Big Viva la Fantasia Mafia - Game Thread (Cycle 5)

I'm not bothering with votals, nobody was voted out. But that doesn't mean this phase was peaceful- in fact, we beat out last cycle!

First, Shinryu just wasn't enough of a bonus boss to make it until the end
phoopes, you are Kefka, from Final Fantasy VI. You are an Aggressor. Your alias is Shinryu.

The Gestahlian Empire’s first attempt at creating a Magitek Knight granted you magical power, but also drove you to madness. Nihilistic and cruel, you serve as the Emperor’s court mage, showing no regard for life as you enslave Espers to amass power from their Magicite. In time, you seize control over the Warring Triad, bringing about the World of Ruin as the god of magic.

Your turn from comical to vile is cemented in your poisoning of Doma. Well, you are hardly against using that tactic again! Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: Poisoning ALIAS”. They will be alerted of their poison this Cycle, take 1 damage the next Cycle, and 1 more damage the Cycle after that.

You are a member of the Trance Alliance. You win if the Exalted Powers and the Storm Squadron are eliminated while at least one player from the Trance Alliance is alive.
Next, paper beats Rocktoise... wait, that game was earlier this year
bluedoom, you are Tidus, from Final Fantasy X. You are an All-Arounder. Your alias is Rocktoise.

You’re the son of the famous Jecht, who was a harsh mentor to you growing up before he vanished. Although you’re often carefree, you know to lock in during serious moments. When your home, Zanarkand, is attacked by Sin, you begin a series of events to become a guardian of the summoner Yuna, uncover mysterious truths, and save all of Spira from a vicious cycle.

As a guardian, you employ defensive and offensive tactics together. Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: Protecting ALIAS1 and fighting ALIAS2”. You will protect ALIAS1 from up to 2 HP of damage- then, if you successfully stop any damage this way, you will deal 1 damage to ALIAS2.

Blitzball is a huge hobby of yours, and a way to take the edge off of more serious times. Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: Enjoying a game of Blitzball with ALIAS” to relax together and learn what their HP is at the end of the Cycle.

You are a member of the Hope Bearers. You win if the Road Warriors and the Exalted Powers are eliminated while at least one player from the Hope Bearers is alive.
Sahagin got beached
NightEmerald, you are Leon, from Final Fantasy II. You are a Saboteur. Your alias is Sahagin.

Not to be confused with Squall, who goes by Leon in Kingdom Hearts. You start off as allies of Firion, Guy, and Maria, but after being separated, you align with the Emperor of Palamecia. As his Dark Knight, you capture the Wild Rose Rebellion at the Coliseum. You join forces with them again when the Dark Emperor returns from Hell, but leave after out of shame for your actions.

You walk the line between good and evil, sometimes helping or hurting the heroes. Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: Imprisoning ALIAS” to prevent them from using their abilities, but also protecting them from 2 HP of damage.

You are a member of the Hope Bearers. You win if the Road Warriors and the Exalted Powers are eliminated while at least one player from the Hope Bearers is alive.
Coeurl taps out
Da Letter El, you are Ultimecia, from Final Fantasy VIII. You are a Saboteur. Your alias is Coeurl.

You’re the final boss of FF8, a devastatingly powerful sorceress ruling over a dire future. Using advanced time magic and the Junction Machine Ellone, you attempt to bring about this timeline by sending your mind to possess Edea Kramer many years in the past. There you plan to become omnipotent by absorbing all of time and space using time compression.

As a wielder of powerful time magic, you have great control over the future. Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: Inflicting time compression upon ALIAS”, causing them to be unable to submit any actions besides factional commands on the next Cycle. Additionally, if they are dealt any amount of damage during that Cycle, they will have their final damage received increased by 1.

You are a member of the Exalted Powers. You win if the Hope Bearers and the Trance Alliance are eliminated while at least one player from the Exalted Powers is alive.
And lastly, the mighty Behemoth has been felled
Alice Kazumi, you are Clive, from Final Fantasy XVI. You are a Leader. Your alias is Behemoth.

As the firstborn son of the Archduke of Rosaria, you were anticipated to become the Dominant of the Eikon of Fire, the Phoenix. Your rejection leads to vicious rumours about your mother, leading to her betrayal of your family and the ultimate fall of your house. Unknown to even yourself, the rejection is because you already hold the power of a second stronger Eikon of Fire, Ifrit, who possesses the unique ability to steal the power of other Dominants. Over a decade later, after becoming a slave to your enemies, you are rescued by Cid Telamon. You must now use your powers to save your remaining friends, your country and ultimately, the world.

You are the leader of the Exalted Powers. You have the following abilities that will pass onto the next most senior member of your team if you die:
+Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: Recruiting ALIAS1, ALIAS2, ALIAS3”, and you will attempt to recruit them in order until you succeed or run out of targets. Recruitment always happens first in each Cycle, and can’t be interfered with directly by actions, although it can still fail for various reasons. Starting Cycle 3, you can list an additional alias and may recruit up to 2 players successfully.
+Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: ALIAS1 attacks ALIAS2 and ALIAS3” to designate an alias from the Exalted Powers to perform a 1 damage attack on each of the targets. (No damaging actions occur on Cycle 0.)

The following are your personal abilities:
+Each Cycle, you may submit “Cycle X: Scan ALIAS” to learn their full role PM.
+As an admired hero, your vote counts for 2. This will not be reflected in displayed vote totals and will not cause phases to end early.

You are a member of the Exalted Powers. You win if the Hope Bearers and the Trance Alliance are eliminated while at least one player from the Exalted Powers is alive.

That's everyone down for Cycle 4. Cycle 5 ends in about 41 and a half hours, back to our usual 5 Eastern on Monday deadline, which should be the case for the rest of the game unless things end up going on very long.

By the way, there are no Freelancers remaining, which I mentioned I would announce when that was true when some people asked.

Good luck with your killing!
