fwiw the way to break this game IMO is to just, not put all your reads in the thread until you have the gun
it limits scum's strategic opportunity because they can't try to push the gunman to shoot someone who has bad reads, because they don't know what the reads are yet

its gonna happen sooner or later, unless we decide to let mafia win if afk players have a single member in there
only difference is later is when you have more content to make better decisions/shots so if they ARE to get a gun, its better earlier
real best answer is we dont have any hard afks preferably though as mentioned earlier

I will say I played an OC on ps mafia recently and I scumread Prodigu like crazy. I DMd him talking to him as if he were confirmed maf because he was doing antitown things which I thought surely he knows better than this being a renowned player on this site, etc

fwiw since it was a point of discussion I do read town on flandrs because of the “I didn’t get a PM thing.” Maybe I’m taking him at his word too literally but I feel like that was just a case of mistakenly kind of spoiling what did/did not happen with PMs rather than a next level maf fakeout
