[SET COMMENTS]
Set Details
========
- Ting-Lu serves as a support member to its team, able to mitigate incoming special damage with Snarl and Vessel of Ruin while chipping foes with Ruination and Sand Tomb. Its high bulk allows it to stay on the field for a long time, letting it spread more damage and protect its teammates with Vessel of Ruin longer. It has good matchups into several key threats, such as Terapagos, Miraidon, and Raging Bolt.
- Snarl is used to further help its team members take special attacks, while Ruination and Sand Tomb can chip down foes to let its teammates pick up easier KOs. Ting-Lu can use either Throat Chop or Stone Edge to improve matchups into several Restricted Pokemon, including Calyrex-S, Ho-Oh, and Calyrex-I. Sand Tomb can also be used to trap foes on the field so a teammate with a good matchup or a move such as Yawn to take advantage.
- Ting-Lu uses Assault Vest to bolster its lower Special Defense. Stacking this Special Defense multiplier with Vessel of Ruin and Snarl lets it take a lot of special attacks such as Dazzling Gleam from Choice Specs Miraidon, Moonblast from foes such as Flutter Mane and Tera Fairy Lunala, and Tera Starstorm from a Calm Mind-boosted Terapagos, allowing Ting-Lu to be 3HKOed, instead of 2HKOed, by most of these.
- Ting-Lu's Attack investment allows it to 2HKO Electric Seed Lunala most of the time with Throat Chop. Its Special Defense investment allows it to survive two Modest Choice Specs Tera Fairy Miraidon Dazzling Gleams inside of Electric Terrain most of the time, as well as Mystic Water Kyogre's Water Spout in the rain. Its Defense investment allows it to live Rillaboom's Wood Hammer in Grassy Terrain, Zamazenta-C's Body Press, and Chien-Pao's Icicle Crash, as well as Urshifu-R's Tera Water Surging Strikes most of the time.
- Ting-Lu uses Tera Fairy to drop its weaknesses to Fighting-type attacks such as Body Press from Zamazenta-C and Close Combat from the Urshifu formes, as well dropping Ting-Lu's weakness to Grass-, Water-, Fairy-, and Ice-type attacks. Additionally, it gives Ting-Lu an immunity to Miraidon's Draco Meteor.

Teambuilding
=========
- Ting-Lu may struggle against strong physical attackers such as Urshifu-R, Rillaboom, and Chien-Pao, which force it to Terastallize and are unhindered by Vessel of Ruin. It is also vulnerable to Amoonguss, due to Ting-Lu often having no protection against Spore and not threatening a KO by itself.
- If Terastallization is not available, Ting-Lu can also struggle heavily against Restricted Pokemon such as Zamazenta-C and Koraidon, which threaten a 2HKO and OHKO with Body Press and Close Combat or Collision Course, respectively. Calyrex-I is also able to 2HKO it with Glacial Lance.
- Ting-Lu is often run with Zamazenta-C, as it allows Zamazenta-C to survive special attacks such as Electro Drift from Miraidon and Earth Power from Landorus. It is also able to chip down Pokemon Zamazenta-C may struggle to OHKO, such as Miraidon and Calyrex-S.
- Ting-Lu thrives on bulky teams, where it is able to both protect its partners and chip foes down for them to take KOs, mainly seeing usage on teams with Calyrex-S and Zamazenta-C. Calyrex-S and Chien-Pao can threaten Amoonguss with Psychic- and Ice-type attacks to stop it from threatening Ting-Lu, and Zamazenta-C has a great matchup into the aforementioned Chien-Pao and Rillaboom, which would otherwise threaten a 2HKO. In return, Ting-Lu can chip down foes to help Calyrex-S take KOs, allowing it to gain Grim Neigh boosts. It also helps other partners take special attacks, such as Raging Bolt and Amoonguss, further bolstering their bulk. This allows Amoonguss to help Ting-Lu chip down foes with the combination of Amoonguss's Spore and Ting-Lu's Sand Tomb, while Raging Bolt threatens both Kyogre and Urshifu-R.
- Ting-Lu can also be run with Calyrex-I, helping it take special attacks such as Electro Drift and Astral Barrage, which would otherwise threaten it heavily. It also helps Calyrex-I take KOs by dealing chip damage, allowing Calyrex-I to get Chilling Neigh boosts quickly and start to snowball out of control. Sand Tomb also stops foes from switching and removing Calyrex-I's Leech Seed.

