Pet Mod GlaceMons Ubers - Submission Phase (Slate 2 Open!)

Moves: Pursuit, Aeroblast, Shield of Dreams (SV)
Items: Soul Dew, Booster Energy
Abilities: Dune Sandstorm / Eternal Blizzard (SV), Full Metal Body
Adjustments: Kyurem (SV), Necrozma, Mewtwo, Lugia

Here's the winners!

Name: Aeroblast
Power: 100
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 5
Category: Special
Type: Flying
Effect: Always crits.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Same as before
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Lugia
Justification: Lugia is an uber that's sort of been passed over through time. With this change, it can now serve as an effective check to basically any special sweeper, and also have more consistency. This probably won't be enough to push it over the top as well.
Name: Pursuit
Power: 40
Accuracy: 100%
PP: As before
Category: Physical
Type: Dark
Effect: If the opponent tries to switch out, the power of this move doubles and hits the opponent before they actually switch.
Priority: 0
Flags: As before
Potential Pokémon With This Move: As before plus :meowscarada:, :roaring moon:, :yveltal:, :obstagoon:, :chien-pao:, :zarude:, :lokix:, :greninja:, :urshifu:, :gyarados:, :houndstone:, :mewtwo:
Justification: The move currently is practically unusable in Ubers by a lack of abusers, this change adds more distribution to add more variety on trapping options, while also keeping more in check some Psychic-types in the tier like :mewtwo-mega-y:Mega Mewtwo Y and :necrozma-ultra:Ultra Necrozma.
Name: Full Metal Body
Effect: Current effect + immunity to indirect damage.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :solgaleo:
Justification: This ability is kinda... eh. So I buffed it to give it a Magic Guard effect. So Solgaleo takes no damage from hazards, burn/poison, recoil, or a Life Orb.
:sv/arceus:
Effect: If Arceus, change type based on held plate or z-crystal and change ability before enter field, Judgement uses higher attacking stat factoring in stat changes.

Justification: More usable arceus forms
Name: :soul dew:Soul Dew / :latiasite:Latiasite / :latiosite:Latiosite
Effect: :soul dew: If held by a :latias:Latias or :latios:Latios, 1.3x SpA and 1.5x SpD, can also Mega Evolve while retaining Levitate / :latiasite: If held by a :latias:Latias, it can Mega Evolve and retain Levitate / :latiosite: If held by a :latios:Latios, it can Mega Evolve and retain Levitate
Can Be Knocked Off: No
Ignored by Klutz: No
Fling Power & Effect: As before
Justification: Soul Dew Latis have the role compression of a Defogger that checks Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre and Ultra Necrozma. The capability to Mega Evolve is also a double-edged sword as they can't Terastallize, but it does keep them in check in exchange for overall better stats for healthier uses. The "regular" Mega Stones are merely being reverted change-wise to ease coding of the main item in Soul Dew.
Name: :booster-energy: Booster Energy
Effect: If held by a Paradox Pokémon, activates the Protosynthesis or Quark Drive abilities.
Can Be Knocked Off: No
Ignored by Klutz: No
Fling Power & Effect: 30 BP, Lowers highest stat of opposing Pokemon.
Justification: Pretty much every Paradox mon is currently unviable in nat-dex Ubers, largely due to it being relatively easy to force them out, meaning they end up running weaker items with more prevalent downsides. Gouging Fire and Tusk to a lesser extent can now take advantage of boosted defenses to set-up or perform utility in the case of Tusk while Flutter Mane, Walking Wake, and to a lesser extent Iron Bundle who still hates Primal Groudon existing, can become more powerful breakers.
:sm/rayquaza-mega:
Name: Meteorite
Effect: If held by a Rayquaza, this item allows it to Mega Evolve in battle.
Notes: Removes Dragon Ascent functionality entirely as a secondary effect of this sub. To iterate in a different way, this sub winning means that Dragon Ascent will no longer be able to Mega the Rayquaza, and the only ways will be with parallel mega orb (may he rest in pieces) and this stone.
Knock off: No
Ignored By Klutz: Nope
Fling Power: Cannot be flung. 384 BP
Justification: Removes the most problematic aspect of MRay.

