NOC E.G.O Wielders Mafia - A 17P Role Madness (Game Thread) - MAFIA WIN

Evidently you want to know why I liked the you/ck interactions, based on the fact that half your scum!me argument is based on that, it’s because it’s the first post from you that actually feels like it’s had any serious intent to figure out who’s town and who’s scum (522-3).

The problem is that so much of your posting just doesn’t really do shit? 3P speculation doesn’t really bring us closer to finding scum, I mentioned pushing flandrs’ and fairy’s buttons doesn’t exactly make sense from a scum pov but it also just doesn’t accomplish much from a town pov, and now, actually tbh I don’t have a good description of this but it still doesn’t feel like you’re particularly invested in finding town as much as finding the “right person to vote” and I think ur better than that

I'm not confident on who all of the scum are atm but I was doing an interaction chart and I think skipper and a fairy are unaligned with enough people that they're proooobably town

and both of their votes have already been primed heavily today so

I think broadly, and I will probably go back and collect the quotes that lead me to these conclusions, I have three major complaints about the way Celever has played the game.

  • I see more of an intention to perform than an intention to solve
  • I have no evidence that you value your opinions
  • Tonally, your mood seems wrong

A lot of what Cel has been posting feels completely performative. He's voted like evie and pulsar and it just seems like there's no thought behind what he's doing. Most posts are either small chat or could be summarized with "What do you think about the gamestate generally, X?".

For those posts that do not fall into the category, I really do not feel like Celever does anything with this thoughts.

You claim to have been picking fights all day but I don't think you've /tried/ to actually build a wagon. You haven't projected any opinions and you haven't tried to convince anyone of them. Much of your posting has a "care if you want to, don't care if you don't, doesn't affect me" which is a common way tonally for scum to dress their opinions because they don't actually care who gets lynched. I thought this was especially evident when you were talking about Flanders, where you had an idea for the way he would react, and he didn't, and you said that you scumlean him, and then you made like zero effort to translate that opinion into either a wagon or to even convince other people. It was almost as if you threw up your arms and said "welp, whatever" and moved on to the next banal thing.

The final tonal thing is I just feel like there's a bit too much honey and "woe is me" in your posts. There's a lot of small talk, and sure I associate some players with just being naturally chatty in thread, and I never thought that of you. It almost feels like social gaming. And then obviously that whole performance of you claiming there was a wagon on you when there wasn't was just odd as well.

there's a relatively high chance I'm getting intentionally timezoned by scum btw but it's also evidence I'm town because if I were scum my buds would form a cwagon with me while I was awake not wait for me to fall asleep lol

I was never gonna be awake at 2AM I'm employed now and y'all know that so
I am talking to you now in an effort to not timezone you.

I saw that you claimed tracker I'm thinking about what to do about that.

oh look it's Emerald's case which explains why he very randomly flipped his thread positioning on me after your post that wasn't a rally and turned it into a rally

you prepped it well in the scumchat

I would like to claim that I had all of these thoughts before I first voted you.

Very much a leibniz/newton kind of situation.

can you like elaborate on this at all
Emerald is either S/T with hal and knows that hal holds a large amount of thread presence at all times (especially this game where he liked every post for so long and posted a countdown for his arrival lol) so piggyback on the predictable sway that hal's vote on me would cause

or they're S/S and planned the gambit together

also he hasn't done any solving today and deadline's in less than 3 hours, whereas he was solvy earlier in the day. he's also abandoned all of the solving he previously did, in order to push an agenda instead so

this post also strikes me really weirdly, this feels like an incredibly scum thing to say
yeah I stopped having fun because I'm getting pushed out by 0-posters who may or may not be scum it's impossible to know because they haven't posted (M2H and DBD)

which is their prerogative but I was quite excited to get the opportunity to play again, and have a broken role so

like I'm not tryna be a dick about it it's just how I'm feeling but I haven't had the chance to play an actually NOC game on this site since September 2024 because I've been helping host and design all of them as part of being a mod here lol

so I was eager to play a standard NOC again after 10 months and instead people who aren't playing are voting me out as a meme
