slam Variants. Landorus-T can help with Intimidate and Rocky Helmet chip. Terapagos deals enough damage to it but loses.

:gholdengo: : Landorus-T is fine versus any Gholdengo variant. This is a very interesting match up, because bulky variants are harder for the remaining team members to break, while offensive variants are a lot easier to deal with. Thunder Wave+Hex variants are annoying because Latios and Lele lose to it and Terapagos can't get a clean 2HKO or 3HKO because Thunder Wave will annoy it to the core. Galarian Zapdos can't do a thing and Ferrothorn can just chip it a little bit.

:moltres: and :zapdos: : Very annoying Pokemon to face but not unwinnable. Ferrothorn cannot reliably set spikes since both birds will kill it. Latios and Lele can 2HKO them which is nice, Landorus cannot do anything other than using Taunt to make them unable to use Defog and Roost. Galarian Zapdos also doesn't do well versus either of the birds, but Zapdos is a much more difficult match up.

:blissey: and :chansey: : Tapu Lele and Landorus-T can deal with them, the first one has Psyshock to hit both Pink Blobs on their physical side and Landorus-T can use Taunt to hinder their utility. It also hits both with Earthquake. Galarian Zapdos obliterates both of them.

:dondozo: Latios, Terapagos and Lele can hit it from its special side which is very nice. Ferrothorn can chip it and hit it with Power Whip, and also remove its item if Ferrothorn is Knock Off. Galarian Zapdos and Landorus can force it from using Curse and Rest respectively too.

I know I didn't cover all the match ups, but tried to include the ones I found the most important. I hope you enjoy the team as much as I do!
(I genuinely like the team)

Hello! first forum post, but im interested in M-Aero. I think its a decent mon in the meta that goes well against some standard mons, like Zard-Y, Chomp, and Lando. Great speed tier, strong buttons. One of my favorite mega's, i've attempted to build but I am fairly new to the building process so I would like to see how you would go about it. Thank You!