Name: KW
Type: Ice / Dragon
Abilities: Turboblaze / Moody / Ice Body, Teravolt / Moody / Ice Body
New Moves: Will-o-Wisp, Defog, U-Turn, Calm Mind, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Hurricane, Icicle Spear, Scale Shot, Dragon Dance, Frostnip
Removed Moves:
Justification: KW is now much more powerful with ice body or moody and this allows it to have some good options into the tier. With ice body it does pretty well into many mons of the tier or using moody to have extra bulk, power, and speed at the same time. The new moves give it plenty of support and with frostnip it can already cripple arceus forms quite well, will-o-wisp allows it to cripple NDM, ferrothorn,zacian-c, and other stuff. Kyurem black is also getting bonuses to make sure it can keep up in the uber meta and use its good stats for a defensive purpose
:sv/Ursaluna:
Name: Ursaluna
Type: Ground/Water
Abilities: Unaware/Guts/Honey Gather
New Moves: Slack Off
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Offensive Unaware mon who can set-up on it's own. Acts as a more offensive take on how Dondozo is currently within the metagame, particularly effective against certain Arceus sets and Zygard sets with less immediate power and can switch into things like P-don and set-up on it. Threatens almost everything in the metagame at +2 with swords dance. However it lacks as much immediate bulk as pure walls and is very vulnerable on the special side, meaning it can be hard to fully sweep a team without support.

As we wait for the coding to update accordingly the tier, we're now on discussion phase! Discuss what you think of the additions and how they may affect the tier! The tally can be found here.

Here's the distribution!

Name: Unaware
Effect: This pokémon ignores other pokémon's stat changes or field effects when taking or doing damage
Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :ursaluna::ursaluna-bloodmoon::urshifu-rapid-strike::gyarados-mega::blastoise-mega::iron-bundle::scream-tail::palkia::dialga:
Justification: :groudon-primal:, basically. But to be more serious, this allows certain OUBL mons or generally nieche water/ice types to gain nieches in the tier just by being able to pressure P-Groudon, which could theoretically justify a team slot. Something like Unaware Surging Strikes is scary in theory, but is generally balanced out by how meh water moves are in Ubers with all the Dragons running around. Less relevant on P-Oger given it already resists fire.

Name: Merciless
Effect: This pokémon's attacks are critical hits if target is statused.
Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :weavile: :dragapult: :darkrai: :naganadel: :sneasler: :roaring-moon: :scolipede:
Justification: Toxic is everywhere in ND ubers, with the advent of Fezandipiti, so these pokemon can gain a nieche on T-Spikes/Fez teams as lategame cleaners who can clear up games if Ferro is dealt with. However due to the inconsistency of specifically T-Spikes I believe none of these mons would end up being overbearing even with the buff. Naganadel + Looplet could be concerning so you could remove them, but I'd imagine them, Darkrai, Pult, and Weavile would be the most prevalent Merciless abusers.

Name: Mythic Prescence
Effect: Lowers the opponents stat by 0.75x corresponding to highest stat of the user (if Spdef + Def lower corresponding attack, if SPA or ATK lower corresponding defense, if speed lowers opponent speed)
Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :mew::celebi::jirachi::manaphy::victini::shaymin::hoopa::magearna::zarude::pecharunt:
Justification: Despite being considered quasi legendaries, most of these mons have never or almost never had a niche in ubers. This ability allows for these mythicals, most pre hoopa notable for their balanced stats, utilize these balanced stats for a variety of roles (checked out by those base stats being relatively bad for an ubers standard.) While this likely isn't enough for mythicals like Hoopa (who is entirely outclassed by Lunala irregardless) and Celebi (bad typing and still meh stats), I think Manaphy, Victini, Magearna, and Zarude could all constitute nieches. Manaphy could use a defense, attack, or speed nerf to become a dangerous sweeper under webs, which could either snowball out of control with an offensive nerf for the enemy, become blisteringly fast against non scarfers, or simply spec into drastic offensive power. Unfortunately, Water is still a terrible STAB typing into Ubers specifically, although Water/Ice coverage is effective into Zygarde. Victini becomes a webs abuser with Band + V-Create which could have a niche over Chi-Yu (although admittely Chi-Yu is still likely more effective). Zarude becomes more effective in it's current role as a check to certain mons like P-Ogre with an actual defensive ability, making it into a solid meta pick. Magearna could utilise a variety of sets, all of which appreciate the offensive or defensive buff, which could be the push it needs to gain a niche in the tier.

