Simple Question, Simple Answer Thread Advance

In the area with the fence maze in FR/LG (east of fuschia)
Near the bottom of the maze there is a sign that reads:

TRAINER TIPS
Look, look!
Look to the left of that post!

???

Can somebody explain this to me?

It is a secret item - I think it's a PP Up. Start pushing the A button next to the sign, you will find an hidden item.

No. It's only effected by the user's level and immunity of the opposing Pokemon (Seismic Toss doesn't work on ghosts in Advance, and Night Shade doesn't work on Normal types.)

I've been bored lately so I've been trying to get Mirage Island to appear. First I heard that it appeared based on ID number, than I read further and heard it was based on something called "Gender Breakpoint".

Further investigation on that suggested that Pokemon such that had low chances of being another gender (such as Machop and Anorith for Female and Skitty and Luvdisc for Male) helps the Island appear. I must have read at least 100 different sites giving me different information so hopefully someone can clarify the real way I can get my Liechi Berry without purchasing Battle Revolution.

Ah, Poliwrath. Booted out of OU after the Pinch Berry glitch was fixed, it has yet to find popularity in UU.
What's this glitch, and why did it make Poliwrath OU?

Pinch berries used to activate at 50%, and thus after Poliwrath Belly Drums, he would immediately get his Salac boost and be able to sweep. The activation HP has since been moved down to 25%, robbing much of Poliwrath's potential.

I need a move set for Crobat. I want it to be an annoyer. Confuse Ray annoyer.

So far I only have this:

Crobat @ Leftovers
Inner Focus - Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Att / 176 Speed
~Confuse Ray
~Sludge Bomb
~HP [Fighting]
~Substitute

374 Speed(Base 120's Max + 2) so Zam and the others can't catch me before I confuse them.
Sub so I can attack twice since a lot of battles I have been in had the person switch when they have a confused Poke in the field. That way whether or not they switch, I will have a 75% chance at keeping the Sub (50% chance of switching, 50% chance of hitting itself). I'm bad at match so that might be wrong.

I want to know if Sludge Bomb / HP [Fight] will be any good for this set. I want to hurt Tyranitars (my friends love it). SBomb has the STAB and a % of Poisoning that I don't remember the exact number of.

Also have another question.

I am using Skarm / Milotic and either Dusclops, Weezing, or Claydol for my Battle Tower in Emerald. I was finally getting far using that team(Skarm has Steel Wing for Aero which my team has problems with(had Zam)).

Which of those three would be better for taking on the Battle Tower. I am pulling for Dusclops since it has high Defenses, like the others, has complete immunity to Flail/Rev and can use Will-o-Wisp for those jackass Blisseys. I am thinking of either using Dusclops or Swellow, since Swellow can CB/Guts/STAB Aerial Ace those things that are always using Double Team/Minimize(Blissey and Poliwrath I think).

Which of those would you guys suggest I use? Thanks in advance.

Crobat: Toxic/Confuse Ray/Substitute/Shadow Ball or Protect

Though annoyers are dumb and gay and etc.

If you want to take the kind of defensive prowess you are for Battle Tower, you can mess with Dusclops, or to prevent Electrics from running you over, you can let Skarm hand Flailers and run with Claydol (who can still stop non-Megahorning Reversalers). If you fear minimize Blissey that much however, it's probably safer to go with Swellow, but you'd still might want to rearrange the team to not get wrecked by Thunderbolt.

Thanks man.
I was going to try see how much I can piss my friends off with Link Up battles using that Crobat.

Using Code Tag to save space
Code:
For the Electrics, I was thinking of using Alakazam's Role Play. The only electric I had ANY problem with was Jolteon. Now I am going to try breed for a Claydol so I can take care of them easier. Was going to try use my Dugtrio (working on getting a Choice Band right now) and use Aerial Ace with it to take on those retarded Blisseys.

The one that was using Flail was the Pinsir, who used Guillotine to KO my Keen Eye Adamant Skarmory(which I am going to breed for Sturdy / Impish). That's the only reason it beat me. I had Milotic with me, and even with Mild Nature, it took on Aerodactyl without a problem when my Skarm couldn't 2KO it with Steel Wing(missing). Rahh.

Ok my last question before I start breeding again(gon use Whirlwind, Aerial Ace, Spikes, Steel Wing again. Replacing Drill Peck with Aerial Ace.

What is the easiest / fastest Poke that can use Belly Drum that doesn't get KOed as soon as it uses BD? I was going to try breed for a Linoone for the Battle Tower but I tested it once and it keeps getting KOed before it kills. Usually needs the enemy asleep while I drummed.

Edit: I am thinking of using:

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Thick Fat - Relaxed Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 Sp.Def
~Belly Drum
~Shadow Ball
~Rest
~Snore

Only problem I see: He is slow.

You should also see a problem in the fact that Snore sucks. If you want to use that variant, I'd probably use Body Slam/Return over Snore and use a Chesto Berry.

Role Play for Alakazam is a waste of a slot, especially considering Jolteon outruns Alakazam.

In the battle tower, you can probably run something Like Starmie/Metagross/Curselax or Salamence/Swampert/Metagross and win most of the time. It's not that much of a brain teaser.

Just trying to confirm something since Battle Revolution is rather difficult... Does depositing and withdrawing your Pokemon actually change their random number that is needed to view Mirage Island or is that a false rumor?

Can't answer the last question.

But I got a quickie concerning NetBattle. I just never noticed but do Gardevoir/Porygon2 take Spikes damage as they come in and trace Levitate off of, say, Flygon? I think they'd have to first, then once officially "in" they copy Levitate.

ok well i have a 2 of question's. ok first i just hatched a bagon egg and its on level 5. my question is if i give it 10 rare candies to get to lv.15 will it effect my ev training?

Note : i have not started ev training

and second in emerald does exp.share give ev's to the pokemon holding exp.share?

Keep searching the grass and use repels. You'll find him eventually. Or just go on like normal and you may run into him. He is found in Kanto only.

you don't need to use the masterball to catch entei. Just go around routes, Walk do not fly. For example fly to the middle city then Walk to all the routes and use super repels/repels on a lvl 49 'mon. if you fly it scares them off. Save often.
