Within the next week, we will begin the manager selection process. The manager selection process is mostly subjective. The hosts (earthflax, RauSakura, and Murphy Lawden) alongside the rest of the moderation team will select the managers we feel are most strongly suited for the tournament. Only post here if you have the intention of managing, no trolling or meme posts. Furthermore, any users banned from National Dex discord cannot manage in this tournament. Your post will be deleted if you do not meet these requirements.

If you are a returning manager, make sure to identify the team which you are reclaiming by the letter assigned to it. Returning managers will be given priority to reclaim their existing teams, but they may not take over a team that was not previously theirs. However, this is subject to discussion within the host and moderation teams.

- If you'd like to retain a player, the price will be equal to their NDPL V price + 3k, with a minimum price of 10k;
- ALL 3 Managers may self-buy, and it will be decided by a formula based off prior NDPL performance. The formula is as follows:
((<higher of last price in NDPL and 10000> + 10000 + 3000 * <number of wins in last played NDPL> - 1000 * <numbers of losses in last played NDPL>) / 2) + 500* <If player has played in past 2 NDPLs consecutively, number of wins in NDPL from 2 editions prior to the current one>*If output is under 10000, the result will automatically be rounded up to 10000.
*If a manager intends to self-buy, but has never played an NDPL prior, their value will be set at a fixed 16000. - A team may have a total of 3 players purchased prior to the draft between retains and/or manager selfbuys. Former managers cannot be retained.
- Teams: 8 total, 14 players min each (10 starters + 4 subs)
- Each team will have 140k Credits to spend throughout the entire drafting process.