Name: Alchemy
Power: 0
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 8
Category: Status
Type: Psychic
Effect: Clears hazards from user's side of the field and grants +1 speed, however user loses 1/6th of their HP.
Priority: 0
Flags: N/A
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :solgaleo: :muk-alola: :dialga: :palkia: :kyurem: :kyurem-black: :kyurem-white: :landorus: :thundurus: :enamorus: :tornadus::flutter-mane: :iron-bundle: :iron-jugulis: :iron-valiant:
Justification: The tier lacks many solid hazard removers barring giratina, which can make the tier very suseptible to Webs HO. Alchemy is an offensive and unblockable hazard removal option for more nieche ubers and the newly buffed Kyurem forms to exploit. However, since drawbackless removal is frankly boring, the HP loss acts as a way to punish ineffective removal times and to just punish you for letting hazards go up too many times outside of webs.

Name: Diamond Storm
Power: 110
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 16
Category: Physical
Type: Rock
Effect: 50% chance to raise user's defense by 2 stages
Priority: 0
Flags: N/A
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :diancie-mega:
Justification: Diancie is already a solid B/B+ mon, especially useful for a good webs MU, but with new megas like the Lati Twins and Mewtwo, boosted Diamond Storm allows it to retain it's place in the metagame as a GHAZ breaker and as an anti-stall tool.

Name: Draco Meteor
Power: 130
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 8
Category: Special
Type: Dragon
Effect: User's special attack is lowered by 2
Priority: 0
Flags: N/A
Potential Pokémon With This Move: (unchanged)
Justification: With all the dragons running around I think this change is worth doing. There is zero good reason for frankly any move to be 90% accurate. It isn't really a good balancer. You can't play around it so it doesn't affect how you play against it. It sucks as hell to miss especially since it's already balanced at 100%. Not the flashiest change but, eh.

Name: King's Crown :king's-rock:
Effect: If this is a Kingambit, boosts Dark type moves by 1.3x and takes 2/3rds damage from weaknesses. Otherwise, user's first dark type move per game gains 1.5x power.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes, unless on a Kingambit):
Ignored by Klutz (No):
Fling Power & Effect: [100BP]
Justification: Besides Gambit, can act as a nerfed Z Crystal which still allows other mons access to their Z-Move. On gambit, emphasises both it's ability to pursuit trap and kill with sucker punch, making certain rolls more likely even Tera-less, and enhances your defensive utility with your naturally effective type but lacks recovery.

Name: Insect Plate :insect-plate:
Effect: If held by a Bug-type or Arceus, the user is immune to entry hazards and raises Atk, Def and SpA by x1.3.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes, No on an Arceus):
Ignored by Klutz (No):
Fling Power & Effect: [90BP]
Justification: Even in spite of getting one of the best abilities possible in Magic Guard, Arceus bug is still probably unviable and largely outclassed by every other Arceus form. This change allows it to be theoretically the strongest Arceus form available in direct damage but even despite your raw power, your weak STAB and especially lacking E-Killer can still weaken you as a sweeper. Your niche presides over being a physical l sweeper good against Arceus-Dark, currently the best Arceus form and one of the tier's best physical walls. Based around the silver powder buffs but increased given the lack of relevant bug types bar like Phero.