Optional edit but you could mention how useful trapping foes with Sand Tomb is
- Ting-Lu uses Assault Vest to bolster its somewhat lackluster special defense. Stacking this special defense multiplier with Vessel of Ruin and Snarl lets it take a lot of special attacks such as Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, and Tera Starstorm. You should go into a bit more detail here like mention if it's Choice Specs Miraidon using Dazzling Gleam for example
- Ting-Lu's Atk investment allows it to 2HKO Electric Seed Lunala before Terastallization most of the time with Throat Chop. Its Special Defense investment allows it to survive two Modest Choice Specs Tera Fairy Miraidon Dazzling Gleams inside of Electric Terrain, as well as Mystic Water Kyogre Water Spout in the rain. - Ting-Lu serves as a support member to its team, being able to mitigate incoming special damage with Snarl and Vessel of Ruin, while chipping foes with Ruination and Sand Tomb. Its high bulk allows it to stay on the field for a long time, increasing its supportive value. (Wouldn't hurt to throw in some good matchups e.g. Raging Bolt, Calyrex-S, Terapagos, Miraidon)
- Ting-Lu can use either Throat Chop or Stone Edge to hit several restricteds Restricted Pokemon, including Calyrex-S and Calyrex-I (include Ho-Oh, applying to just Stone Edge, of course. Also rework this sentence because this should show why you would use one over the other because they're slashed). Snarl (This should be first; change order to match the order in the set) is used to further help its team members take special attacks, while Ruination and Sand Tomb can chip down foes to let its teammates pick up easier knockouts. Sand Tomb can also be used to trap foes on the field while using a teammate good matchup or (Don't like how this part sounds, but you could mention how it can chip things in range of the Calyrex formes' attacks such that they can get the boost) a move such as Yawn to take advantage of that (Wouldn't like to be technical, but I'm guessing you're directly referencing Dondozo with Yawn; however, Ting-Lu has actually found itself on Dozogiri recently rather than with solo Dondozo.).
- Ting-Lu uses Assault Vest to bolster its somewhat lackluster considerably lower Special Defense. Stacking this Special Defense multiplier with Vessel of Ruin and Snarl lets it take a lot of special attacks such as Choice Specs Miraidon Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast from foes such as Flutter Mane and Tera Fairy Lunala, and Tera Starstorm from a Calm Mind boosted Terapagos. (You kinda just threw down a bunch of attacks, how much would they do before/after AV?)
- Ting-Lu's Atk Attack investment allows it to 2HKO Electric Seed Lunala before Terastallization most of the time with Throat Chop. Its Special Defense investment allows it to survive two Modest Choice Specs Tera Fairy Miraidon Dazzling Gleams inside of Electric Terrain (These kinds of conditions associated with the Pokemon's ability should be assumed, but it's prob fine to leave it. Fwiw it would be "in Electric Terrain") most of the time, as well as Mystic Water Kyogre's Water Spout in the rain. Its Defense investment allows it to live Rillaboom's Wood Hammer in Grassy Terrain, Zamazenta-C's Body Press, and Chien-Pao's Icicle Crash, as well as Urshifu-R's Tera Water Surging Strikes most of the time.
- Ting-Lu uses Tera Fairy to drop its weaknesses to Fighting-type attacks such as those Body Press from Zamazenta-C and Close Combat from the Urshifu formes, as well gain an immunity to Dragon, including Miraidon's and Raging Bolt's Draco Meteor. (Tera Fairy is more for taking less from Fighting, Fairy, Grass- and Water-type moves--include some of those instead)

Teambuilding

Calyrex-I is also able to 2HKO it with Glacial Lance. Add Kyogre to this list
- Ting-Lu is often run with Zamazenta-C, as it allows Zamazenta-C to take live Special attacks such as Electro Drift from Miraidon and Earth Power (from Landorus? add from whom) much better(not much better, but it can allow Zama to barely live). It is also able to chip down Pokemon Zamazenta-C may struggle to KO in one hit OHKO, such as Miraidon and Amoonguss (Kind of counterintuitive to say it helps with Amoonguss when you mention Amoonguss as a check above).
- Ting-Lu thrives on bulky teams where it is able to both protects mitigate damage for its partners and chip foes down for them its partners to take knockouts, mainly seeing usage on Calyrex-S/ and Zamazenta-C teams. Calyrex-S can OHKO Amoonguss with Psychic (Not to be technical here, but most of the ones at Bologna and NAIC with Ting-Lu were Sash, and that is definitely a roll to OHKO, in most cases. It does still threaten good damage, though. As a matter of fact, mention Chien-Pao pressuring Amoonguss with Ice-type STAB or even Taunt) to stop it from threatening Ting-Lu, and Zamazenta-C has a great matchup into the aforementioned Chien-Pao and Rillaboom, which would otherwise threaten a 2HKO. It also helps other partners take Special attacks, such as Raging Bolt and Amoonguss, further bolstering their bulk. (This is just fluff unless you're going to go deeper into specific scenarios/calcs. I would like to see some mention of Amoonguss and Ting-Lu being bulky and able to slow the pace and slowly chip away with Spore and Sand Tomb/Ruination pressure + Pollen Puff healing. As for Bolt, it can help against Kyogre and Urshifu-R)
- Ting-Lu can also be run with Calyrex-I, helping it take special attacks such as Electro Drift and Astral Barrage, which would otherwise threaten it heavily. It also helps Calyrex-I take knockouts by dealing chip damage, allowing it Calyrex-I to finish them off and get Chilling Neigh boosts quickly and threaten to snowball out of control. (Could mention preventing foes from switching with Sand Tomb after Leech Seeded)

