  • Hey, it looks like your Generation IV RNG guide lost all its pictures and visual guides after the recent troubles. Is there any place with another copy of your guide with the pictures?
I think the last honey tree abuse I did was on 9.96.5 BETA (not sure if a newer version is out yet, I don't check very frequently).
I was going to post this at the end of the thread where you host your guide, but it wouldn't let me, so I hope you don't mind the VM (it said to point out any errors we saw no?) Any way:

    Honey Trees
Honey tree Pokemon use Method J, use method Wild Pokemon, and have a starting frame of 1.

That part is wrong, Honey tree pokemon have a starting frame of 2, as pointed out by Mingot here and I can confirm that everytime I RNG a Honey Tree pokemon, I use 2 as their starting frame and nail it every time.
My fault, i followed the guide and the oak advances work like a charm. The part where i got confused was determining how many advances to make. I thought that if your aiming for frame 210 , that equates to 209 advances and then you stop one frame early of your target, hence the 208 (this is where my logic was flawed). That led me to believe that the number of toggles should be 208/18 as opposed to 210/18. I pretty much over thought things i guess lol. Anyway thanks for your guides! I rng'ed me some flawless legends and a tyrogue :)
I hope its okay to ask, im just starting to learn rng abuse, and im starting with id/sid abuse. Do i have to do anything different with a dsi? Thats all i have to work with!