Name: Stretchy Spring
1754824603670.png

Effect: Announces on switch, at the end of the first turn the holder is active, uses the move Metal Burst. This item is then consumed.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes):
Ignored by Klutz (Yes):
Fling Power & Effect: [50BP]
Justification: Can be used as an alternate item for sweepers, and more niechly setters wallbreakers and status spreaders. In exchange for basically not having an item, you get one turn to do basically whatever without being attacked. However, this is checked by you being unable to determine when this turn happens due to the nature of the item, similar to the eject button. A pokemon holding a status move can easilypunish your attempts to utilize the effective damage prevention by statusing you. Depending on the Pokemon, you can also just be KO-ed outright, meaning the Metal Burst does not go through.

:sv/Zamazenta-Crowned:
Name: Zamazenta-Crowned
Type: Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Dauntless Shield/Steelworker/Immunity
New Moves: Slack Off, Knock Off, Bulk Up, Taunt
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Steel type is ironically enough kind of bad defensively in a tier with two grounds as the best mons, now you can actually use those defensive stats you have, especially against the necros and mewtwos of the tier, to act as a physdef or possibly spdef wall who can knock and prevent hazards from being set as well as having viable recovery, effective given the lack of fairies to exploit your 4x weakness. Steelworker allows you to Behemoth Blade any would be A-Fairy or Fezandipiti looking to come in on you while DS allows you to stuff even the strongest physical breakers until your switch is forced . While lacking entirely as vast a movepool, your increased bulk and Steelworker/DS can help act as a sidegrade to Arceus Dark, which is useful as it then frees up your own arceus slot to be more varied.

:sv/Necrozma-Dawn-Wings:
Name: Necrozma-Dawn-Wings
Type: Psychic/Fairy
Abilities: Prism Armor/Hospitality
New Moves: Moonblast, U-Turn, Draining Kiss, Quicksand Drain, Clear Smog, Salve Strike, Play Rough
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Instead of being a mid tier special breaker as usual, a buffed typing and ability allows you to become a far less passive pivot than the mola's and fez's of the tier, at an exchange for less longevity due to only Hospitality. With U-Turn, AV becomes the premier set. With max SPDef, you can even stay in on P-Ogre and Mewtwo Y and FSight them. Your massive special attack allows you to fully invest in bulk, as even uninvested future sights do large chunks of damage to Groudon and Zygard. You also have reliable recovery in Moonlight innately if you wish to forgo AV, and options like Quicksand Drain and CS allow you to either prevent yourself from being setup fodder or pressure Fez while also enjoying the health regen. However, missing moonblast can make you even worse into A-Dark and Yveltal, the mons which are able to freely come in on your F-Sights. Zacian-C is your best friend here. The Dark types you dislike are handled by it's fierce CC, while you give it setup opportunities via F-Sight pressure which can overwhelm physical checks like Ho-Oh, Defensive P-Kyogre or P-Groudon.

:sv/Pheromosa:
Name: Pheromosa
Type: Fairy/Fighting
Abilities: Beast Boost/Limber
New Moves: Dazzling Gleam
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Pheromosa is already a niche offensive pivot with it's insane power and speed, so instead of buffing it offensively given that it already has the power it would want, instead I favored to buff it's utility. Specifically, by giving a para immunity that can supersede glare, you become a far more effective zygarde check as even at plus 1 you outspeed and threaten it. Furthermore, while I believe that giving this thing actual fairy coverage (excluding it's pretty meh QD sets although you could now QD on a glare from Zy), Fairy's dragon immunity can give you ins against some of the tier's scariest Meteors and Outrages (although there are less of these). However your pitiful defenses mean that a bad prediction can easily kill you, making you not an effective dragon answer in the long term. This limited utility also makes you an even better hazard removal option as you pressure the tier's main spinblocker, Giratina, with Triple Axel.

