Ceruledge @ Ghostium Z / Focus Sash
Ability: Weak Armor
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bitter Blade
- Poltergeist
- Shadow Sneak

Ceru has been picking up some usage on ho teams recently as a threatening setup sweeper against common balance cores, but it also does excellently against these 3 pokemon. It stonewalls Zamazenta, so you just keep chucking at it with attacks, and it prevents the offensive sweepers from setting up. Even under screens, Volc and Hatt are both scared to face a Ceruledge one on one. The only way this could be diceyis roar by Zamazenta, but ceru can always consistently come back in and stop Hatt and Volc from setting up safely.

:moltres:
Moltres @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Mystical Fire
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Defog

Moltres easily beats Volcarona 1v1 with Brave Bird, and Zamazenta can't touch it, meaning the latter can't deny Defog. Hatterene is tough, but Mystical Fire prevents Hatterene from muscling past easily, while even with a Sassy nature, Moltres outspeeds. Brave Bird can "nuke" after repeated Mystical Fire chip damage.

"Trying to out offense this trio is basically impossible" aged poorly as I sent this same time as ineros

Timid Nature

- Nasty Plot
- Malignant Chain
- Shadow Ball
- Acid Spray

Zama goes blank in front of it, as you fire off Malignant Chain and then Nasty Plot up. It’s pretty difficult for Zama to hard switch out, since it risks the 50% poison chance.
Hatterene gets one-tapped.
Volcarona is kinda tricky, but you’ve got tools like Acid Spray into Z-Move, and two chances to get the poison since you live a +1 Flamethrower. You also break its Sub even after +1.

Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Curse
- Gunk Shot
- Recover
- Yawn

unorthodox set, yeah, and a lot of people are gonna be utterly confused, but HEAR ME OUT. you can yawn zama t1 if they lead, then curse as they fall asleep or switch because they're thinking "oh what the hell is clodsire doing im just gonna get my screens (or go to hatt to bounce a second yawn)." little do they know that clodsire can stonewall volc unlike any other mon, and +1 and 2hkos the sleeping zamazenta

:zamazenta:
+1 252+ Atk Unaware Clodsire Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Zamazenta: 198-234 (51 - 60.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

:volcarona:
252 SpA Volcarona Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Clodsire: 153-180 (32.9 - 38.7%) -- 99.5% chance to 3HKO
+1 252+ Atk Clodsire Gunk Shot vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Volcarona: 318-375 (102.2 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

:hatterene:
+1 252+ Atk Clodsire Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Hatterene: 350-414 (110 - 130.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Hatterene Psyshock vs. +1 252 HP / 0 Def Clodsire: 228-270 (49.1 - 58.1%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO

you can also run poison barb if you wanna be really sheist or lefties/black sludge for more longevity, but hdb is more consistent all around thanks to the spikes immunity

Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Torch Song
- Shadow Ball
- Slack Off
- Roar

Skeledirge is not a good mon.
Zamazenta can't hit this as its only move is fighting-type. Volcarona is walled as both of its STABs are resisted by Skeledirge. Roar also allows you to phase it out. Hatterene can't 1v1 this, even though it can try to drop your SpAtk with Mystical Fire. However, not only can you boost it back up with Torch Song, Roar allows you to switch yourself out(against Magic Bounce), and come back in at +0. Heavy-Duty Boots allows you to keep switching in on these 3 as long as your item is intact. Unaware + Roar also allows you to phase out any other threatening sweepers the team these 3 are on might have.

252 SpA Volcarona Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skeledirge: 96-113 (23.3 - 27.4%) -- 65.1% chance to 4HKO
252 SpA Volcarona Savage Spin-Out (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skeledirge: 93-109 (22.5 - 26.4%) -- 21.1% chance to 4HKO

:slowking-galar: i still don't know how to do big sprites
Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest

EVs: 248 HP / 200 SpD / 60 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Flamethrower
- Sludge Bomb
- Power Gem

AV Slowking-G serves as a fantastic answer to both Hatterene and Volcarona, while not being threatened by zama in the slightest. Light Screen is annoying, but with strong super effective attacks, one of which has a hefty chance to poison, the matchup is in Glowking's favor.