- Ting-Lu serves as a support member to its team, able to mitigate incoming special damage with Snarl and Vessel of Ruin, while chipping foes with Ruination and Sand Tomb. Its high bulk allows it to stay on the field for a long time, increasing its supportive value(this sounds weird, can you say something like "letting it spread damage for a long time"?). It has good matchups into several key threats, such as Terapagos, Miraidon, and Raging Bolt.
- Snarl is used to further help its team members take special attacks, while Ruination and Sand Tomb can chip down foes to let its teammates pick up easier knockouts. Ting-Lu can use either Throat chop Chop or Stone Edge to improve matchups into several Restricted Pokemon, including Calyrex-S, Ho-Oh, and Calyrex-I. Sand Tomb can also be used to trap foes on the field while using a teammate with a good matchup or a move such as Yawn to take advantage of that.
- Ting-Lu uses Assault Vest to bolster its considerably(nitpicky but its not that bad) lower Special Defense. Stacking this Special Defense multiplier with Vessel of Ruin and Snarl lets it take a lot of special attacks such as Choice Specs Miraidon Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast from foes such as Flutter Mane and Tera Fairy Lunala, and Tera Starstorm from a Calm Mind boosted Terapagos, allowing Ting-Lu to be 3HKO'd, instead of 2HKO'd, by most.
- Ting-Lu's Attack investment allows it to 2HKO Electric Seed Lunala before Terastallization(I think this is pretty obvious) most of the time with Throat Chop. Its Special Defense investment allows it to survive two Modest Choice Specs Tera Fairy Miraidon Dazzling Gleams inside of Electric Terrain most of the time, as well as Mystic Water Kyogre Water Spout in the rain.

=========
- Ting-Lu may struggle against strong Physical attackers such as Urshifu-R, Rillaboom, and Chien-Pao, which force it to Terastallize and are unhindered by Vessel of Ruin. It is also vulnerable to Amoonguss, due to Ting-Lu often having no protection against Spore and not threatening a knockout by itself.
- If Terastallization is not available, Ting-Lu can also struggle heavily against Restricted Pokemon such as Zamazenta-C and Koraidon, who threaten a 2HKO and OHKO with Body Press and Close Combat or Collision Course, respectively. Calyrex-I is also able to 2HKO it with Glacial Lance.
- Ting-Lu is often run with Zamazenta-C, as it allows Zamazenta-C to survive Special attacks such as Electro Drift from Miraidon and Earth Power from Landorus. It is also able to chip down Pokemon Zamazenta-C may struggle to OHKO, such as Miraidon and Amoonguss (you mention amoonguss as a check to ting lu earlier, is there something else we can mention here that is a better mu for ting lu?).
- Ting-Lu thrives on bulky teams where it is able to both protects its partners and chip foes down for them to take knockouts, mainly seeing usage on Calyrex-S/Zamazenta-C teams. Calyrex-S and Chien-Pao can threaten Amoonguss with Psychic- and Ice-type attacks to stop it from threatening Ting-Lu, and Zamazenta-C has a great matchup into the aforementioned Chien-Pao and Rillaboom, which would otherwise threaten a 2HKO Ting-Lu(Makes it more clear). In return, Ting-Lu can chip down foes to help Calyrex-S take knockouts, allowing it to gain Grim Neigh boosts. It also helps other partners take Special attacks, such as Raging Bolt and Amoonguss, further bolstering their bulk. This allows Amoonguss to help Ting-Lu chip down foes with Spore and Sand Tomb, while Raging Bolt threatens both Kyogre and Urshifu-R.
- Ting-Lu can also be run with Calyrex-I, helping it take special attacks such as Electro Drift and Astral Barrage, which would otherwise threaten it heavily. It also helps Calyrex-I take knockouts by dealing chip damage, allowing Calyrex-I to take knockouts, get Chilling Neigh boosts quickly, and threaten start to snowball out of control. Sand Tomb also stops foes from switching and removing Calyrex-I's Leech Seed.

Ting-Lu can use either Throat chop Chop or Stone Edge to improve matchups into several Restricted Pokemon, including Calyrex-S, Ho-Oh, and Calyrex-I.