Justification: Darkrai is a pretty solid mon with sleep at its disposal, with 85% acc it can really sting opponents and it can really be used on offense to get through the recovery spamming defensive mons with it and give advantage to teammates. also can be used on more balance teams to shut down offensive threats

Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Justification: Restoring the move back to its original state since it was nerfed for glacemons OU (should have just made another move) and now dracovish suffers from it, this would allow it to be a potential threat in ubers with speed and with the 1.2x boost can find uses on it. Bolt beak buff allows dracozolt to potentially see use to also i see no reason not to include it as its a clone of it

Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :zamazenta:
Justification: Zama would benefit from this, it would allow offense to have some defensive backbone to fall back on while also boosting its power to not be passive would allow it to threaten bulkier teams
Name: Hero's Cape
Effect: The next Pokémon to switch in on the user's side of the field takes 25% less damage on the turn they switch in. If held by a Palafin, Increases Priority moves do 2x damage to resisted pokemon, All moves do 1.2x damage, and takes 50% less damage when it switches in.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes (No if held by palafin)
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No):
Fling Power & Effect:
Justification: This is a support item to help defensive pokemon to switch in offensive pokemon more and can also be useful on offensive teams by using it on mons who switch out often by giving bulk to the next Pokémon that comes in. The extra damage on priority moves allow palafin to really revenge kill vs offense as well

Name: Yellow Card
Effect: If holder survives a hit, opponent gets -1 Atk, Def, and SpA. Once per switch in
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No):
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No):
Fling Power & Effect:

:pmd/palkia:
Name: Palkia
Type: Water / Dragon
Abilities: Pressure / Storm Drain / Analytic
New Moves: Water Spout, Scald, Knock Off, Flip Turn, Calm Mind
Removed Moves:
Justification: With this palkia has a lot more power in the early game and with stuff like storm drain you can pressure mons like scald users like tangrowth, arceus-water, kyogre, alomomola, etc. With flip turn + knock off you can easily pair it with boots and use ti to pressure fat teams and take advantage of stuff like fez, arceus forms, ferro, etc

Removed Moves:
:miraidon: Draco Meteor, Overheat
:koraidon: Flare Blitz, Heat Crash,
Justification: Removing some coverage and a lot of the broken stuff from it.... without draco and overheat miraidon becomes a lot easier to deal with and while it has still stuff in CM or agility without draco and overheat to nuke them it means it has to put in more work for it to work. Koraidon without super power fire coverage allows it to be more easily dealt with fairies in the tier.

Type: Dragon / Steel
Abilities: Stalwart / Light Metal / Telepathy
New Moves: Overvolt Rail, Land's Wrath, Hammer Arm, Doom Desire, Tachyon Cutter, Dragon Hammer, Twister, Volt Switch, Petroleum Blast, Parabolic Charge, Discharge, Calm Mind
Removed Moves:
Justification: Gives dialga some god moves to work with,s talwart makes it good at taking blows and being able to dish them out in return. Light metal makes it stupid good into yveltal as well and thanks to calm mind and swords dance it can take advantage of it as well. Calm Mind gives it some setup to work with where it can take advantage of mons that give it setup and force them out this way. Telepathy allows it to set trick room and be able to volt switch out into a teammate or it can use telepathy + slow speed to be able to take minimal damage while it tries to get its things going. Pivoting allows dialga to bring utility to the table

Btw im gonna comment on some...

- burn up clone isnt good, dark pulse or blackout are just stronger moves
- maybe usable but often times there is a better choice or the mon is far to bad for it to be viable
- maybe usable but also with the fact that webs / hazard Ho are just much better
- zygarde 50% isnt getting used over zygarde-c
- still does fuck all to fairies and savage and it cant deal enough damage using non draco moves esp with how jacked the power is in the tier. This feels random esp since roaring moon is far to average with draco bombing being far from a thing that it can do esp when we have regen arceus dragon who can spam judgement, eternatus with dynamax cannon, or even kyurem w