An optional bit of speed investment allows Gking to outrun Hatterene, allowing us to land a Sludge Bomb before it has the chance to Calm Mind.
Power Gem is a neat tech to deal massive damage to Volcarona, 2HKOing it even after a Quiver Dance and eating a Z-Bug Buzz while in Swarm.

+1 252 SpA Swarm Volcarona Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 200+ SpD Assault Vest Slowking-Galar: 160-189 (40.7 - 48%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 252 SpA Swarm Volcarona Savage Spin-Out (175 BP) vs. 248 HP / 200+ SpD Assault Vest Slowking-Galar: 309-364 (78.6 - 92.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (!)

0 SpA Slowking-Galar Power Gem vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Volcarona: 240-284 (77.1 - 91.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Slowking-Galar Power Gem vs. +1 0 HP / 4 SpD Volcarona: 160-192 (51.4 - 61.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 SpA Slowking-Galar Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Hatterene: 204-242 (64.1 - 76.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 0 Def Zamazenta Body Press vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Slowking-Galar: 43-51 (10.9 - 12.9%) -- possible 8HKO

Would have been better if mm had done this ngl

:bw/mantine: you do big sprites by putting ":bw/pokemon-name:". for the 3d models or whatever they are like ineros and nongy have, you should be able to use xy, sm, ss, or sv I think.
Mantine @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Roost
- Haze
- Aqua Ring

I did have to give it Aqua Ring because otherwise you could have some slight issues with running out of recovery pp, it needs an effective leftovers. Calcs might say leftovers because it's the same recovery % as aqua ring (which isn't in the calc) and I'm too lazy to change all of them.

Anyways, mantine just walls everything with haze preventing set up and slowly (emphasis on the slow part) kos them with scald.

To lay it out, you have 24 scald pp, so you need to use them pretty wisely. Ideally you burn zamazenta and it dies extremely slowly, we'll say this takes 5 pp to get a burn (will take less like 80% of the time). In the meantime, you take no damage and roost maybe twice to supplement aqua ring recovery. You can just burn aqua ring pp while zama takes burn chip. 19 scald pp left. Assume worst case scenario, volcarona now comes in with 7 turns of light screen. Now you just click haze (or roost) for 7 turns until the screen is gone. After this, you click scald, and if they sub until they die, you lose 5 pp so you still have 14 left. Then hatterene comes in, you have like a 5-6hko with hatt's leftovers, and while it does more damage than you it can't actually do enough damage between aqua ring and roost with haze to deal with calm mind + mantine outspeeds. And if you ever burn them, they lose lefties recovery and dkiss heals for like 10%.

It also gets a whole lot easier if you replace boots with lefties or leppa berry or something but that's just such a throw for anything other than a 1v3 without hazards that I decided against it.

+1 4 Def Zamazenta Body Press vs. 248 HP / 164+ Def Mantine: 72-85 (19.3 - 22.7%) -- possible 6HKO
+1 252 SpA Volcarona Flamethrower vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mantine: 84-100 (22.5 - 26.8%) -- 35% chance to 4HKO
+1 252 SpA Volcarona Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mantine: 84-100 (22.5 - 26.8%) -- 35% chance to 4HKO
+1 252 SpA Volcarona Savage Spin-Out (175 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mantine: 165-194 (44.2 - 52%) -- 14.1% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Hatterene Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 164+ Def Mantine: 111-132 (29.7 - 35.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Hatterene Draining Kiss vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mantine: 52-63 (13.9 - 16.8%) -- possible 9HKO

0 SpA Mantine Scald vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Zamazenta through Light Screen: 32-38 (8.2 - 9.7%) -- possibly the worst move ever
0 SpA Mantine Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Volcarona: 138-164 (44.3 - 52.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Mantine Scald vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Hatterene: 70-84 (22 - 26.4%) -- possible 5HKO (even if there are screens here, you just stall them out fairly reasonably)

Idk maybe missed something weird somewhere since there's some reactionary play here and it takes a long time which opens a lot of possibilities but I think I cooked to some extent. If nothing else, I got to try some fun puzzle solving with mantine.
