but me - tommy - a fairy - phoopes would not be a team that plays like this I think so the threadspew should be fairly apparent
 
Mafia being shot first changes the gamestate and forces mafia into a position where they have to defend each other at least a bit

I could see myself being wrong on one of Tommy phoopes and a fairy (all of whom I would currently consider town to different extents) but certainly not on 2-3 of them

Celever having the gun isn’t actually better than hydro having the gun for celever in reality, it just feels like it is for ego reasons sometimes but celever understands that getting shot hurts town, town shooting town is literally the only way we lose, it’s part of all our duty to not get shot as much as it is to shoot mafia

Now does mafia clever also want to not get shot? Absolutely, but not wanting to get shot isn’t scummy, it’s just self awareness of your wincon as either alignment, and experienced town should absolutely not want to get shot especially early

I'd love to discuss this more after the game as it just verges on general game theory, but to me at least it just seems unlikely that we're all gonna make it to the end since the chances of us hitting mafia every time are so unbelievably small, so would misfiring now but leaving town with more information not be better than misfiring later?

Anyways, I'm gonna go reread DBD and skipper's posts since I've mostly been focusing on the celever/texas portion of the game. back in a little while
 
I've only played two games so this may be nothing but Joey being so much less active than the last game I played with him does set off minor alarm bells even though he was mafia in the last game. is this a normal level of activity for him?

It’s not a normal level of activity for him but he’s also hardly ever town lol

I’m p sure his activity has historically been lower as town than as scum but I also think he’s aware of that, so it’s very easy to fake
